This spot was so beautiful. If you like farm animals and camping then you will like this cabin. Very rustic and peaceful. Carolyn was nice enough to give me a tour of the property and the animals. She provides snacks for you to feed them if you want to. You can even go in the gates and see the animals up close. There were alpacas, lamas, dogs, goats, lamb, chicken, donkey, and horses. I would compare this stay similar to camping in a tent in the woods…as there is no running water, no AC, limited cell phone service, and no WiFi. There are electrical outlets if you need to charge your phone and she did provide a heater. If you do not like camping in a tent then this cabin may not be for you. There was an outhouse and outdoor shower available. Overall, I would say this experience is waaaay better than camping with a tent because you get to stay in a wonderful handmade wooden cabin on a 50 acre property, my favorite part was seeing the animals. I would book this place again.

We used this house for a photo shoot and Devin was extremely flexible for our check in and check out so we could maximize our days in the house. It’s gorgeous and kept pristine. Every bathroom, bedroom, and the kitchen were all so well kept and pretty. We did have a few people that had trouble finding it when their maps took them to a house a couple of minutes down the road but otherwise it was perfect!!

We have stayed here three times. We enjoy the house, it's location and the neighborhood.

Beautifully appointed historic farmhouse on a scenic property that is an attraction in itself — a stunning nature preserve with a pond, walking trails, outdoor pavilions, a canoe launch on the Apalachee River, and more. Lee and Amy were kind, accommodating, and responsive hosts. We are grateful for a relaxing weekend on their amazing property and hope to stay here again!
