Cabin vacation rentals in Monroe Lake

The only issue we had was Sunday. The water pressure in the shower dipped really low. Looking forward to staying again. 🙂

We’d had a last-minute cancellation at another Airbnb in Kentucky due to flooding in that area. We immediately looked for a new place that we could escape to for some nature & unplugged time, and stumbled upon Garrett & Ewan’s listing—luckily a short drive for us. It is a gem of a find! Cozy home in a private setting with trails and on the water—hot tub was a bonus! We loved sitting around the fire pit, too. The loft was perfect for our teenagers. The rockers on the porch were our go-to in the morning for coffee. We commented several times on how it would be even better to stay in the summer—lots to do outdoors for all. The beds were a bit firm but that is just a personal preference. The house was clean & comfortable—definitely made for a great escape from the busyness of life. Garrett & Ewa were incredibly responsive and quick to answer any questions we had. We were grateful they accepted a last minute booking! It was just the type of R&R our family needed.☺️

The cabin made for a relaxing, peaceful getaway. The deck has beautiful views of sunrises over the lake. The home is updated nicely and very comfortable while still being very immersed in nature. Highly recommend! We will definitely be back!

Very beautiful home! One of the most beautiful we ever stayed in Indiana. Interior and exterior of house were perfect. We travel a lot, almost every month and got spoiled with beautiful locations/houses/details. And this house deserved to be one of the best. We love the comfortable furniture, beds and even bed sheets. It was nice to see Christmas tree already set up during thanksgiving week! Kids and us loved it Thank you very much!

Everything was the way the pics showed. The 5 mile gravel road with drop offs on either side and washed out gravel did scare me a bit however we took it slow. Now the actual curve bent road/driveway was an experience I myself do not want to do have again. We did move our car back to designated parking. We got the best leg workout from all the stairs. Over all it was a quiet spot with cabins nearby. The jacuzzi and pool table was used frequently.

We stayed at Melissa’s place with 6 adults and a toddler. There was plenty of space for us. The beds were extremely comfy, bathrooms very clean & kitchen was well stocked. We loved the s’more supplies that were left for us, such a thoughtful touch! We also enjoyed letting my toddler “fish” in the pond, eating our meals on the deck and sitting by the bonfire. A short drive to Nashville. We had a great stay!

We are home flippers and woodcrafters. The wood construction was phenomenal. The attention to detail was amazing. We had a small problem and heard from the owner immediately. Thank you

This lil cabin is a gem 💎.... It is perfect for 2 or 4. Has all the amenities of home. Literally everything! Just bring yourself.... If you are a cook like me it is fully stocked with what you'd need to cook ANY meal! I was impressed, I'd come back. Marissa is a great host and has a well maintained property!

I believe this is my 6th time staying here. I tell people it is my home away from home! Michelle, and ALL the boys 😉, are the best ever! I am already trying to figure out when I will go back again. This place is the perfect, peaceful get-a-way! We truly loved it!!

We attended the War in the Woods No Prep at Brown County Dragway during our stay. The cabin location was very convenient and we walked to the track through a walking path. The cabin had cold A/C, a nice bathroom, nice porch, and overall comfy place to lay our heads down for few hours. Only complaints were there was no TV at all (only rental I have ever stayed in my life without some sort of TV) and there were cobwebs throughout the rental.

Our stay at this beautiful cabin was perfect! The kitchen had everything we needed, the master bedroom felt luxurious with a king bed, walk-in closet, and balcony, and the sunroom was a great spot to enjoy all of our meals (the weather was gorgeous!). Our kids loved the game room, the kayak and canoe on the pond, and the hammock. We went into Nashville for the day and enjoyed shopping, great restaurants, and a few distilleries. The host was wonderful, very responsive to any questions we had.

Amazing stay! It was secluded, yet close to Bloomington and Nashville! Very peaceful and clean.

Very peaceful and secluded home, beautiful location and stores near by . House had everything that we needed to stay couple days. I’m sure in the summer it looks even more beautiful with green trees around the house.

It is a great, cozy little place that serves us well for a mountain biking weekend at Brown County State Park. We loved sitting in the enclosed porch looking out at the ponds. The town of Nashville is an awesome place to explore.

Cute small cabin in a beautiful setting / nearby to a Dollar General and local Restaurant- as well as the Nashville shops.

We had a great time and the house was wonderful! The house has everything you need to cook and we enjoyed dinner at the cabin most nights. The house is only a few minutes to multiple restaurants and shops! The house was large and more than enough space for our family! The kids loved the creek and mom and dad enjoyed the hot tub!

Peaceful, clean and comfortable space. Well stocked for cooking and plenty of room for our family of 4. The hot tub was clean and private. Only 10 minutes to little Nashville, if you want to do some shopping or eat out, but we could have just stayed in place and would have been happy with just being there. Our teenagers enjoyed walking along the creek during the day and playing board games at night. We enjoyed our time there and would return.

Cabin was really clean and cozy. This cabin is about. 15-20 mins away from town, but loved how secluded and quiet it was. We enjoyed the hot tub one night and also had a bonfire one night. Sam is very quick and responsive, would rent from him again for sure. Only complaint was the beds were too soft for our liking, but would stay again :)

Angela's place was awesome. If you are visiting this area, it would be tough to find a better place to stay. Angela, was on top of check in/out guidance and made sure we were all set for stay. Great host and a great home.

We booked this cabin last minute and are so happy we did! It’s not far from downtown which is where everything is that we wanted to do. Hard Truth, among other wineries and distilleries, is why we decided to venture to Brown County yet again. The host is fast to reply and very transparent about the ins and outs. The property is stunning, the cabin has a lot of character, was super clean and perfect for our stay. We enjoyed looking and reading about all the history in the living room area. The multiple bedrooms and bathrooms were fun to pick which we wanted to occupy! We’ll definitely be back and plan to stay more than one night next time. Before we left, we did walk over to say hi to the horses. The hot tub was an added bonus, too. We plan to save this listing and share it with our friends. Definitely worth it being only a few hours from our home!

Elaine's place was wonderful! It was clean, well organized, and beautifully decorated. She has thought of everything. While the long gravel road to get there was a little intimidating, it was well worth it. When I first arrived, the home and rooms seemed smaller than they do in the pictures. However, as I walked around I was pleased with the space and layout as it includes 3 levels, plus outdoor and garage (gym) space. My favorite spots were the hot tub and loft.

This is a very beautiful place with plenty of privacy and beautiful surroundings. The host "Apolonia" is a very kind, responsive, and understanding host. Unfortunately there was some storm damage from the storms that came through in the days prior to our stay that the host was unaware of. However, when I contacted Apilonia in regards to these issues she was extremely responsive and apologetic. She was very understanding when I vacated my reservation early due to said storm damage and very helpful when it came to me getting a refund for the days I was unable to stay. I hope someday to revisit and get the full enjoyment this place has to offer. This is definitely a place I would recommend to anyone wanting a getaway from the everyday life. It offers beautiful scenery, the cabin itself is absolutely gorgeous and the host is exceptional.

Three of my brothers and myself stayed at the cabin from Nov 7 - 10, we were in town to attend the Indiana vs Michigan football game. the cabin was as advertised and was a perfect match for us, we each had our own bedroom and private bathroom, the cabin is a couple miles off the beaten path, it was very quiet, secluded, the cabin was very clean, and we enjoyed our stay immensely. Our hosts Peter and Suzanne, answered our questions promptly and provided lots of information. would recommend the cabin
