Goran was very friendly and kind, with a lot of information about food places to eat. He was flexible with our check in time when we arrived early, and came over quickly to respond to a minor issue with the water heater. All in all a great host. We loved staying at the apartment.

Central London Apartment 5 - Hyde Park

AnnRating, 5 stars5 days ago
The apartment was as advertised. It was clean. The neighborhood is nice in that one can walk to go to a restaurant or grocery store, but also can get away from the urban environment by walking the two blocks to Kensington Gardens/Hyde Park. The apartment was quiet and private. We didn't use it, but the apartment has a washer, which is an unusual but potentially very helpful feature, depending on the length of your trip. There is a TV, fridge, microwave and a small coffee maker as well as a small table to dine at. We enjoyed our stay!

Newly Refurbished Large Family Home-6 min to Tube

LidaRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Jubed was a terrific host - extremely responsive and helpful (even when I managed to lock our passports in the safe on Easter, and couldn’t get them out!). The place was also perfect for our large family - clean, spacious, nice kitchen, outdoor area. We also loved the neighborhood, and since the Piccadilly line was just a five minute walk from the house, it was easy to get anywhere in London. Great place! Would stay there again.

Cosy & bright!

KirstieRating, 5 stars9 months ago
Elsa’s place is great for a stay outside the hustle and bustle of central London. An easy 15 minute walk to the tube that will take you straight to the centre, we used this as a base for a gig at Hyde Park and travel was incredibly easy. The space is comfortable, private and clean with everything you need and Elsa kept in touch to ensure we could easily access the property. The use of the drive way was also incredibly useful. Would highly recommend.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Nova’s property! The house was spotless, beautifully decorated, and equipped with everything we could possibly need. The location was perfect – close to underground, yet still peaceful and relaxing. Nova was an exceptional host, always quick to respond to any questions and making sure we felt right at home. The thoughtful touches, like Wine bottle and Roshen chocolate, truly went above and beyond our expectations. We can’t recommend this place enough and would love to stay here again on our next visit. Thank you for a fantastic experience!

Superb penthouse with 2 bathrooms and roof terrace

NicoleRating, 5 stars1 week ago
The apt was exactly as described. The apartment was clean and looked exactly like the photos. The beds were comfortable, and there was plenty of room for my family of five, including 3 teenagers. We had enough space to spread out and not feel like we were on top of each other. The patio was a great place to relax in the afternoon enjoying a glass of wine before heading out for dinner. The neighborhood was peaceful and had lots of great restaurants, along with a pharmacy, wine store, pub, and small market right around the corner. The location is fantastic, situated in right between Earl's Court and Kensington, with excellent transportation options. It's also close to Notting Hill, which offers great restaurants and shopping. This place is perfect if you're looking for a base to explore London. It’s close to Kensington Palace Gardens, which were beautiful for a nice walk. Matthew, the host, was accommodating, allowing us to check in early. We will be back for sure! Great experience.

Comfortable micro studio at 4th floor 5 mim/tube

UteRating, 5 stars5 months ago
The apartment is in the middle of London, on a beautiful and quiet street. The house is very well maintained, and although the path to the 4th floor is a bit challenging, the ascent is absolutely worth it! The apartment corresponds exactly to the pictures – everything is sparkling clean and well equipped. There's nothing missing, and the high-quality furnishings create a real feel-good atmosphere. Especially pleasant: in the bathroom there are even Rituals products. Beatrix always responded very quickly and solution-oriented to our questions. We felt completely comfortable. This place is a 10/10 – we will be happy to come back and can fully recommend it!

Modern 2 bed flat Notting hill

StephanieRating, 5 stars8 months ago
Perfect location, lovely rooms, easy access to Underground and buses. Lovely place to stay if you want to explore Notting Hill. We were there in August and there is no air conditioning, but opening the windows at night and the fans made it quite pleasant. This flat is on a very busy street, so the nighttime noises (traffic, people) can wake you up, so if that bothers you, I suppose it could be a problem. But it wasn’t a problem for us. The washer and dryer were a huge plus.

Your guide to London

All About London

One of the world’s most visited cities, London is a rich tapestry of history, culture, and innovation that come together seamlessly over 600 square miles on the River Thames. Even if you’ve never been to the English capital, chances are you’re familiar with its sights like Big Ben, London Bridge, and Buckingham Palace. You could spend months exploring its world-class museums, sprawling Victorian gardens, and A-list theaters and still not scratch the surface.

London’s creative drive extends beyond the exhibition halls and onto the plate. The city is an epicenter of gastronomy, boasting some of the most diverse cuisine in the world. Indian curry houses line Brick Lane, Jamaican jerk chicken shops populate New Cross, and the aroma of grilled Turkish kebabs welcomes you to Stoke Newington. In between meals, you’ll find high-fashion boutiques, niche markets, and some of the oldest bookstores in Europe. Just make sure you save time to spend a Sunday afternoon with a classic roast dinner and your beverage of choice at a corner pub — you’ll fall in love with London in an entirely different way.

The best time to stay in a vacation rental in London

London’s weather is fairly mild year-round, but that does not mean it is always warm and sunny. Rain is part of the charm in the capital, so it’s smart to pack an umbrella and a trench coat. Flowering trees and blooming gardens make spring a lovely time to visit, while a visit in December promises Christmas markets and holiday magic that emanates across the city. The weather is likely to be the best in summer, while chilly winter days make for a perfect excuse to park yourself in front of the fireplace and warm your stomach with some snacks at a pub. Regardless of when you go, keep in mind that there is no off-season in London and no shortage of apartments to rent.

Top things to do in London

Shopping in Shoreditch

Every Sunday, London’s trendiest neighborhood is home to Brick Lane market. Wander past buskers playing live music and striking street art, and you’ll find stalls selling vintage clothing, antiques, and wares by local designers. Duck into basement thrift shops and past warehouse doors that house artist ateliers, and follow your nose to Upmarket, a sprawling street food hall, for a smorgasbord of international snack options.

Barbican Centre

Amble past the Southbank booksellers and turn your eye to the Brutalist beauty that is the Barbican. Part apartment block, part multidisciplinary art complex, it’s a one-stop shop for revolving contemporary art exhibitions, to take in a London Symphony Orchestra concert, see the season’s top-billed independent theatre, or watch an arthouse film. And in December it hosts one of the city’s most charming outdoor Christmas markets.

The Shard

If you’re looking for views, you won’t get better ones than from the tip top of the Shard, a 72-story skyscraper that towers above London Bridge. It houses several restaurants and bars, each one serving up delectable views over the city skyline. Whether you’re after modern British fare, craft cocktails, or afternoon tea, you’ll feel on top of the world looking out the floor-to-ceiling glass windows with the whole city sprawled beneath. Naturally, the most impressive views are to be found at sunset and into the night.
