We enjoyed our stay at Debbie’s place. The backyard was my favorite. The water and the view were so peaceful. The weather was perfect which made being outside even better. The master bed was comfortable and it had a big bathroom that was super clean (the shower was a bit slippery probably due to water softener?). We didn’t cook, but the kitchen was well stocked. The couches are a bit old and a little saggy which wasn’t good for my husband as he has a bad back, but using some throw pillows helped. Overall, it was very enjoyable. Would love to stay again.

Beautiful lakeside location. The home was very cozy and comfortable- everything worked well. The lake was low when we were there but still really pretty. Owner was great about answering questions about our stay prior to our arrival as well.

We were comfortable from the moment we walked through the door of this house. It's welcoming with an ideal balance of private and communal space, inside and out. The kitchen had everything we needed, so over three days we ate every meal at the house. We didn't always need to cook because there was prepared food within a few minutes' drive. Susan provided plenty of suggestions for groceries, restaurants, and activities at Veterans State Park. We all slept great and attribute that to the quality of the bedding and mattresses as well as the sense of peace in the neighborhood. We spent evenings working on a puzzle enjoying a cozy fire and the fairy lights around the mantle. The wifi allowed remote work. Susan communicated well and was quick to respond to questions. She was personable and welcoming. We look forward to returning in warmer weather when we can take advantage of the pool and spend more time on the dock watching the sunset. We couldn't be happier with our stay. Thanks, Susan!

Amazing place to stay! Very appreciative of the host make the team feel like home. Beautifully decorated, clean and never ran out of hot water. Even down to the little details of the small bottle waters left out! Would highly recommend and stay there again!!

We had a great experience at the house. There was plenty of living space, a comfy couch and dining area. It was nice to have a full kitchen and laundry, too. Our favorite thing was to relax out on the big deck surrounded by nature. Pine Mountain is a peaceful place to unwind and just a short drive down to town for food and shopping.

This was the perfect place to stay for our trip. Everything was clean and as described in the listing. The location was convenient and not far from Fort Benning (where we were visiting). The owners were very responsive and helpful regarding any questions I had. It was a pleasure staying there, and I would stay there again in the future.

If you’re looking for a peaceful and serene location this is it. The grounds were absolutely STUNNING! Great little spot to stay for our out of town wedding. The house is adorable and has everything you need. The beds were cozy and everything was clean. The swimming pond was a huge hit. It’s truly a beautiful place. And for an added bonus, there’s Maggie (sweet and friendly pup). She was a great little surprise. We loved hanging out with her in the mornings with our coffee on the porch.

We stayed in Columbus, GA for our sons graduation from basic training at Fort Benning. The location was perfect being less than 15 min from base. Mercedes was amazing with quick responses and understanding that we wanted to maximize the time with our son. Her home felt like home and my son enjoyed the comfort after 10 weeks of training! Staying at Megan's was wonderful It is so peaceful in the woods... The, home itself was super comfortable and everything was so clean and new and being able to cook and watch TV on the huge screen was fabulous. The beds were very comfortable and I had some peaceful rest and also the bath tub is HUGE !!! I would highly recommend staying at this home and I have stayed in many as i travel for my company and this is in my TOP 5 !! Please don't hesitate just book it ..I am staying again in 2 weeks !! We loved the house for our stay. Close to Fort Moore. Beds were comfortable. House was clean. Enjoyed our stay, and it looked exactly like the pictures. Amy was quick to respond when I needed to add an additional night to our stay.

This is the second time we have rented this home from Doris. The house was great and accommodated our large family. It’s very close and conveniently located to Fort Benning. We had to make several trips back and forth to the fort for our son’s graduation ceremonies and were grateful to be so close! Doris is a wonderful host and great person! I accidentally left some of my clothes in the nightstand and Doris shipped them to me and refused to let me reimburse her for her time or shipping costs! I cannot say enough about how kind she has been each time we rented from her!!
