Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Lay Lake

We spent 4 nights together with our family. Justine’s place was perfect for the family to gather in the open living room/kitchen area. The sofas had several recliners and plenty of seating for the 11 of us. My parents use walkers and the first floor was easy for them to move about. The main floor bathrooms have walk in showers and rails in the toilet area. In addition, there were 2 lift recliners for those needing help standing from sitting position. The upstairs was great for the young adults to hang out later at night. Overall we loved Justine’s place and are planing on visiting again in the near future. Oh, the sunsets are gorgeous!! Thanks for sharing your place with our family!!

I spent the night here the night before my wedding and got ready with my bridesmaids and it was perfect!! James was kind and accommodated for us to allow a late check out so we had enough time to get ready. The house was roomy, clean, and beautiful. Highly recommend!!

Wonderful home! We felt very at ease and welcome. We were there to help move our granddaughter into the dorms at University of Montevallo. The house was only a short drive away and very convenient to stores and restaurants. Our granddaughter thoroughly enjoyed the treasure hunt to find the key to the wardrobe, and she loved having her own bedroom instead of us staying in a hotel. The kitchen was very adequate for the simple meals we fixed during the week. And it was nice to be able to do our laundry before heading home. Highly recommend this house and our hostess, Gabrielle!

Four of us stayed at Heather's house while playing several of the local RTJ golf courses. The house was conveniently located and comfortable enough for 4 men.

We were in Alabaster for MammothMarch at Oak Mountain State Park. The home was perfect for our weekend stay. Plenty of towels, kitchen had everything we needed. Communication, check in and out instructions were easy and not overly involved. I would recommend this home for a multi night stay. Beds were comfortable, hot water held up for 6 back to back showers after the hike.

Highly recommended! Luxurious linens and soaps. Gourmet kitchen and the cutest porch and swings! Relaxing. Well equipped. Gorgeous! We walked to breakfast, lunch and dinner with our pup everyday. Emma was a huge help in recommending good bites that were dog-friendly. We will definitely stay again!

We stayed at this Airbnb while in town for my brother’s wedding, and it was the perfect choice for our family. The location in downtown Birmingham was ideal—right near the Museum of Art, which made it easy to get to the reception while also managing our two young children. The space itself was great, and we especially loved having an amazing gelato shop right downstairs. While there wasn’t dedicated parking, we never had an issue finding street parking, and the nearby surface lot was very affordable. We also enjoyed walking to brunch at Frothy Monkey in the mornings. The only challenges were that the elevator wasn’t working the first day, and finding the entrance to the residence was a bit tricky at first. However, Bridgette was very responsive and helpful when we reached out. Overall, this was a fantastic place to stay, and we’d definitely recommend it for anyone looking for a convenient and comfortable spot in Birmingham!

Booked this for one of our employees for a temporary stay in Ashland, AL. The employee was very happy with the stay and the amenities provided at the AirBnb. It was a clean, charming place for a temporary stay.

I can’t say enough wonderful things about this place! The pictures do not do it justice. It was clean, comfortable, spacious, in a safe neighborhood, not far from town but not in the middle of the hustle/bustle, close to the interstate, and perfectly located between Birmingham and Talladega. Wendy was responsive and flexible when our flight was delayed by multiple hours, and we weren’t able to arrive until the wee hours of the morning. She even left the lights on outside so we could see to get in and had water/snacks there for us. Check-in was a breeze, and check out requests were reasonable. I would not hesitate to stay here again!

Great place, good restaurants within a couple minutes drive, parking is plentiful right outside the apartment on the street, Jacob is very responsive. Washer and Dryer in a convenient spot in the bathroom. Beds pretty comfortable. No complaints!

Sue was a great host! She was helpful, gave clean straight forward instructions and very responsive. The place felt just like home and it was clean. I really enjoyed the peace and quiet. Walmart wasn’t far, any activities wasn’t far away and anything else you may need. I would definitely stay at Sue properties again!
