Vacation rentals in Johns Island

Our family of 8, 3 couples + children, thought the view from the back of the house was breathtaking. House was clean, site gave us many suggestions for things to do and places to eat. The location was so easy to walk to restaurants, shopping, and a small grocery store. Any small questions we had or request we made was taken care of promptly. Couldn't have asked for a better home to stay in or company to work with.

Our stay at Beach Bums on Edisto Island was absolutely wonderful! The house was incredibly comfortable and welcoming, beautifully decorated, and equipped with everything we could possibly need. Heather communicated exceptionally well, ensuring we knew we could reach out for assistance at any time. She also provided excellent recommendations for exploring the local area. It was the perfect getaway! Without a doubt, this is a five-star home, managed by a remarkably kind and engaged host. This place is a hidden gem that we are so happy we found!

This house is super cute! We absolutely LOVED all the outdoor entertaining spaces, porches, decks and garage area. Walking distance from the beach and in a perfect location. This house was perfect for riding out tropical storm Debby. The house was one of the only houses on the island whose yard was not completely flooded. At one point during the storm we looked outside to see a ton of deer riding out the storm with us in the yard. We will definitely rent again.

Had a great stay at Elizabeth's place. the place is just as seen in pictures. Easy to find, great location. Walking distance to grocery store and restaurants. Loved the beach view on the balcony with our morning coffee. Would definitely stay there again.

If you don’t want to fall into a deep sleep to the sound of ocean waves and a cool breeze, then waking to have coffee on the porch overlooking the beach, then I don’t recommend staying at Crissy’s cottage. Her cottage is perfection. The screened porch is comfy, the living room pretty and esthetic, and the bedrooms cozy and so comfortable. She is a very receptive hostess, she makes you feel right at home. If you can, pack fishing gear/tackle. Several of the locals loved sharing their tips and tricks with us.

Adam space was amazing. I didn’t mind the steps at all. We stayed on the third floor. The view is worth walking up the stairs. The place is very cute and cozy and clean Adam‘s great with communication responded always right away and it was awesome because he was able to give me a late check out, which I know is not always possible. Can’t wait to say again.

Such a great spot, perfect for our babymoon getaway! Absolutely beautiful location, the beach is quite literally right in your backyard. Extremely quiet, private, and peaceful area. Very easy walk (0.3 ish miles) to coffee/breakfast in the morning at The Nest. We enjoyed the Ocean Room and Hege’s both for fantastic dinners. Freshfields shopping is also an easy drive for shops, groceries, and lunch spots. Ron was a wonderful host - we’d love to return!

Quiet area, private beach, house with all necessities The wrap around porch and big glass doors made for a very open and spacious feel. Sunrises from deck, bed or great room were beautiful,and listening to the waves very relaxing.

We had a wonderful stay with our baby and 2 small dogs! Beautiful home in a great location! It had everything we needed and more. It was so easy to get to downtown Charleston and the ride was beautiful and scenic. You can also walk to two great restaurants: Paisanos pizza and for breakfast the Smoky Yolk. We would love to stay here again and highly recommend it!

We had so much fun at Villa 19! It was clean and spacious. Michelle was great to work with from booking to check out. We highly recommend the Airbnb.

We’ve come down and stay at John’s place for the last few years, it’s a great place and the Murphy bed works out perfect. Really close to everything and the sun says our second to not. Jon is great to work with.

This is an adorable home in a sweet area of Charleston. The house was very clean and the beds and linens very comfortable. We loved the neighborhood, and walking to Bad Bunnies for coffee time and all of King Street. Courtney was one of the sweetest hosts we have met on Airbnb. Thank you!

Tricia's place was exactly what we needed in Mt.Pleasant. The beds were comfortable and the towels were plentiful and good quality. The kitchen had more than we needed for cooking and the furniture in the living room was of good quality and comfortable for hanging out and watching TV. The location was very convenient to everything we wanted to do and the deck was a perfect place to relax. Great stay!

I met with some friends from all over North America, and they all had an amazing experience. Renee was proactive in trying to solve potential issues and was very friendly! Highly recommend to anyone looking for a comfortable stay in Charleston!

Amazing location, comfortable bed, great fenced-in backyard. I would stay again for sure. Hosts were responsive and everything worked out well for our stay.

Wow, what a beautiful place! Perfect for our weekend vacation! Such an awesome experience, we will definitely be back! The cool details like the fancy folded towels and toilet paper made our first impression of the place above and beyond what we expected. My daughter said she loved and made friends with the lizards on the top of the Yurt. My son said he had an amazing experience for his first time at the beach in a long time and never seen a more beautifuller place than this!
