Monthly Rentals in Lancaster

We have stayed at Darrell’s place a number of times and we love it! We love it so much we will be going back! Not only is Darrell a great host, but his home and the setting are both so special. Our kids love it and we love it. This is a unique experience not to be missed.

The house was perfect for two couples, though sharing one bathroom required some scheduling. Nice kitchen. The location is great with an easy walk into town. A quiet neighborhood with private driveway parking added to the relaxing stay. The big plus is that this house is pet friendly. Our host communicate well and made our stay worry free.

We had an amazing 3 nights over NYE at Hyacinth House! There was plenty of space indoors and outdoors for our two families (4 adults, 5 kids). The pictures don’t do the river view, especially the sunsets, justice. We lucked out with perfect weather-a mild rainy first night to enjoy the screened in back porch, glorious remaining days to enjoy the front deck and the dock a lot. We found everything to be in working order and just about everything we needed was there. Our only challenge was navigating the small kitchen with a big group but we made it work! When we had an issue with no dishwasher pods, Maria was very responsive and helpful. We most definitely will look to come back in warmer months when we can fully enjoy all the amenities!

I am running a program out of this home all year long and we have 4 retreats at the property which I'll write a review for each time we stay. We got to experience the season of winter in January complete with a beautiful snowfall the last day of our trip. This time, we got to experience the spring...the season of rebirth. I am grateful for everything the home and land provided to us during this last experience. The home feels like our home while we are there and it has everything we need. Thank you so much!
