Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam vacation rentals

The condo itself, the pool, and the beach outside the condo are wonderful. Spectacular sunsets and a pristine beach. The condo is very nice with everything we needed for a very comfortable stay. The only downside is the large homeless population in the area. Very sad. We drove each day to other parts of the island and then returned in the afternoon to walk the beach and lay by the pool. Charmaine is a wonderful host.

I am counting down the days until I am able to come back to VioletRae’s place. As a solo traveler I felt very safe and the location was amazing. Everything was spot on and the host really communicated well and was there for my questions!

Excellent location. Just a block to the popular swimming beaches and main tourist ocean front road. A convenient ABC store right next door and tons of restaurants nearby. Sean’s place is spotless clean. More provided amenities than you would think of. Coffee, tea, toothpaste, shampoo, conditioner, laundry detergent… even some snacks. Very well thought out. I would greatly recommend it.

Great price for the location - close to everything and only a couple blocks from the beach. Place was easy to find and get up to and the room was clean and cozy. Hosts gave great information and checked in to make sure we had everything we needed. Would happily stay again!

An absolutely beautiful apartment with an even more spectacular view. Walking distance to the beach and plenty of malls and shops nearby.

Peter’s place is excellent for a couple. There’s an outdoor closet on the balcony with everything you would need for the beach. Papaoneone beach is absolutely spectacular. We saw whales in the distance (mid April). Saw turtles frequently. Snorkeled with the turtles. Went crazy with my gopro. The surf breaks rough and this beach is not for kids younger than teenagers in my opinion. The pool is great. Hot tub is small but great. Rec room is great. We played a lot of ping pong. I would rent it again. Only downside is the homeless population on the west side of Oahu combined with the overall poverty of the area. It’s totally third world just north of electric beach and goes all the way up to Yokohama beach. So we weren’t sure how long we could leave our car unattended in the public areas. We felt secure with the gating system at the condo . It’s unbelievable that the state of Hawaii lets the west side go like that. The beaches are gorgeous. Electric beach was the best snorkel we had.

Great trip and wonderful condo. Plenty of space for our family of four, but we probably could have comfortably accommodated 2 adults and 4 kids. Nice to have all of the items like soap/shampoo, paper towels, trash bags, and toilet paper. I was worried as some properties try to nickel and dime you, but this place was great. Beautiful views of Diamond Head and the ocean. Pool and hot tub were easily accessible and had security present. Parking included was a huge bonus, and made the stay more valuable than the Hilton and Marriott we were originally looking at. One huge concern was being on the 35th floor and the nightmare of elevators taking forever, but this unit had some of the best elevators we’ve ever experienced. Never waited more than 60 seconds and they’re super fast. I’d give them an extra 6th star just for the parking and elevators alone. We felt safe at the property, which can be a concern. Super convenient 3 min walk to the beach, plenty of great restaurants. Top notch!!!

We had a great stay. We didn’t spend much time in the room other than to shower and sleep because the neighborhood has so much to offer. It is close to a lot of grab and go places, which was great on our way to the beach. It’s also an easy 15 minute walk from the heart of Waikiki shopping and dining. Peter was responsive and the check in instructions are clear.
