Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Hatteras

Connie’s place was wonderful! I was blown away by how much was available for us to use in the kitchen! Every utensil, appliance, even basic ingredients I needed and more was available. It was a quick walk to the beach, bikes were available too and we enjoyed them. My toddlers LOVED the hot tub. If you plan to visit and stay here, remember there are NO linens. Only blankets and pillow cases. There are not even hand towels in bathrooms or wash clothes, just the kitchen towels! Pack accordingly. Since we came in the off season, some things were still closed for the year. We found that there was much more to do up in Duck/Nags Head, but the drive up was enjoyable and serene. :) Connie was super accommodating and has impeccable communication. We’d love to stay here again some day.

After trying for a few years to schedule a family vacation, this became ‘our spot’. Of all the places we looked at, we decided this place had ‘something for everyone’, and it did not disappoint. The upper deck was our go-to place for morning coffee, and a breath-taking sunset view over the sound. The adventurers had kayaks for the sound and boogie boards for the beach. All enjoyed exploring the area, visiting museums and different beach access points. Much fun for gamers, too. Our ‘eat out’ plans changed when we saw the well-appointed kitchen. We baked with the KitchenAid, and — how many places have a perfectly seasoned cast iron pan waiting in a beautiful, modern kitchen? Plenty of towels and extra covers for the chilly nights, also, made us comfortable. Our hosts were extremely responsive before and during the trip. We never felt anything was ‘too small’ to ask. They also provided a solid guidebook. It’s clear they love this place, and want guests to love it, too.

This house has a nice set up. Our group had a wonderful time. The great room is open and bright, and has a stunning view of the ocean. We hung out there most of the day. This house is right next to the pier which makes it quite unique a find. So, needless to say, we will be back.

This was a fantastic place to stay in Rodanthe, NC. It is extremely close to the beach and the pier, which provided endless entertainment. The house was super clean and had tons of amenities. The kitchen was loaded with various tools needed to cook. We were able to walk just a few steps to the pier every night to fish, which was great! There are tons of extra activities, like the pool table and air hockey table, which were great later in the evening. The pool and hot tub were super clean, easy to access and use. There is definitely plenty of room for multiple families or guests and the beds are very comfortable, linens included. We definitely will return!

This place was just like home. Very comfortable furniture and beds. Kitchen was very well stocked and had everything we had for cooking meals all week. Wished the dune was just a little lower so you could see the ocean, but it was nice to be able to hear it and to be able to quickly access the beach.

Great location, very easy boardwalk over the dunes. Great surfing right out front - close to the pier and all the shops and restaurants. The property was very clean and comfortable. Would rent again!

Heaven sent! My family arrived at another rental we had booked for 2 weeks in Rodanthe only to find it inaccessible due to flooding so we were homeless at 5:30 on a Saturday afternoon. We found Natalie's listing for this property and quickly contacted her to request an on-the spot booking. She responded immediately and graciously accepted. We had no idea what to expect, having had no opportunity to thoroughly research the property in advance of booking. Natalie indeed has a true gem in this listing. Being waterfront on the sound side was a new experience for us, we have been lifelong oceanfront renters. The property, pool and grounds were exceptionally well cared for and the pier and sea wall provided ample fishing opportunities, bringing in several nice Red Drum and Blues among the usual assortment. The house itself provided ample room for our family to spread out and also enjoy being together. Natalie saved the day and we had a fabulous stay - I highly recommend this listing!
