This place was awesome. Felt right at home—like one of the family. NOTE: If you like antiseptically trendy, pristine spaces full of faux wood and IKEA furniture, DO NOT stay here. You’ll just complain and give this property less than the five stars it deserves. IF, however, you like places that bring back childhood memories of coming in off the lake so grandma can make you a pj&j, pour you some milk and put camphor on your bug-bites, this is the place. The walls are real wood paneling. The lake is beautiful and serene. There are old boardgames and even older National Geographic magazines in the hall closet. Yes, there is WiFi, Netflix, and a Keurig, but you’ll kinda wish there wasn’t. This is the place to put that behind and step back into simpler, more connected (as in, with FAMILY) times. Stay here with your family. Turn your phones off. Play boardgames, canoe, and swim. We hope to be back again for a longer stay.

What a wonderful, cozy stay! This house feels like a home in the best of ways. Very cozy fireplace, wonderful views of the lake and ducks swimming from the entire back of the house, plus above and beyond gestures of kindness from the host(s). I stayed here recovering from a medical procedure and was welcomed with a “get well soon” card. The house was spotless and full of natural light. Thank you again for the peaceful experience.

This is one of my family’s favorite stays ever! The home was nestled amidst beautiful landscaping and the lake setting was really peaceful. The house was spotless, and decorated beautifully. All the thoughtful necessities for an easy stay were there - coffee, tea and creamer for the morning, board games, thoughtful things like makeup remover pads and qtips, hairdryer, charging stations by the beds. Loved seeing Greta nesting, and watching eagles catch fish while drinking coffee by the lake in the morning. If you are scent sensitive like me - you’re safe here! The home smelled fresh and clean, but no scented cleanser smell or detergent used for the bedding/towels. Hot tub was fabulous too, with clear instructions on use. Autumn was an excellent host! We were in town for a volleyball tournament, and literally didn’t want to go because the house was so awesome! It is a built in vacation. The lake, pickleball, basketball, kayaking and the list goes on. This place is magical and I definitely want to come back soon.

I was astounded at the hospitality given to me and my family during our stay. I could write a book about the friendliness, warmth, understanding, empathy, and phenomenal hospitality we received during our stay. But I will just keep it simple and say that Maria made me feel more than welcome during g a tough period in our lives. Not only did our hosts accommodate us with a timing mishap, they communicated better than any host I’ve ever had when it came to last minute adjustments. I couldn’t be more thankful for such graciousness from an air Bnb host. I truly wish I could meet them and treat them to steak dinners. I would love to keep this home and its hosts to myself for all my future trips to Washington, but that’s not the way this works. I will absolutely be booking this home again and again in the future. This is 5 stars at its finest

This home was so beautiful and comfortable! Our family including two dogs absolutely loved the place! We left one afternoon and did some shopping in a fun little Norwegian Town called Poulsbo, about 30 mins away. Front street has lots of little shops, restaurants and museums. Val, the host, was very helpful as well! We wondered about life vests and she was quick to respond. Overall the home was very clean, comfortable and perfect for us! We would highly recommend!

No ikea furniture, heavenly beds, ultra clean and superb location. Being a fan of cold plunges it couldn’t be better, step out and jump into a 9oC lake (April). Unbeatable view and relaxing atmosphere. If you’re planning on sleeping in, don’t forget your eye mask or sleep in the lower floor. Great location at 15 minutes from the airport and 30 from Tacoma and Seattle. I appreciate people who take good care of their space and ask the same in return. Alex was a splendid host and the house will be our first option when we come back to Seattle. A++ host

This was my second trip back to The Boardwalk. Feels like home away from home as I visit family in Lakebay. Christopher is an awesome host!

Perfect location! This home had lots of private bedrooms making our gathering so easy to do! And you just can’t get enough of the view!

Though we were visiting town under stressful circumstances, after 4 nights staying in this lakefront home I left feeling like I had been at a wellness retreat for weeks! The surroundings were beyond peaceful and my daughter, who is recovering from her 3rd kidney transplant, said she slept better than she has in years and every bit of stress left her body. Waking up to the tranquility of the lake did wonders for her well-being and I can’t thank our host Cindy enough for all the lovely touches and care that went into the design of this space - she truly thought of everything.

We loved staying in this home! Our family wants to come back. Marian and Sara were super responsive and flexible with us. We loved everything about the experience.

Beautiful home! My whole family enjoyed the comfort of this home, especially the hot tub. The fenced yard was great for our little one to run around. We very much enjoyed our stay.

We just purchased a home in this area and needed a place to stay close to it while it gets furnished and this was perfect! It was so quiet and peaceful. The view of the lake is great! The house was very clean, decorated beautifully and super cozy. If we didn’t live just down the street we would stay here again! Mickey was a great host and answered my messages quickly. I had forgotten my purse here after checkout and he worked with me so I could retrieve it. Really great experience. Highly recommend! (I don’t recommend forgetting your purse though 😂).

Our stay was great, everything was clean and just as described. Great little place to stay!

We enjoyed our stay at the lake house. The view of the lake was stunning- especially in the morning at dawn as the sun started to rise. My husband enjoys cooking and he loved the gas stove. The kitchen was stocked with the basics and I appreciated not having to go to the store for coffee. It was chilly a couple of days and we made use of the fireplace in the master bedroom. The other 2 bedrooms were cozy with comfortable beds. The house was decorated nicely and was comfortable and perfect for our needs.

Manjinder’s house was extremely spacious and suited our needs well. This is the second house we’ve used that Manjinder has owned. We appreciated his willingness to come change the heat for our ladies prayer retreat after 10pm. Manjinder you rock 💯🥳🥰

Sites were even better than pictured. Host was super friendly, accommodating, and communicated well. We stayed on a sold out night but didn’t feel like that at all - I don’t think we saw another guest the whole night. App was also very informative, would definitely stay again.

Naili was an excellent host. Very responsive to all questions and inquiries. Very accommodating to me and my family and made our family Thanksgiving get together a reality with her beautiful home. The home is extremely gorgeous and very well kept with beautiful views and very peaceful. Everything was as advertised. I highly recommend staying at Nali’s house.

This was a perfect spot for us and our dogs. The house had everything we needed and more. It was clean and comfortable. Our dogs loved relaxing the the huge fenced yard. Would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful spot! I loved my stay here, everything was perfect, very clear communication, easy check in, and responsive hosts. It’s a unique, special place, and in a wonderful neighborhood for walking and exploring. My favorite things were how much sunlight it got in the morning and hearing the old radiators turn on. :) Hope to be back!

This house was perfect for a weekend getaway from the city for me and a couple of my friends. There was lots of space and the house was very clean with lots of bowls and plates and other kitchen cooking items which was helpful! Heather was very responsive and provided great instructions for the Ferry. I would definitely recommend this house to other friends and family!
