The apartment was warm, clean and well built. We noticed that it was extremely soundproof from the other units,The views were spectacular, and it was a 5 minute stroll from the town. We bumped into Liz at the Pub Quiz on Sunday night and she was very approachable. She gave us good tips on kiwi spotting within town. We did manage a close encounter with a kiwi which was very exciting. Would definitely recommend the apartment and Stewart Island as a whole.

This place couldn't have been more perfect for our needs. It was spotless, had everything we needed, was a short walk from the center of town, and Leonie was super helpful with everything we needed. And the view from the place was also amazing! We come back every year to Stewart Island and I will try to book this spot every time moving forward! Our stay was magical. The views are amazing, a beautiful and very quiet beach, a cozy fire and lots of good time in the sunroom with the kids. Having the car really made it easy to access the town and the different hikes. ah yeah... and did we mention the kiwis that visited us on our first morning just before the superb sunrise!!!!
