Larose places to stay

Our stay at Tanei’s home in New Orleans was amazing! The house was very clean, beautifully decorated, and had super comfortable beds. My family and I felt completely safe and loved how quiet and beautiful the neighborhood was. We came for a weekend getaway, and it was perfect. The saltwater pool was a huge hit for my family. I also enjoyed morning walks to the lake and taking in the beautiful views. We didn’t use the fireplace, but the home itself was magnificent. Getting around was easy with Uber; wait times were short, and we were only about 15 minutes from the French Quarter and most attractions. Tanei was incredibly responsive and accommodating, making everything smooth. After a long morning of travel, the welcome snacks and water she left were so thoughtful and appreciated, especially with hungry kids! We truly felt at home and will definitely always book her place when visiting NOLA.

We wanted to be near the WWII museum and the street car on St. Charles. This fit the bill. It's very large. It is directly above a nice restaurant, but we did not notice noise. You walk through a hall that divides the restaurant to get to the door that goes up to the apartment. There is a flight of stairs that was a challenge for the 84 year old in our group, and it was tedious getting luggage and coolers up and down the stairs. Otherwise, excellent place.

Dan’s place, a two bedroom two bath place in a triplex, was just as described. We spent six nights in the end of March. Weather was nice so didn’t have to regulate any extremes that way. AC worked well for the warmer days - especially downstairs. Parking was convenient and a gated driveway was available if street parking is a problem. Close to nice coffee places and restaurants. We even walked into French Quarter one day for a longer excursion. WW2 museum is even closer. Nice to be away from the downtown excitement at night but have easy access. House was clean and comfortable. Thanks Dan and Ale.

This is the second time we stayed at Andrew‘s place. The apartment is great. Very comfortable and perfect uptown location. We would love to come back.

What a gorgeous home! We were just blown away when we checked in and couldn't get over the layout and the character of the place. I wish we had had more time, and I will definitely book this place again next time I visit NO. The Marigny has always been my favorite neighborhood, and Franz's place was just deep in enough to be quiet, away from the lively bars on Frenchman, while being a short walk to all the action. Mostly though, I could have spent the whole visit on the balcony porch drinking coffee. So dreamy!

We had a wonderful weekend stay at Matt and Raymie's property - they were kind, proactive, and friendly hosts. We loved the room which was very clean with all the listed amenities. We had an evening flight and they were kind enough to allow us a late checkout. The neighborhood is a bit out of the way of the main tourist areas which we loved! It let us see a cute and fun neighborhood, and stay out of the main fray. Couldn't recommend highly enough!

Highly recommend Kay’s place for a peaceful New Orleans getaway. It’s tucked away in the most lovely neighborhood and just steps away from many great restaurants and the beautiful Audubon park. Would definitely stay again!

Stay like a local on a quiet street within walking distance of great restaurants and shops. This rental was the perfect home base for us. We especially loved drinking coffee on the front porch and the comfy beds. We hope to rent again from Frankie.

Mike’s place was lovely and cozy, though it’s on the second floor the stairs were on the shallow side so they were easy for our older dog to easily get up and down. The side yard is fully fenced and was just the right size for dogs. The area was lovely and easily walkable to some amazing restaurants and shops on magazine. The street car is only a block away so it made getting to the quarter a breeze. I highly recommend Mike’s place.
