Cabin vacation rentals in Lake Ocoee

Lure lodge was a great place for a girls getaway. It was so beautiful and had so much to offer we only left one time. The lodge was on a dead end country road so you had so much privacy. So many amenities: Hot tub, fire pit, grill, beautiful surroundings with ample seating, a hammock. Tia was always available if we needed any questions answered. The lodge was beautiful as described and we had lots of space to be together or just having alone time. We got in the hot tub, made s’mores in the fire pit, kayaked in the lake. We cooked all of our meals in the well equipped kitchen. We are hoping to come back soon for another girl trip!

This is a beautiful little cabin in the woods ! My 3 kids 6, 3 and 1.5 really made the most of it and enjoyed it very much ! The walk to the lake is doable and they accommodate for everything by providing things like a dish scrubber, wagon, life jackets, this is one of the best rentals I’ve stayed at !

The cabin was great for little weekend getaway. It was very clean and nothing super fancy, perfect for being out in the mountains. Sheena and Nicole were awesome. They responded quickly and gave very clear instructions on everything you could potentially run into. Verizon service worked great but T-Mobile service struggled a bit while off the WiFi. Only little disappointment we had was that the dock had been removed while we were there.

Mikes place is PERFECT! We had a wonderful stay. The location was beautiful, the interior and exterior were spotless… we kept saying how clean it was to each other! Mike was very hospitable and helpful to all of our questions. 10/10 would recommend and would stay again. Thank you Mike!

Beautiful, clean and had a great time

We really enjoyed our stay at Tim’s cabin. The cabin was easy to find and not too far from anything we needed to get to in town. We enjoyed being on the porch listening to the river & our many naps on the swing. The cabin itself was cozy & great for a couple. Would stay again!

Beautiful location on the Toccoa. We loved the wood burning stove on a chilly, rainy night. The outdoor firepit was perfect for sitting around and roasting hotdogs. Nora was extremely kind and helpful. We didn’t want yo go home and thankfully we were able to stay an extra night.

My family has stated at this location numerous times since 2018. Situated on a small man-made lake in Cherry Log, the setting is very serene. We've stayed at a few of the cabins surrounding this lake and we generally prefer this location. The current owner (Corey) took over in 2021/2022 and has maintained the charm of the cabin and has made some upgrades (new furnishings, games, improved kayaks, and I believe an improved firepit). His communication was top-notch when my wife had a question about the location upon arrival. We would definitely look to stay again in the near future.

We enjoyed our stay at Krystal’s cabin. Very convenient distance to Helen, yet private and peaceful. Very comfortable bed and loved the fireplace and hot tub! We would def come back!

Very lovely cabin, extremely peaceful with great amenities ! I had a good time here. The decor is nice. Despite a few things, such as that the cabin does look slightly bigger in the photos + there are a few other cabins/homes in view (expected it to be a lot more isolated/private), I still rate this a 5/5! The cabin is in range of plenty other northern cities or even other states! It was great to be able to walk down the road to see the horses, and then further down some friendly goats and cows!

We had a very relaxing and peaceful birthday getaway :) Would recommend staying here! The location is nice and not too far from lots of things to do and the host was so helpful and accommodating. We felt very safe and comfortable!

It was a nice and cozy place to stay! We enjoyed being so close to Mercier Apple Orchards and near downtown Blue Ridge!

Had a great time at this nice cozy cabin. Would definitely go back! Was perfect for a getaway with friends. Michael was extremely responsive and helpful.

We had a wonderful time at Asheli and Cam’s place. The location is absolutely stunning and peaceful, we didn’t want to leave. The home was very clean and comfortable for our family. Our favorite spot was the fire pit on the river. We did have an issue with the gas fireplace not working, but they tried their best to resolve the situation during our stay. The listing does need to be updated with regard to the grills. We had hoped to use the gas grill pictured in the listing, but only the charcoal grill was available for use. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

Loved the cabin! Location was great - about 10 minutes from Blue Ridge. The screened deck with gas grill and patio heater made hanging outside nice even though it was raining pretty much the whole time we were there. View from the house was beautiful, and sound of the brook behind the house was very relaxing. We were able to end the evenings relaxing in the hot tub...Great place to get away and have some much needed relaxation. We would definitely rent from Ronnetta again! :)

The cabin was beautiful and nestled right in the mountains. It was clean and quiet and so peaceful. There is a rooster who crowed "politely" 😆... only 3 crows, not loud at all, at sunrise. If you want to hear him, you'll need to be "up before the rooster crows" so you can be outside and watch the sunrise or you'll miss it, his crow, and the experience 😉 The hot tub was nice to relax in and just what we needed on our Anniversary. We can't recommend any restaurant since we always cook ourselves but we heard they were excellent. The small town of Blue Ridge is not too far away and the local shops are not to be missed! You've gotta try Three Sisters Fudge! YUM! Jason was a great host and made our first getaway in many years, rememberable and comforting. We didn't want to leave. The price was well fitting and as hard as we both work, made it affordable for us, blue collar folk, to have a getaway that left a lasting impression. We will definitely be returning. Hopefully soon!

I absolutely loved my stay here. The drive is definitely hilly but the road is paved, so no problems there. The house was clean and cozy and the beds comfortable. My favorite part was relaxing on the screened porch while the rain gently fell and I could hear all the toads from the nearby pond. There’s some close-by neighbors but the trees afford privacy and the elevation made us feel well above everything. We enjoyed the outdoor fire pit one night while we roasted hot dogs and smores and star gazed. The best part of course is the fenced yard. My dog Darla had so much more space to chase the ball than our yard in the burbs and my older dog Gus loved patrolling the perimeter, spying on squirrels and wood peckers. We will absolutely come here again the next time we need a break from the city.

The cabin has a cozy feeling and is located nice and secluded at the end of a neighborhood, with plenty of privacy. Due to the weather we did not get to enjoy the outside but the bonfire looks like a great place to sit outside with family or friends. When booking, we didn’t realize the upstairs bedroom does not have a door, although this did not bother us because it was just my wife and I. We would go definitely come back here. Host was friendly and easy to communicate with.

My wife and I visited for a long weekend. The home was very clean and a convenient location to town and scenic areas. James + Nicole were very responsive. They kept in touch with us to see if we needed anything and wanted to make our stay the best it could be. The stairs back up to the house from the river are long but made well. It was definitely worth the trip down to the river. The covered deck is amazing. We brought our hammocks and placed them next to the water. The sounds of the flowing river and the quiet nature was exactly what we were looking for. The views from the back porch and bedroom French doors are so amazing. Opening the doors and feeling the breeze early in the morning is the best way to start the day. The kitchen was functional and had a great stock of utensils, spices, and cookware. We highly recommend this cabin and would certainly consider staying there again.

Our family thoroughly enjoyed staying at this cabin. A great place to stay for a large family with plenty of games and things to do while on the grounds. The location was also perfect, not too far from things to do. The host was very friendly, responsive and helpful. We would definitely come back!

Instructions were clear. Owner responded quickly and helpful with any issue I had. Very friendly. Also it’s a very private and makes you feel at home. The entire cabin was beautiful and had everything we needed!!

The perfect getaway for my husband & I on our honeymoon!! Close to Blue Ridge & anything we needed but also private with a gorgeous view. The kitchen was a highlight for breakfast with a view & the hot tub was so peaceful at night. The hosts were so proactive, easy to communicate with and checked in multiple times. Overall a great place to stay!

I cannot recommend this place more if you are looking for a cozy, clean, and beautiful mountain getaway. The cabin is just a short drive from pretty hikes and yummy restaurants, but in our opinion we could've had just as much fun just staying in the cabin all weekend! I've never been to an air bnb that was so well-stocked, from seasonings, to extensive kitchenware, to fun soaps, to games, to yoga mats, to books/magazines, to essential oils- you name it, they probably have it! The place was beautiful, and the little touches really made it feel like a home away from home. On top of this, Allison was probably the most friendly host I've ever had. Wish we could've stayed longer!
