It was a wonderful place to stay! It was close to everything but in a secluded neighborhood so it was very peaceful!

Excellent home and perfect for our family of 7. It’s beautifully decorated. Everyone was basically able to have their own bedroom/bed. Speaking of the beds they were super comfortable. Blazing fast internet/wifi. Bathrooms have everything you need, toiletries, soaps, shampoos etc. Kitchen has everything you need plus everything you didn’t think you needed to cook. I’m a coffee lover and they have a drip coffee maker, nespresso, AND a pour over setup. They have all the filters/pods/coffee you need for all of them as well. Was very nice. Backyard was perfect place to hangout and enjoy the evening or have a coffee in the morning. Tons of parking at the home in the private driveway. There’s lots of restaurants and stores some less than a block away. We had tons of selections for uber eats / DoorDash too. Overall a wonderful stay and would definitely stay here again.

Absolutely beautiful stay! Very clean inside and well organized. If this place is available I highly recommend staying here because it is well worth it! This is a great stay for trips to DC because it’s only 30-45 mins away from downtown.

5 stars – Perfect little getaway in D.C. I stayed at Anita’s Airbnb for 3 days and 2 nights, and I can’t recommend it enough! The property is located in a beautiful and peaceful neighborhood in Washington D.C., which made the entire stay feel safe, cozy, and relaxing. The place itself was spotless – super clean and well-maintained. One thing that really stood out to me (and is honestly such a rare gem in the U.S.) was the bidet in the bathroom! That alone was a huge plus for comfort and convenience. Anita was a fantastic host. She was super responsive, kind, and made us feel really welcome throughout the stay. We had zero issues, which made everything that much smoother and more enjoyable. If you're visiting D.C., do yourself a favor and stay here. I would definitely come back in a heartbeat if I’m ever in town again. Highly, highly recommend!

A very comfortable, secure and quiet location that was received very clean. Selam is a very responsive host with helpful suggestions. Provided are ample bathroom (shampoo/conditioner and liquid bath wash included), kitchen, and washer/dryer supplies. A fully stocked kitchen with good cooking utensils, knives, and spice rack. Groceries at Safeway is an easy 0.7 mile walk. We enjoyed the Toki Classic Ramen and Half Chicken Steam Bun at the recommended walkable Toki Underground restaurant. The Chocolate Caramel Cloud is a must at the very nearby Capital Candy Jar. Granddaughter enjoyed the large chicken wings with mumbo sauce and the broccoli with brown sauce at Hong Kong Carryout. It is literally a carryout as there are no seats or dining tables. If walkers, it is a nice 30 min. walk to The Capitol, Union Station, and to the U.S. Postal Museum. Our accommodation was a welcome home base during our 7 days in Washington DC. Check out was literally easy-peasy. Thank you Selam!

Joys home is absolutely beautiful and in such a great location. This is the second time over stayed here and I look forward to staying again in the future!

Jennifer is a wonderful, kind, responsive, & very accommodating host. Her property has the charm of a historic property with some modern additions. The location is convenient/walkable to downtown Frederick & many shops & restaurants. Other than expected street noise (mostly during rush hours) the property is quiet & peaceful. The private parking is a plus. The fenced backyard w/ lights, grill, & bike storage would be great to hang out during the Spring/Summer. I appreciated updated appliances in the we kitchen, the Smart T.V.'s in each bedroom & living room. The couch in living room is comfy w/ soft blankets provided. The two upstairs bathrooms are nice. One has clawfoot tub & one has heated floors and updated shower rain like shower w/ great water pressure in the other. Plenty of towels/washcloths available. There are lots of windows for light and the upper deck has a nice view for sunsets. The washer/dryer on top level is great. The bedrooms are comfy w/ soft linens. Thank you!!

Grace is an awesome host. The house is in mint condition, the instructions were clear and communication very helpful. Getting in and out was a breeze, and the neighborhood is lovely, yet so near everything you’d want - restaurants, salons, places to walk, coffee shops and more. We can’t wait to go back! It was very nice staying at Stan's cottage. It's like a tiny oasis in this rapid world of technology, and chaos. Very peaceful, quiet, cozy, and clean. CJ greeted us when we arrived, helped us with our bags, and cut fresh flowers for me when we arrived (super sweet). We got great recommendations for restaurants and take out. And finally, it was a true pleasure spending our last minutes with Stan. We enjoyed hearing about his love of travel and of birding...it would have been nice to stay a little longer...we look forward to hearing "the adventures of Stan" someday soon.

This is our fifth time staying here. It is so nice to walk in and feel like we are at home . It is our go to place to stay for our Annapolis visits.

Such a lovely, comfortable home. Everything we needed. Loved the location. The neighborhood was extremely quiet and neighbors were friendly. There's a park with walking trails and lake half a mile walk away. The house was perfect. Relaxing. Comfortable beds and bedding. The record player was an added bonus, as were the puzzles and board games for the rainy days. Communication was excellent. Answered any questions quickly and was very helpful. Would definitely stay here again.

Susan’s home was a wonderful large house for my senior parents, husband, and I to enjoy. Plenty of room to spread out, cook breakfast, and relax when not traveling in to D.C. We really enjoyed the cute, walkable neighborhood and the mature plantings and covered front porch! Easy to get into D.C. on the metro, but finding parking midday at the Takoma station was a little challenging one of the days. Walking to the station works if you are fit, but can be a little hilly for an older person. We also drove in a couple of days. Overall a great place to call home for a few days!

We had a wonderful time staying at the house! Tony is kind and responsive and really cares that guests have a good experience. The little surprises were great, like new cozy wall to wall carpet downstairs, and plenty of bathrooms to accomodate guests. The decorating touches around the house make it feel warm and inviting. Its a lovely quiet neighborhood in a great location!

Leisa’s home suited our needs to a T!! We were in town to attend a wedding at the London Town and Gardens, which was just a half mile away. The rehearsal dinner in downtown Annapolis was also a short distance away. Everything was fresh and clean, the beds were comfortable, and the showers were really great. The lack of seating in the main room wasn’t a problem for us as we didn’t spend much time there during the day. The area around the pool looked really comfortable and inviting for guests staying during the summer season! Would stay there again.

We had the most beautiful Thanksgiving gathering at Casey’s Porch on the bay for an extended family reunion. The house is lovely - spacious, gorgeous and cozy at the same time. The views on the water were amazing. There were plenty of beds and ‘hang out’ spots for our tweens and teens, and 3 private baths for the adult couples were much appreciated. And our hosts could not have been more helpful and friendly. Thank you for giving us this opportunity to make more happy memories together!

We had a great stay at this clean, comfortable, convenient and cozy house. We were impressed by the attention to detail. Every time we needed something, it was there. The kitchen was fully stocked and had everything we needed to cook our Thanksgiving meal. We were close to Annapolis And had an easy drive to the museums of DC. We took several walks to the nearby beach, and enjoyed both sunrises and sunsets. We would definitely come back! Thank you, Peggy!

Great place, nice atmosphere and big with a lot of rooms. Clean and lovely surroundings. I just wish with how big it is, there’s more bath rooms. Hope to come back when its not cold so pool is not cold. 👍🏼

It was simply amazing. Daniel was a fantastic host. The house was incredible. Spacious, beautiful and peaceful felt just like home. The family and I enjoyed every inch of it. Family vacation home for every trip we take to DC.

The property is everything as described and more! We immediately felt at peace and appreciated the wonderful amenities (fully stocked kitchen, sauna, comfortable beds, window views). Duane was a ray of sunshine and incredible host. He stopped by to give us a history of the property and suggestions for enjoying nature. Our walks were relaxing and we enjoyed all the wildlife: birds playing in the morning, a groundhog running about, and busy squirrels. We would certainly stay again when in the area!

I stayed at Will’s property for four nights in March 2025 with a group totaling nine people. Upon arrival, we found the property clean and free of clutter. The property was conveniently located within walking distance to Union Market and the metro, allowing for easy exploration of the greater DC area. Will was an exceptional host, demonstrating prompt, friendly, and professional communication throughout our stay. Will graciously accommodated an early check-in and late check-out, which gave my party extra time to explore the DC area before our departure. I would highly recommend this property for groups of 5-9 people and would gladly return if visiting the area again.
