Cabin vacation rentals in McAlester

Steven was INCREDIBLY accommodating! We were working with very particular days that we needed, and they coincided with a previously scheduled house repair that he had scheduled. He went above and beyond to make it work for us, even discounting an early arrival for us. His communication was excellent and the effort he put in to make it work for us really stood out. The house is peaceful and perfect for any group. Great bed arrangements. The kids loved having their own space downstairs to hang out and play. Plenty of outdoor seating that surround the entire house. Loved the fire pit being near the hot tub, as we were all able to enjoy visiting together no matter which option we chose. Provided firewood was definitely a bonus! Can’t wait to come back again during the summer!

My husband and I stayed for one night, but we agreed that we would absolutely be back and would stay up to a week. The cabin was beautiful and in a perfect location for anyone who would like to see the Talimena state Park. The busy road was quite worrisome for noise, but once we got inside we really couldn't hear anything. It was the best getaway for my husband and I after having our second child. Anyone who enjoys peace and quiet and nature will absolutely love it here! Junie was very quick when I messaged her about anything. It said her average response time was three hours, but I was hearing back before that average time. The hot tub was absolutely perfect for when it got chilly at night time. we can't wait to book our next stay here ❤️

While the host of this cabin was WONDERFUL and the cabin worked very well I wish I had known a few things when I booked. 1) The cabin is 4 miles straight up a dirt mountain road-it takes 20-30 minutes to drive that 4 miles 2) the stairs inside are incredibly narrow, not a consistent height, and just generally difficult to get up and down (this caused us to have to shift sleeping arrangements) 3) the dining table is purposely distressed to the point of almost not being functional (you can’t set a cup of coffee in some places). It was a nice place for our larger group and again the host is wonderful. The upstairs bathroom and master are enormous. Everything had been freshly cleaned and linens and towels smelled very fresh but floors and furniture have used a really good deep clean. Instructions were clear and communicated well. All in all a little far out and inconvenient but we did have a great stay.

I love what Klara, Chuck, and Donald doing !! Sanctuary for Animals has very special place in my heart ! The bed and breakfast cabin was so cozy !! Walk in door .. and you feel at home … feel all the stress of life .. melt away.. love all the sounds of farm.. relaxing hot tub every evening after amazing days. Breakfast delivered will blow your taste buds off !! Delicious !!! Cabin is fully stocked .. they took care of every need … amazing !! Bed was so comfortable ! So many sweet dogs there .. who would love to come home with you! You won’t regret coming to sanctuary.. you will love it!! Looking forward to next stay!

The cabin was exactly as described, clean, easy to find, and spacious. The driveway can hold 4 cars. Keith and the cohost were very responsive and helpful when reached out to.

This was a great getaway spot! It is located in a gated “community” with amazing scenery. There is a tennis court and also a frisbee golf course if you’re interested in that. Randy is responsive and friendly. I recommend booking with Randy!

Great place to get away for a few days or longer. We didn’t want to leave. They’ve thought of everything. Kitchen supplies, popcorn for movies, extra towels, they had things we had forgotten. We spent the day in the hottub, cooked out and watched the fire burn in such beautiful surroundings in the country-not a person around! The full kitchen is the best…many only have a microwave and sink - huge plus when we booked and when we were there. The drive is easy from the Dallas area and if you need anything - a town with Walmart among other stores is just a quick drive. I hope to go back soon!

My wife and I went for our anniversary and couldn’t have been more pleased. It was quaint, quiet, very clean and comfortable! The hot tub was a plus and guest services was expedient. We would definitely stay there again!

I frequent the Eufaula lake often, and this is my second time staying at this Air BnB. the cabin is cozy, yet spacious. The wild life that literally walk right up to the back porch is amazing! The host is very responsive, and answered any questions that I had. like I said I have stayed here twice now, and I will be back many more times! 10/10!!!

Beautiful A frame house. Very clean. Helen is very accommodating. Storms hit heavy and they were kind enough to clear a spot for our truck. We had a great time with our Granddaughters and their families. Highly recommended!!

It’s absolutely my favorite place to date where I’ve stayed. Quiet, peaceful and no detailed left undone. They’ve done an amazing job with this cabin. Highly recommend!

My son and his two fishing buddies were very pleased. Easy parking for vehicle and boat. Both the bed and sofa were very comfortable. Highly recommend. It’s nothing fancy but just what was needed and for a good price.

It was one of the best places we have stayed at in terms of how nice the place is taken care of. How stocked everything was; kitchen with everything you need, pots, spices, oil, trash bags (we have been at places that do not put enough!), grill utensils, etc. even some goodies for us when we arrived. Overall we loved the house and how quiet it was around.

Awesome and quiet little paradise in the mtns near robbers cave lost the key but Yuri to the rescue got us in told us no big deal awesome hosts i would recommend to any couple or single travelers for a cozy stay thanks you guys are great 👍🏽

My family and I absolutely loved our stay at Lester’s cabin! There was SO much to do on the secluded property. My 7 year old had a blast on the zip line, my husband and brother in law loved playing disc golf, we spent hours exploring the waterfront shores finding all sorts of driftwood. The giant fire pit with suspended swings was such a unique and relaxing experience. Lester has put so much thought into all of the amenities he provided that made our stay exceptionally accommodating! For the nature loving and adventurous seekers this is your place!! If you are one that expects perfection in an Airbnb such as former negative reviews then do yourself a favor and look elsewhere because the reality is you will never find that in a rustic, lakefront cabin in the woods. I would 100% stay here again and look forward to coming back!

What a wonderful and peaceful location - house - we loved sitting on the back terrace watching the lake. Host was super helpful and easy to reach. Would love to come here again.

This place was a little slice of heaven. As soon as you walk in the front door, you can see straight through the back to the lake. The views in the morning and evening are simply beautiful. We felt extremely fortunate to get a chance to stay here as this is the owners personal lake cabin. The fishing was wonderful right off the dock! Everything from crappie to sand bass. We were able to catch it all off minnows, nightcrawlers, and lures. Stephanie was kind enough to let us use her families kayaks and that was a huge hit for our boys. Afternoon and early evening kayaking was simply the best! Stephanie was a wonderful host! Her place had everything under the sun and then some. Amenities galore, so much so, that it really did feel like a home away from home. We would stay at this place or any other location hosted by Stephanie in a heartbeat!!! Do not let the low number of ratings scare you away! She and her property are great!!!

The cabin was actually better than advertised! Very clean. Had all the basics (sheets, towels, kitchen basics. It was simple, charming and appropriately priced. A breaker was switched off at the stove and the host came by immediately to remedy it. It was cold and rainy all weekend and we went out for a hike and came back to a clean warm cozy place. Would absolutely stay again. Thank you!

Quiet and peaceful area, Darius was a great host.

The cabin was very clean and very comfortable. As the description states, there is no internet or satellite tv. At first we thought this might be an issue, but turned out to be a huge blessing. Being unplugged is exactly what we needed, turning off the noise and just resting. Also, pay attention to the directions they send you. The google map directions will take you to wrong house.

Very nice place for my fishing partner and i to stay with our truck and boat for a college fishing tournament!
