Vacation rentals with a fireplace in LaGrange County

Great home away from home while our home was being repaired following a fire. Owner was very understanding and cooperative about extending our stay due to construction delays.

Noemi was very friendly and caring, she was very responsive and accommodating to all the questions and requests I had. The house looked like a beautiful and interesting museum, so much history! This was one of the best Airbnb experiences I've had. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable stay. I can’t wait to book again the next time I’m in the area!

Even though we only live 45 minutes away from this location and we have been to this area multiple times, staying at this farmstead gave us a whole new perspective of the peaceful country life. We enjoyed seeing the goats and sheep in the pasture behind the house. The quiet at night here was so intense (in a good way) that you can feel it. And another reviewer said they counted 45 buggies going by. We now have a new record of 71 buggies going by the house just during our three day stay. Thehome was spacious, clean and comfortable with amenities that made it feel homey, but without feeling like you were intruding in someone else’s home. And I really appreciate the way that the host lets you rent the number of bedrooms you need so you don’t have to pay for extra bedrooms you don’t need. I wish more Airbnb hosts did the same because we usually end up paying for a place that sleeps way more people because we like the extra space of a whole house. I highly recommend this home.

Courtney is a fantastic host. The house has so many useful amenities and is designed perfectly. So many spots to gather without feeling crowded. Kitchen, bathroom and bedrooms have everything you could possibly need. The fire pit in the backyard is a great space to hang out in the evening. This was a special occasion and Courtney made it so all went perfectly. 10/10 would recommend!

Myself and some girl friends from college had a great stay! We had everything we needed, plenty of towels, blankets and pillows for all 5 of us. More then enough space for all of us to hang out together. We had a maintenance need and the maintenance guy was able to come very quickly and get it resolved for us.

what a beautiful home! our family of 8 had plenty of room for our stay and wanted or needed nothing. The owners are amazing and thought of so many details and things to have on hand ..just in case. The owner even helped carry our things in amd was just absolutely so welcoming. and the view out the kitchen window watching the cows in the pasture just made even better views.

Our stay at Channelside Lake House was absolutely fantastic! The space was spotless, beautifully decorated, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Trish and Leon were incredibly welcoming and responsive, ensuring an enjoyable experience. The location was perfect—beautiful and peaceful. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay and would absolutely book again. We Highly Recommend!

April and Jon were outstanding hosts. Friendly couple dedicated to deliver a cozy environment. Place is really beautiful and spacious, located in a nice area with lots of things to do around!

This was our second stay at Wildwood and it was just as lovely as the first time. We wanted to spend some time in Shipshewana, Middlebury and Goshen and this location is perfect for all those places. It's so peaceful and has everything you could need. The cookies Lynette leaves are DELISH and she's so quick to respond if you should need anything. I'm sure we'll be back again some day!

My friends and I stayed here for our girls Christmas and winter birthdays. It's super cute and cozy. The toilet wasn't working properly but it was very easy to get ahold someone and it was taken care of immediately. We could also hear people walking in the apartment above until pretty late. Not a problem for us as we stayed up until after midnight. Overall we loved it and would consider booking again!
