It was a great place to stay. Cute, cozy living space. Lots of good hiking trails nearby.

Nick & I absolutely loved our stay at Dave’s Milk Barn. It was charming, adorable, cozy, and gave us exactly what we needed for a respite from the city. Rio & Toby were incredibly flexible, kind, accommodating and helpful. Beautiful surroundings, adorable quaint rustic accommodation. We couldn’t give this place enough positive marks! Will definitely be coming back.

We had an amazing stay at Sally’s place in Bethel! My fiancé and I visited CT for the first time to celebrate my birthday and go to a convention nearby. This cottage was perfect for the two of us. The host was very responsive and accommodating as well! The cottage was in pristine condition, the house manual was very easy to follow, the recommendations were great, the scenery was out of a movie, and my favorite part was the hot tub in our restroom which was perfect after a long day! We had a great time and would love to come back again! Thanks for your hospitality Sally! ☺️

So grateful for our weekend getaway at Larissa's. Everything was so peaceful and cozy. We have two little boys and Larissa was wonderful with making them comfortable to join in on the farm responsibilities, from feeding animals to gathering eggs and cleaning the barn. Our boys kept talking about Farmer Larissa and when they would see her and the animals again, (Finn and Bugsy especially!). We felt so warmly welcomed, in naturally good company and really can't wait to come back again for a longer stay.

Such a unique, beautiful, and cozy woodstock stay. The location doesn’t get better- you can easily walk to town. The creek in the backyard was my favorite part. We overlooked the second bathroom not having a full, stand up shower but we made it work!

Loved the place - so beautiful. Everything was as pictured. Loved the heated toilet seat! Just need to know it is a dirt road for a bit before 797, and if there in rainy season there are deep ruts. And steep stone steps to the loft and then a railed stairway. So if anyone has any mobility issues they need to know ahead of time. Shawn was gracious and brought over some coffee beans for the morning brew. Close to downtown Brattleboro. Missed going for a walk. Such a lovely property.

We spent a quiet and comfortable spring break in the barn. All the facilities are both beautiful and practical! We will definitely come back to rent it again. It's just like our home in the United States.

This place was a perfect weekend get away for myself and husband. Plenty of space for the two of us. The place was nicely, decorated and fully furnished with accessories if you wish to cook. I enjoyed the spaces between the outside patio as well as the hot tub. Bill was great with giving suggestions of local places, even though I was a local myself.. if you’re looking for a quiet getaway this is your place.

We wanted to have a girls weekend and visit with my aunt. There were too many of us to fit at her house. We found the Barn to be only a few minutes from her house so it was a perfect location for us. We had everything we needed. The kitchenette only has a microwave but there was a great electric grill on the big screened porch. We made delicious meals even though it was really cold out there! We would love to stay at the barn again when we visit. It was charming and perfect for our needs. The only thing it lacked was a dining table inside. If the weather was warmer we could have eaten out on the porch . We’re looking forward to visiting again in the summer.

Patty and Rob are excellent hosts, warm and inviting and checked in to make sure we had everything we may need. They went above and beyond to make sure our whole family had what we needed, providing even high chairs for mealtime for our twins! The space was exceptionally well appointed, materials and design convey a thoughtful dwelling and peaceful atmosphere. We enjoyed stunning views over the pond and woods and watched mergansers playing for hours. There were many hikes in the area, flat or hilly to choose from in driving distance (many within 10 minutes). Local eateries abound as well in nearby towns, I would highly recommend stopping at Mi Corazon if feeling hungry after a day of hiking near Greenfield.

I absolutely loved this chic cozy cabin, so well designed. Also spotless and pristine. This was a sweet getaway with my family, perfectly safe for little ones as it is one-floor and open concept - and I hope to book again during the ski season! Jennifer is a lovely host, super responsive.

The red cabin was an absolute gem! Even better than the photos! Max and Emily were so wonderful and kind. Their dog Finn was so sweet as well. We walked in to a wonderfully homey and well decorated cabin with a carton of fresh eggs and a personalized note on the counter. Both Max and Emily were super responsive with suggestions and anything we needed during the stay but gave just as much space as needed - they definitely know how to match the needs of their guests. We left some butcher meat in the freezer and they were kind enough to keep it for us and let us know and we were able to go pick it up from them after. Such kind people with such a lovely unique cabin offering. Will definitely be back!

Caroline was a great host, super responsive. It was snowing a lot during our stay and she let us park one of our cars in the garage. A fuse also went out when we were using a hair dryer and she was able to immediately send someone to the house to fix it right away. The house was beautiful and we would stay here again, already making potential plans for the summer. We’ve already recommended it to other friends! We had a great time cooking, using the hot tub, lounging around and exploring Rhinebeck which is not far from the house. Not far from Hudson either! Perfect location.

It was a great getaway! The barn was deep clean and gorgeous. The neighborhood is very friendly and most of the places pet friendly. Everything was very well maintain. it's a great places to relax. Thank you Nico for be attended to our questions.

We had a very enjoyable stay at this house, our city kids loved the immaculate grassy backyard. The beds were very comfortable, the kitchen was well prepped with cookware, and Renee was communicative and responsive.

We had a great stay at the barn. Quiet, peaceful, and clean - with all the necessities (bed/linens SUPER comfy). Walking the forest of the property, we saw a variety of enchanting moss and mushrooms. The area has a lot of history. We visited old cemeteries near by of the families that lived in the area in the early 1800’s! Down by the lake, we enjoyed the kayaks and even got to see beavers close up while out on the water! Hosts were responsive and helpful with anything we needed. We will definitely be back!

Fantastic space for a large group. We had 10 people for a New Year’s Eve ski weekend, and this was the ideal spot for it. Hot tub was a great treat. Be warned - the floors are squeaky, so if you’re a light sleeper in a large group bring ear plugs.

We had an excellent stay at the Big Green Barn! Super cozy space located in the charming Manchester community. Plenty of space for two couples. We especially loved the unique artwork. 28 minute drive to Stratton Mountain. Could not have asked for a better long weekend getaway.

I was close to the area, decided to extend my weekend and did a last minute booking with Emily who was very accommodating! Her place was clean and I loved the decor and furniture. The kitchen is gorgeous and the counter tops made cooking easy with plenty of space for me to feel comfortable. Thank you for sharing, we loved it!

Absolutely wonderful! Beautiful, peaceful, spacious, and comfortable. My kids loved visiting the alpacas every day right outside. It was the perfect place to go for quiet quality time together as a family reading books, playing board games and admiring the baby alpacas. Kara and everyone we met on the farm or at the quaint store were all just lovely. We also had fun snow tubing a short drive away (Kara's recommendation) and enjoyed some great meals out. Highly recommend this stay!!

We enjoyed a beautiful early spring stay on the farm with a group of 7 ladies, gathering for a chill bachelorette weekend in Cold Springs. The farmhouse was super cozy; great for cooking, crafting, games, tea time, outdoor wine picnics, star gazing at night in the hot tub and making friends with the chickens! A great retreat spot for groups with all the amenities!

My family of 8 (2 parents & 6 adult children) REALLY enjoyed staying at The Cow Barn Lodge! This home really is a great home away from home!! Donna & Jack greeted us & gave our family a great tour so that we knew where everything was & how to work & find all of the fantastic games and all the space had to offer us. The Cow Barn is huge, clean and well taken care of by Donna & Jack. Donna gave us great recommendations for a places to eat (Roots for dinner in Rutland was delicious & Sugar & Spice was a fantastic breakfast spot on our way to ski at Killington). We loved the location to easily get to ski all the local mountains & also do some great winter hiking at Mt. Ascutney. Since we have adult children, they really enjoyed their private spaces & the game room to play all together (we are a competitive family who loves to play pool and ping pong, but the barn had way more to offer!). As others have said as well, our 1st stay in a barn as a family was awesome!! Can't wait to return!
