Monthly Rentals in Kleppjárnsreykir

The cabin we stayed in at Guðbjörg’s farm was EXACTLY what we were looking for. It is not far from Borgarnes where there are stores and excellent restaurants, but is secluded in a beautiful valley. The skies were dark and we were lucky enough to see great Northern Lights. It was the perfect size for our family of 4 to rest and relax, and our kids loved the loft area. We will have not hesitation in recommending this place for others!

Heidi and Rob are excellent hosts. We enjoyed our stay so much. The home is beautiful and well equipped. They provided directions with photos to get to Nes that were very helpful. We will be staying at one of their homes again when coming back to Iceland!!!!! Thank you!!!

We loved Rebecca’s place - really warm and welcoming as soon as you step inside and the views are amazing. It was snowing when we arrived and it snowed heavily overnight, so we were glad of our wee 4x4 with its snow tyres, when we eventually ventured out for food and provisions. The road to the cottage is very challenging in the snow and ice. The cottage itself is well equipped and very comfortable - we both slept really well. All in all, we highly recommend Rebecca’s place - we spent a lot more time there than we do in most airbnbs due to the weather - it’s a lovely place to relax.
