Lake Michigan vacation rentals

There were 4 adults staying for Labor Day weekend. We had more than enough room for all. We have vacationed together for years. We all agreed this was one of the nicest places we have ever stayed. So well put together and everything you could ever need. The yard was beautiful, the deck had beautiful views of the lake. The furniture was very comfy and there was nothing more we could have wanted.

The Lake Cottage was exactly as pictured - clean, nostaglic, modernized amentities and loads of vintage charge. We booked last minute for a New Years Eve hurrah with my husband and two children (ages 3 & 8), and my only regret is not staying longer. We snowboarded, ice-fished, played board games, did puzzles... and simply enjoyed our time together. It was restorative and the cottage is conducive to slowing down and savoring each moment. The property (albiet Winter) was spacious and felt private, tucked down the long(er) drive with a single neighbor in sight. Elizabeth, the host, was incredibly responsive and helpful. 10/10, will probably book again!

We loved the drive back to the house!! We saw families of deer crossing the lane!! The deck overlookimg the lake was beautiful and we watched the ducks and bevers!! Perfect place to get some much needed R&R!!

This stay was very nice. I’m an outdoor person and it definitely did not disappoint. We enjoyed the bonfire with family, even though it was cold we did use the kayak, and she had everything needed to grill out with my loved ones. It was in a peaceful, private location and neighbors were friendly. Beds were very comfy and clean! I made sure to pick up and leave it just how it was when we arrived. Thanks again! 😊

My family had a great time here. Highly recommend! Very responsive and was a fun time. The beach is very close and quiet, overall very happy with our vacation!

This house was perfect for our group! There were plenty of beds for all of us, plenty of extra air mattresses to use and tons of extra linens and towels. The rooms were clean and cozy. The living space was warm and inviting and the kitchen was STOCKED with anything we could have needed! The house was clean and ready for us - even a little earlier than planned! Jeff was a fabulous host to work with. From the day we reached out to inquire about the property, he was responsive, friendly and helpful. The highlight of our weekend was spending the beautiful sunny day outside - looking at the water and relaxing with friends. There was plenty of comfortable seating outside - including a fire pit that we used to make s’mores one evening. Some of us took out the canoe and enjoyed our time on the beautiful lake. Our group lives about 50 mins away and we truly felt like we were far from home on vacation! I highly recommend this property and would definitely work with Jeff again in the future!

Very beautiful the photos don’t do justice to the home. Very responsive host and we liked it so much we stayed an extra day. Its out of the way and peaceful but just a short drive down HWY 50 and you have everything.

Cozy cabin in a good location

This was our third year staying at Chris’s cottage. The cottage was spotless as always, equipped with snacks, water, plenty of towels and amenities. The cottage is on Fish Lake, beautiful and peaceful but also fun to watch all of the water activities and wildlife. The weather was perfect. The mark of a fantastic place and location is never having to turn on the TV to pass the time. We will be back next year if it’s available! Thank you, Chris!

We loved our stay at the 3 little cottages! It has everything we needed and more. The lakeside area was perfect for our kids. We enjoyed the use of kayaks as well. The cottages were clean and comfortable and had all basic amenities covered. We enjoyed all the extra toys provided in the shed. Lori was so helpful and friendly. We were so sad to leave and can not wait to come back next year!

Our family of 5 had a great stay at Gary’s place. The lake, the pontoon, paddle boards and pedal boat were used daily. It is private and quiet. There are plenty of life vests and even some large inner tubes you can take out on the water. The floating dock and lily pad were covered in goose poop while we were there so we didn’t use them. The house was comfortable and had more amenities than most air BNBs we’ve stayed at. Our favorite spot (besides being on the water) was drinking coffee and reading on the covered porch! Would recommend to families!!

From the moment we arrived, it was clear that this house was exactly what we had been hoping for. This lake house on Big Fish Lake was perfect for our family getaway. Nestled in a quiet neighborhood, it offered a peaceful escape with ample space for everyone. The house was comfortable and well-equipped, and the pier was a fantastic spot for fishing and enjoying the lake. A standout feature was the screened-in porch, ideal for morning coffee or evening relaxation. Overall, this property exceeded our expectations with its blend of comfort, convenience, and scenic beauty. A delightful extra was the water toys that came included with the rental. Highly recommended for a relaxing family retreat!

Excellent host, Michael & Kelly were so nice. Check in & check out was easy. The cabin was exactly as described in the listing. It is a great place for family and children. The lake is quiet and they have canoeing, kayaks as well as fishing. I recommend this resort for relaxing lakeside experiences. The shopping in Charlevoix, Petosky, Glen Arbor and Traverse City was better than Door Country. The beaches along the coastlines were also a must see.

This place is far more beautiful in person! I highly recommend it! Super clean, SO many activities to do, you really don’t need to bring much because they provide basically everything essential! The host is also amazing! Super nice! We will definitely be coming back!

Meg and Rita should be elevated to above “Superhost”. The little pink house is clean quiet and nicely decorated. All hosts should be as responsive and thoughtful. Every wall switch was labeled to let me know which switch operated each particular light or room. AND every wall socket was fitted with an adapter outlet which was so helpful when traveling with multiple chargers for multiple devices. A great stay. I will definitely stay again.

The house had plenty of room for my family of 10. We truly appreciated all of the extra things to do at the house. The pool table/ping pong table was a hit for the young adults. The fact that they had enough kayaks that the young adults could go out in a group was a huge plus. The only negative I would say is the amount of lily pads in front of the house didn’t allow for swimming off the dock or fishing. Obviously this is not the fault of the owner so we made the best of it.

Mike’s place is great for hosting a family get together. It is spacious and well supplied. Mike was especially accommodating when our plans planned with a family urgency and snowy weather.

Clean and cute place. My wife and friends stayed for a girls weekend. House was nice and in a decent neighborhood.

Need to spend a night in the Racine/Kenosha area and stumbled upon this gem! There were four of us and our little dog and it was perfect. I think each of us said, “it’s too bad we’re not staying for another night!” The pictures don’t really do it justice but Mindy’s house is homey, comfortable, and spotless! The kitchen was well-equipped, beds were comfy, and the backyard/river view is wonderful. Thank you Mindy!

Great house for our stay while visiting family. It was a very clean and comfortable house. Waylan was very quick to reply to any questions we had. We will definitely book again next time we're in Battle Creek.
