We had a very interesting experience at Hanthanapitiya Walawwa! Prabath, the caretaker, was very welcoming, and he did a wonderful job of sharing the history of the house and Victoria Lake with us. The property itself is fascinating and full of unexpected surprises, not to mention the stunning views! We will definitely be back again!

The home was spotlessly clean, very spacious, and incredibly comfortable. It had everything needed, especially in the fully equipped kitchen, which made cooking so easy and convenient. The overall setup of the house was thoughtful and cozy, making it feel like a true home away from home. On top of that, the scenery from the house was absolutely beautiful—peaceful, relaxing, and the perfect backdrop for a getaway. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing and well-equipped stay. Thank you for such a lovely experience!

Our host couple Indira and Lakshman are very attentive and helpful people whose hospitality comes from the heart. We stayed for six weeks in their beautiful house, which is situated in a lovely garden on a hill in Sirimalwatta. Our flat with kitchen and two bedrooms also has a terrace where we always had our meals as a family of four. We liked it so much that we will be staying here again temporarily on our next visit to Sri Lanka in the autumn. Lakshman also helped my husband a lot with one of his local projects and arranged an appointment for him with the local governor.

We really enjoyed our stay here, the views were amazing and the property provided a spacious place for us to unwind and relax.
