Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Klickitat County

This was our second time staying at the Roost, and we loved it even more than the first time! The house has all the necessary things, plus even more! It's in a great location and the design and decoration are wonderful! We would definitely stay there again.

We had a group of 6 at the house and this worked about very nicely. Beautiful property, comfortable beds, and nice furnishings. Michelle was also very responsive before and during our trip. Would rent again.

We had a great stay at this home! The host was friendly, always available, and very supportive. When the heating system had an unexpected issue at the beginning of our stay, he put in a lot of effort to resolve it. Even though the issue couldn’t be fixed with part replacements, he quickly provided heaters for each room, turned on the fireplace on the first floor, and ensured we had unlimited wood to keep warm. Thanks to his prompt response, we were still able to enjoy our stay comfortably. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and we truly appreciated the host’s hospitality!

Great space, very comfortable, squeaky clean, quiet. Would definitely stay again when returning to Hood River.

My sister and I have stayed at Twin Oakes a number of times now and we just really love the gorgeous, peaceful setting. The house is clean and well appointed.

Amazing location! Jacob was super friendly and communicative. We ended up getting 6 inches of snow up there and had a blast sledding down the hills with our kids. Would love to come back again sometime!

The place was everything it promised. Great views! All kinds pf games/ping pong to play. Hot tub was wonderful. We would definitely come again

I loved this location and the house served our purposes perfectly. Very close to several gorgeous hikes, short drives to The Dalles and Hood River for restaurants, and the view of the Columbia River was stupendous. We really were comfortable and enjoyed our visit to Oregon very much because of the chance to stay here.

This was our second stay at the Smallfoot Farm. The hosts are lovely and helpful. The space is what we need and is very comfortable. Highly recommend and we'll be back!

Tonia's place is a great find in White Salmon. Great location, quiet, clean and Tonia is very easy to communicate with. Definitely recommend for your next visit to White Salmon.

My wife and I stayed here while we were visiting for a wedding. It was the perfect getaway for those who want to explore the surrounding area but have a clean, private space to sleep. We would absolutely stay here again!

we enjoyed our stay very much, after our afternoon iin the car how wonderful if was to kick off our shoes on the back pourch in two rocking chairs and to listen to the river flow. Our room was very clean, the host was very helpful and responded quickly to our only issue, we needed more sugar. Couldn't have been any happier with our selection and strongly recommend Karey's to all in the area

The view did not disappoint! Wonderful little slice of the PNW, great location and a relaxing stay. As mentioned in other reviews, WiFi did not work- bring your own hotspot!

Responsive host and beautiful view from the apartment. The EV charging on site was a nice convenience. Walking distance to White Salmon’s restaurants, bars, grocery store, etc. Be aware you will need to climb 3 flights of stairs to get to the apartment so may not be suitable for everyone.

Laura & Donny are great hosts! The rental has everything you'll need. Very comfortable, welcoming to my dog, and I loved harvesting tomatoes & zucchini from the garden.

Theresa’s place is in a great location for a Hood River adventure! We didn’t spend much time there, since there are so many great places to walk to. There’s a bit of road noise, but she has earplugs available. The bed is firm and there are plenty of pillows. There’s tea, coffee, oatmeal, and snacks! She also provides some lovely smelling shower supplies.

Spacious comfortable condo with awesome Columbia river views. Well appointed kitchen with everything you need. Antiques and interesting art. Clean and good info from our hosts. The highway and train are in view below but didn’t bother us. Close to great wildflower hikes.

This location is the perfect spot for walkability to all downtown Hood River offers! Cute and smartly decorated with all your needs available. Loved the back covered patio too. Perfect spot for morning coffee! It was great having the two bathrooms so two people can get ready at once. Generous sized bedroom and two tvs also! Fast internet if you need to get some work done. The dining table was great size because you could easily seat 4 people or pull it out to seat six OR dine on the covered patio! We will be back!

This was our second stay at Elizabeth's place for my husband's b-day. We hardly ever go to a place a second time. We just love how comfortable and peaceful the surroundings are.

Lyudmila and Jim are terrific hosts! We had a great stay at their condo in Hood River. The location is great - right on the main street of Hood River (Oak St.) located near all sorts of restaurants and shops - there's even a nice coffee shop right downstairs. The big windows allow you to look out over Oak St. and see the pretty shops below. The condo itself is spacious, well appointed, and very clean! The hosts are very communicative and friendly. We had a wonderful time at this property and will be back!

Was a pleasant stay, many thanks… had to call to get my code for door , the ap didn’t update with that info until after we left, but all was good onsite!

Overall, the condo was very nice and the location was excellent! Easy walking distance to everything in downtown Hood River and directly above a wonderful coffee shop/bakery. Mary was very responsive and helpful. The one item that could use some additional explanation in the condo description was the bedrooms. The beds were very comfortable but there was very limited privacy. The bedroom walls are 3/4 walls with a large space between the top of the wall and the ceiling. The bedrooms also do not have doors but have hanging drapes. As I said, the overall comfort was excellent but with two teenage boys, my husband and I felt our privacy was limited.

We had a great experience! This Airbnb was very clean and accessible. The view is beautiful! We felt right at home. We walked to the local restaurant, MoCo, only a 6 minute walk. They had great food and atmosphere. Would definitely stay here again when we return to the area. Thank you Jessica for having an amazing place and being quick to respond!
