Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Jefferson County

Beautiful and eclectic home that we immediately felt at home in. The host was incredibly proactive with communications. The entire neighborhood and historic downtown is walkable and full of fun places to explore (and great coffee shops).

This place was great! Exactly as described! The hosts were phenomenal. Very responsive to anything we needed. Tons of space inside, shower was bigger than we expected. The hot water lasted longer than we expected and 6 of us could shower every morning without ever running out. That was lovely! We wanted something unique, yet affordable for spring break with our family of 9. And this provided just that. We even found a geo cache on site just down the road. A few things to note, if you’re bringing kids. There are broken buildings in the surrounding area which means there’s lots of broken glass. Our immediate housing was clear though. Made for interesting exploration. There’s very little natural light which is great for sleeping. Not so great if you lose power. We had intense storms come through the area and lost power for almost 24 hours, but our hosts scrambled to help as much as they could. Even offered to refund our last night. Brought flash lights, and kept checking in. GREAT HOSTS

The place was even more beautiful than the photos. We enjoyed the patio and fire put. The walkable location can’t be beat. It also had comfy beds and so many nice extras left by very accommodating and responsive hosts. We would definitely recommend staying here

This was our second stay at the Cozy Couch while in town visiting family. We enjoyed our stay. The home is so beautiful and clean and spacious. We love being able to travel with our dog. And the location allows us to walk everywhere, which we really enjoy. David is super responsive, even when tied up with his own holiday festivities, which we really appreciated. We can't wait to say again.

This home was very cute & felt like home! Sam was so sweet, helpful, and friendly!! We absolutely loved our stay here. The home had everything we needed. Beautiful creek runs in the back yard, and beautiful views all around! Easy to get to, a nice size yard to walk our dogs, and very clean. Quiet setting, was not bothered by any neighbors or noises. Sam was very responsive, and hosted us for a last minute trip, with no issues. This is the perfect home for a get away in Madison. We will definitely be back.

So nice, I’ve stayed twice! This is my second time in the bungalow and my second great experience! The bungalow is such a relaxing stay. We will see you again!

The place was just what we expected quit and peaceful. we have stayed there before so we already knew it was topnotch, Ashley and Donnie the entire bunch are fine people!

Our stay was fantastic. Angela's place is amazing, cozy and the perfect get away. The massage chair was relaxing and we really enjoyed the hot tub at sunset with the cows and the beautiful candles and lights. We also really enjoyed the retro Atari games. The kitchen was perfect and had everything we needed. Peaceful, quiet and would definitely come back again.

We were looking for a quiet weekend stay with our two kids for a quick getaway. Danessa’s place was perfect! The place was quiet, surrounded by trees, great hot tub, spacious living area for the kids to play, and comfy beds!

We loved staying at Angela’s place. The location was so convenient to walk to everything-we only used our car to go to Clifty Falls. Angela was a wonderful host and the fresh baked cookies and other treats were thoroughly enjoyed. We loved everything about the home-the comfortable bed, the high shower head, the fireplace…everything. If we ever have the opportunity to return to Madison, we will definitely stay here again!

Amazing place that was secluded yet close to the main town. The cabin was absolutely amazing- filled with great mounts and antiques.

This home is absolutely gorgeous! Driving up the main drive makes you feel like you're in the mountains! The surroundings are a dream. As soon as you step outside you can hear the birds, the stream flowing, and all that you want from nature. the home was well equipped and had everything you need for a great vacation. The kitchen was breathtaking. Every room had a beautiful view! The owner was very responsive and was quick to address all our questions. The home is beautiful and great for a group! We enjoyed having a bonfire at the fire pit and just spending time on the decks with each other. Walking the property was gorgeous. I wish we could have stayed longer!!

The cabin was just like the description. It was very clean and it felt just like home. It was so peaceful and quiet. I had a very nice stay with my family.

We loved staying here and it was the perfect location for our family Easter! I truly can’t say enough great things about this cabin and the owners! It was very clean and well appointed with anything you need and the owners were very accommodating and kind! They helped with a couple requests, including a pack and play and high chair. We were able to cook a large Easter dinner with the stocked kitchen appliances and cookware. The property is very serene with plenty of privacy and great options for hiking around. The location is also not too far to get to the grocery store and restaurants. Lastly, the pool table and hot tub were a hit! We highly recommend to stay here and know we will definitely be back for another stay!

We really, really enjoyed this property even though it rained & stormed every day. The view is so gorgeous! We actually enjoyed watching the storms out the large windows that overlook the property, the large pond and rolling hills. Watching the deer meandering around as they fed and the turkeys chasing each other was better than watching TV. This property is so peaceful. On nice days, there is lots to do as he says in the description…pontoon & paddle boat on the pond, a fire pit area, the hot tub, corn hole, comfortable deck, and just walking the property. The home was spotless and very comfortably appointed. We could not think of one thing we would have wanted that wasn’t already provided. So many towels, blankets, kitchen utensils, etc. Beautiful and tasteful decor. Comfortable beds. We traveled with another couple & there was plenty of room. Jim was very responsive from beginning to end. If we could give more than 5 stars, we would. I’m sure anyone would love their stay.

Stone Creek cabin is as the photos appear. The original design inside and out is beautiful. The interior is like a southwestern work of art, full of interesting details in the woodwork, tile and rock decor. It seemed to me to have been someone’s labor of love with attention to every detail. April continues to do the same, providing everything possible to welcome her guests, extra snacks and drinks, etc. There were plenty of supplies, linens. The master bed on the main floor was very comfortable. Every room was tastefully decorated and all rooms were perfectly neat and clean. ( Compliments to the cleaning staff since we followed a 13 guest bachelor's party. ) April is very kind and easy to work with regarding arrangements. I always felt I could contact her if we ran into a problem. We saw deer and a turtle outside the cabin. Not so much as a gnat inside the cabin. We would certainly recommend this property to anyone.

A truly special stay for a truly special weekend! We stayed at A Little Piece of Heaven to celebrate my 30th birthday, and the experience exceeded every expectation. The hosts were incredibly thoughtful, communicative, and kind throughout our entire visit—from the detailed directions to the fresh eggs waiting for us on the porch. The property itself is beautiful and peaceful, with so many personal touches that made us feel right at home. One of the highlights was the farm tour—my nieces got to feed the chickens, gather eggs, and meet some of the animals. It was such a sweet experience, and I know it’s something they’ll remember forever. We truly appreciated their hospitality and openness—it made our trip feel like more than just a stay. I can’t recommend this place enough if you’re looking for a peaceful, welcoming getaway surrounded by nature and good people. Thank you again for everything!

This cabin was great! The back porch faces the scenic view in the pictures and the cabin itself is private and just off a secluded road. It was so peaceful to sit outside and listen to the birds and different animals in the woods. Vevay is a cute charming town and it was fun to drive around the narrow and winding roads to Madison. I feel so rejuvenated and the cabin was everything I needed for a weekend away.
