Lovely stay and met Simon in person when we frequented the local pub for food and drinks. Outdoor space was good for my little dog, and the inside was clean and comfortable with added extras like biscuits and hot chocolate. Only thing I struggled with was parking as I had a large car and manouvering out of the spot in the morning was tricky. Had a lovely time! Thanks for having us!

Exceptional property and an exceptionally considerate host. I was only at Stable Cottage for a one night stay, but the level of charm and comfort left me wanting to stay a whole lot longer! The cottage is warm, well equipped, nicely furnished and easy to access. Importantly for me (as I had some work to do), the WiFi was totally reliable for video meetings and the environment conducive with ‘setting up office’ for a few hours. I really can’t fault a thing…comfortable sofa - so comfortable I almost fell asleep watching Netflix (included on the Smart TV). The double bed was super comfortable with quality linens. The shower provided ample hot water and the kitchen was perfectly appointed for cooking. A perfect stay and I will not hesitate to return in future. Marcus is the best host I’ve encountered in a very long time.

Lovely little place , perfect for me, my wife and our teenage daughter on a visit to Newark upon Trent. Easy to drive into town , my family loved the town whilst I was at the air museum. Feel like we need to come back to this part of the world at some point as we found lots of other places to visit. When we do I hope this property is available to rent as it was perfect for us.

The Loft is so gorgeous - styled so well and immaculately clean. It’s a spacious apartment with two large rooms and two large bathrooms. Pippa made our stay so so special with extra touches that were lovely and we loved staying here. Will 100% be back and definitely recommend anyone to stay! 💖

Honestly this place is a vibe. If you want city vibes and luxury with views then this is the place 😊 Lovely space with a lovely roof top too. Easy check in and host was responsive and friendly.

Anuj's place was really clean and we felt very at home. Collecting the keys was easy, parking is right outside the house, and the street is peaceful. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need. There is a bathroom upstairs and a toilet downstairs, both are spotless. Anuj sent lots of information via email so we didn't need to ask any questions while we were there. Also, he left sweets in the bedrooms which went down well with my 7-year-old! We will use this place for our future visits to Nottingham. Top host! Thank you, Anuj.

We stayed at Jessica’s cottage while visiting family. It was very clean and inviting and in beautiful surroundings. Great attention to detail and everything you could ask for a relaxing stay. We would highly recommend and would love to visit again

great stay in a lovely quirky cottage. I had a few days away with my daughters, we enjoyed the peace and the idyllic setting of the hot tub. would highly recommend a walk up to The Chequers inn, the food was lovely. Thank you for a lovely stay in very peaceful surroundings.

A lovely warm and cosy place to stay in a fascinating part of the National Park. There is so much to explore amid amazing scenery. It's a great base with excellent hosts.

A beautiful and immaculate house and very well equipped. Perfect location for the Monsal Trail and Bakewell itself and so very peaceful. Thomas very friendly and responsive. Only slight comment is we found the bottom bedroom a bit chilly at nighttime. But would highly recommend this property to others.

Absolutely charming cottage in the heart of the Peak District. The cottage itself it’s charming and cozy with all the amenities you could possibly need. It is modern and extremely clean and well kept. The views are incredible. What a delight to wake up to a whole field of cows outside your bedroom window! We had a fantastic couple of days!

Just returned from our break away. We have had a lovely time. The place is a good location and very clean. It has everything we needed for a family weekend away. Great for larger family break. Would definitely go back.

We had a great stay. The location is perfect and the apartment had everything we needed. We had an issue with the hot water, but Kathryn was very responsive and took care of it. The internet connection in the area can be a bit glitchy, so if you have to work, it might be a hit or miss as it cuts in and out. Parking was a tiny bit tight. We have a crossover SUV, so anything bigger it might get very tight. But having said that, the parking is safe and right by the property in a communal car park. There is also a small playground across if you have any young children. I would recommend the apartment as it was well equipped, and this was also the most comfortable sofa bed I’ve ever slept on with very soft and comfortable bedding and pillows. Thanks for having us and being great hosts.

The apartment looks exactly like the photos and it’s spotless. I was staying for work and it felt like I was on holiday in a home away from home! The step by step pictures for everything is so so helpful and made check-in, check-out and everything in between so easy to follow. Sanjay is absolutely brilliant! The car park is quite tight and I have a big car, however after the first time parking and getting out, it was then easy to get in and out off when I knew the angles I needed to drive in at. I got there very late at night and was struggling to park in the designated spot (down to my terrible parking abilities) I messaged Sanjay as I was worried about parking in someone else’s space and he phoned me straight away to make sure everything was okay and gave me alternative spaces to park in. I work in Leicester a lot and will 100% stay again. Thank you Sanjay!

Bob and Paula were very helpful and friendly they have kitted the place with everything you'll need and book with information on almost everything making a wonderful experience for myself and my wife the quality of everything was very high which added to making it a great experience I would recommend this accommodation to anyone

just returned after 3 nights in Wirksworth on way back from Scotland. a great break in superb surroundings. Decor really interesting and so cosy, lots of space , superb bathroom with great shower, kitchen well equipped. Exceeded expectations and so central. Wirksworth an attractive town, easily accessible to places of interest. Enjoyed meals at Le Mistral and Cichetti . Enjoyed the recommendations of Angus and glad we went up to the Star Disc. All in all, a wonderful stay.

Would recommend to anyone, will definitely be staying again. Thanks for having us!

Cannot emphasise more how incredible this place was! Clean. Plush. Fancy. Classy. Incredible roof terrace. Such a delightful way to spend a long weekend with friends. And the hosts…… Kate and Matt were always so communicative and flexible. Really friendly and just an absolute pleasure to deal with. Also left my laptop there when I checked out and they went out of their way to arrange for it to be returned to me. Would definitely stay with them again if I were to stay in Nottingham.

We had a wonderful stay at Debbie's studio apartment while visiting Chesterfield for our friend's wedding. Debbie was a fantastic host, providing lots of helpful information and even leaving breakfast cereals, tea, coffee, and milk, which was much appreciated! The apartment had everything we needed, with easy parking in a lovely, quiet area. Highly recommend for a comfortable stay!
