I had a wonderful stay at this charming cottage in Lakefield, Ontario. The check-in process was seamless and communication with the host was smooth throughout. The cottage was cozy and well-kept, nestled in a peaceful and quiet setting that made for a truly relaxing getaway. I especially loved the tranquil surroundings—perfect for unwinding and reconnecting with nature. Everything was just as described, and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Our stay at Lisa’s place was wonderful despite the power outage towards the end of our trip due to bad weather. The house was cozy, clean, and very comfortable. Lisa was incredibly helpful, kind, and considerate throughout our stay. She genuinely cares about her guests and went above and beyond to ensure we were okay. I can confidently say that she's one of the best host I've ever encountered. Overall, we had a great experience, and we highly recommend this place to anyone. We stayed a couple of nights and our stay was exactly what we needed - a peaceful, quiet retreat in a private lake front cottage. The view is beautiful and serene. We are already looking when we may be able to return!

My family and I had a wonderful time at Vicki’s. There were plenty of things to do and enjoy - water activities such as kayaking, canoeing and swimming during the day plus roasting marshmallows at the fire pit while stargazing at night. Very clean and quiet property and a responsive host. Would love to come back.

Great place to stay! Loved the cottage and the waterfront

The trailer had everything we needed for a family vacation. The part of the trailer with the kids bunks was very spacious with a play area and there were toys and games for the kids to play with. The pool at the campground had two lifeguards at all times, which I was very happy with. The campground also had a small Beach with a lot of communal toys to share. Racheal was easy to get in touch with and responded very quickly. We really appreciated that she let us know ahead of time that there was an event at the campground for the kids on the day that we were arriving so that we could be prepared and enjoy it. We did a day trip to the Warsaw caves which I would definitely recommend!

Eric was super helpful. He even helped us to set fireplace. House was also very beautiful

Ollie and Frank were tremendous hosts. We loved the log cabin and all their recommendations were exceptional. We will be back!!!

Great spot for a relaxing time with the kids. Small beach perfect for very little ones, nice park and basketball all right there. Unit is well equipped and very clean. Thanks for a nice weekend in Bobcaygeon!

Quaint, peaceful and scenic stay for a relaxing weekend. The cabin was very clean and exceeded my expectations. The private beach across the cabins is an added bonus.

Great place to stay for a longer time like we needed. Frank was always very responsive. A good location as well, its not a long drive to shops and restaurants but the house itself is in a fairly quiet area. Would definitely stay here again if a need arises.

This was a fun, peaceful trailer park resort with amazing amenities and gorgeous surroundings. While the trailer homes were close to each other, the fact that it was a quiet family environment, and that our spot was positioned towards the woods and had just the right window dressings, meant that we still had all the privacy we wanted. We would definitely consider coming back again. Jacqueline's place was a great place to rest up after a fun day.

Gary & Mina were excellent hosts. They greeted us for check in and where very accommodating. Any questions we had were quickly answered via the AirBNB app. The house was full of character and had lots of things to do indoors and outdoors. The kitchen was well stocked with supplies, utensils and kitchen wares. There was a washer/dryer centrally located which was great for towels and the Weber BBQ was in top notch condition. Water toys well maintained (2 kayaks, 1 paddle board, 1 canoe and 1 paddle boat). Pool and hot tub worked great, which was a must for our cottage getaway.

I had the pleasure of spending a wonderful week at the cottage with my 2 boys. The cottage had everything we needed and was very comfortable. The outdoor spaces were beautuful and the kids and I spent a lot of time on the swings and in the hammock. The lake was perfect for swimming (the kids especially loved the big floating mat) and we enjoyed exploring the lake in the canoe as well! The kids have been asking to go back ever since!

I stayed at Lakehouse on the Rocks with my two children and my friend's family of four and we had an amazing time! The location is beautiful and we were all able to unwind in their beautiful cottage. The kitchen is very well stocked. The layout is great with the two king rooms at the end of the hall. Each family had their own bathroom which was another plus! With all of the snow we didn't venture out into the area, but there was lots to do on the property. The hot tub was a top highlight! An accessibility note - there are many stairs to climb to enter the home. We found the back entrance off the deck a bit easier for loading and unloading. I highly recommend this cottage to anyone travelling with a large family or with multiple families! It was a dream in the winter and I can only imagine how lovely it is in the warm weather, too!

our stay was even better than we could have imagined. This property offers many amenities to make sure you enjoy the stay. The host is extremely responsive and helpful as well. We definitely plan on returning!

We were 8 guys (with possible of more) coming to see a sick friend who is unfortunately nearing the end of life. The place was beautiful and the location was perfect. The weekend was quite cold but the place was welcoming enough that we mostly stayed inside and caught up with old friends. Despite an unexpected issue with the hot tub, she went above and beyond to make things right, which we truly appreciated. The surroundings were peaceful, and the amenities made for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. We’d definitely love to come back and highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a perfect retreat!

We had a great weekend with our group. Cottage is beautiful and well kept. Hosts are accommodating and go above and beyond to make you feel welcome and that you enjoy your stay. Would bring my family here every year if only they allowed dogs. Will be booking again!

Really enjoyed it definitely coming back

This cottage is an absolute 10/10—clean, beautiful, and incredibly cozy. Even in the heart of winter, the views were breathtaking! But what truly made our stay unforgettable was our amazing hosts, Brent and Marina. A snowstorm hit during our visit, and when our car got stuck, Brent went above and beyond—arranging for a snowplow, offering us an extra night’s stay, and even helping us get our car running again. We couldn’t have made it home safely without his kindness and support. We’re beyond grateful for their hospitality and can’t wait to return in the summer!
