What a great place. Stephen was fantastic and a great communicator. The place was lovely. Bright, comfortable and cozy. We felt at home right away. Loved the outdoor space, the view and the chairs right by the water. The ice had just gone out so we couldn't swim, but we all talked about how great it would be to swim off that dock and use all the water toys. We all agreed it was the perfect getaway. We also all agreed that Stephen has thought of everything - clear instructions, great notices, all the things you need in a kitchen etc. It is clear that he knows what he is doing!

Very responsive host, easy to communicate with! When something is missed by the cleaner, frank was able to help us with solution. The place is very quiet and peaceful, very recommend for small families.

We booked Leigh's cottage at the last minute for our 37th wedding anniversary. She was very prompt in responding and answered all our questions immediately. From the moment we walked in we knew our stay was going to be special. Clear and pricise instructions on how to use everything in the home. So much so that we had no issues and didn't need to contact her throughout our stay as the manuals provides were very clear. The cottage is well appointed with everything you need. Exactly as described BUT even better. Beautiful open concept with a very comfortable feeling. The back of the cottage facing the river has slidding doors the entire wall so the outside comes in. There is a cute gazebo right on the water which was a lovely setting for a special dinner. The hot tube was the icing on the cake! Right off the master bedroom and private. I can't say enough about how spotless this place is. Every room is tastefully decorated and bed was super comfy. We will definately come back!

What a great location for a cottage! The included boats (canoes & kayaks) are really nice. We went in late October (end of the season) and the neighborhood was nearly deserted. We were often the only people out on the lake. It takes about 20-25 minutes to paddle over to one of the several waterfront restaurants in Port Severn. Trevor's communications were very precise and easy to follow. Only negative comment concerns the well water. It's not just high in minerals, it is so high in minerals that it smells terrible and you really don't want to shower in it.

Rachel was a great host. Answered any question I had and was flexible with time. The place was beautiful, great outdoor space and backyard. Sitting on the boathouse every morning looking at the lake was exactly why we booked here. Highly recommend, would definitely come here again!

My family couldn’t have asked for a better getaway. As far as bang for your buck goes you can’t do better. Andrew and Hali were exceptional hosts, very responsive and helpful anytime we had questions. Everything was very clean, bedrooms and furniture throughout were very comfortable. My boys would absolutely love to come back, and we’d highly recommend this place for anyone wanting a seamless experience on a beautiful lake. Thank you for such a great experience!

Had a great stay during a long weekend with my girlfriend. The place was clean, the view was gorgeous, and the public access point was great for people watching. Met the owners and they were very friendly too.

We had an amazing stay at Navid’s place! I came with two of my girlfriends and from the moment we arrived, it felt like home. The cottage is cozy, modern, and beautifully designed—literally everything you could possibly think of is available. The neighborhood is quiet and safe, and Navid was super responsive and helpful throughout our stay. We genuinely didn’t want to leave and are already planning to come back soon. Highly recommend!

This was our family's second stay at the house. The cottage has everything you can ask for, all the amenities a beautiful waterfront and all comforts. Not to mention two saunas and a hot tub. Steve and Irena are great hosts and make us feel right at home every time we stay over. It's always a very enjoyable stay!

Becky’s cottage is perfect for a family stay in Muskoka. The cottage is incredibly well designed and appointed with tons of small touches that make the stay outstanding. Both the main cottage and side cottage provide ample space for all parties and the outdoor space from docks to patios give everyone tons of space to enjoy the outdoors. Really enjoyed our stay at this very clean, nicely furnished, well equipped and nicely located cottage. Loved reading and having a morning coffee on the dock. Nice quiet lake. Not too long a drive.

We had a great time. Sir Sam’s ski hill nearby. Hot tub was great for those days when ski hill was not an option. There is fast internet at the cottage. Very private and quiet. We enjoyed our stay.

We loved this cottage and this is our second visit this time of the year. There is beautiful large table to serve meals, spacious kitchen with plenty of storage place and 2 fridges. Cozy atmosphere with a wood burning fireplace and an additional playroom/ family room. There is plenty of outdoor activities including walking, skiing (Sir Sam’s is nearby), cross country skiing or skating. We really enjoyed our stay and highly recommend it.

Had a very nice weekend at Christina's cottage. The place is beautifully decorated and very comfortable to hang out in. The kitchen was well equipped for cooking and there's a grocery store 10min away that had everything we needed. There's also a decent restaurant just a block away when we didn't feel like cooking. A few things weren't functioning due to the big ice storm just a few days earlier, but Christina was quick to respond to messages and had someone there to fix things within the hour. There was a little more snow still around than I expected for April, so we didn't use the outdoor amenities very much, but the sauna was still really nice. Port Carling is pretty quiet this time of year, but we did find a few nice hikes nearby to enjoy the scenery.

Our stay at Addie's cottage was delightful. The place was clean, well-furnished, and equipped with all the necessary utensils. Both hot and cold water pressure was excellent, creating a cozy and warm atmosphere. The bedrooms were tidy and comfortable. Addie proved to be very responsive and helpful, enhancing our experience. However, we encountered a few minor issues: 1) We discovered and eliminated several small cockroaches in the kitchen, particularly around the garbage cabinet. 2) The dining chairs were deteriorating, leaving lots of tiny pieces on our clothing when we used them. 3) The non-functional hot tub was a surprise upon arrival. Although mentioned in the listing, we missed it and so suggest making it more prominent, perhaps in the title, as the photos and description led us to expect a working hot tub. This could also be Airbnb's fault, since I specifically selected the "hot tub" option during my search, clearly indicating a preference for a property with a working hot tub.

We rented Amanda's place for 2 nights in the winter and it surpassed our expectations! Amanda was a great communicator. The older cottage has been extensively renovated, it was clean, comfortable and cozy. We loved the wood stove and the heating system worked well. The kitchen is first-rate, and very well-equipped, it even had decent knives! We cook a lot and we very much enjoyed making meals there. We loved watching the ever-changing weather on the river from the picture window in the living room, and even saw a beautiful sunrise. The star of our stay was the sauna—we have a wood-burning sauna at home and at our cottage—and we were very impressed with its size, the modern design, the huge picture window and the style of stove. It got up to temperature even in -17 degree weather. We hiked and snowshoed in the Alexander Hope Smith Nature Reserve which was a walk from the cottage. The town of Washago was a 11 minute drive, with a great grocery store. Would definitely stay there again!

this is the second time we’ve stayed here for our family reunion. it has everything we needed. super comfortable and clean. we cooked every night and the kitchen served us well. we’ll be back.

Brett was an awesome host. Was always super responsive and helpful. His cottage was such a relaxing time for my family and I. The backyard was very private and great for my dog to run around in. We enjoyed fishing, canoeing, and using the fire pit!

My family and I had a great stay at Kestas for four nights. We were a big group and found ample space for socialization and great sleeping accommodations. The cottage was a steep stairway down just as described in the listing, be mindful to unload your things and walk down the steps. The lake and the surroundings were beautiful. Kesta was a responsive host and was able to address any concerns or questions quickly. I would highly recommend booking!

This place was amazing and very clean.. They had almost everything we need. I really loved this place and we enjoyed kayaking, canoeing, playing ping-pong and also we enjoyed staying outside with our bonfire. The best part was the hot tub we had time to sat in the hot tub while talking great memories with friends. I highly recommend this place to those families that need peaceful and enjoyable vacation or time off like us.. We drove 5 hours from Windsor and my friends drove 3 hours from Ottawa... The 2 kids were having fun playing with the arcade.... Thanks to the host...
