Lake side house rentals in Hamlin Lake

Everything went smoothly from check in to check out. Nick answered questions quickly. The listing of Bear Lake Bliss (pictures, description) is exactly how it is. The house was spotless and stocked with everything that was needed. Our family had a great Thanksgiving.

My wife and I had a few days off for a fall break. Dennis' place was a perfect spot. The drive there and the surrounding woods were vibrant with color. The place was comfortable, well-suited for a short or long stay, and was stocked with plenty to do. The short path to the lake is great, and the dock provides a lovely view. We spent hours just sitting on the dock chairs reading. We were fortunate to have beautiful sunny days. We took the short drive into Traverse City to go to Trattoria Stella, one of our very favorite restaurants. We also took a short hike out back to connect to the Mt Minnie trail and thoroughly enjoyed that hike. Being minutes from Sleeping Bear Dunes, Empire, and Franfort was a perfect location. Our last evening, we went 15 minutes to Peterson Beach and watched the sun set and stayed to watch all the stars emerge in the darkness. It was amazing! We didn't, but we could have built a fire there on the beach.. We hope to return. Thanks Dennis!

Absolutely stunning and beautiful home! As someone who travels a lot, this home is definitely one of the best places I've stayed at.

What a great place for getting away! The house is first-class with brand new upgrades inside. And the grounds are landscaped beyond belief. The home even comes with a private dock for gazing at the pair of swans as they glide by. It's a little mini-mansion of a gem.

The house was very well furnished, yard was perfect for a nightly bonfire with friends and family. Close enough to town where you could easily get groceries, fuel, or simple go out to eat with no worry about it being a long drive. The house was located perfectly around multiple trailheads for ORV riding (within 20 mins). The only thing that I can say that was a downside to the rental was the amount of kitchenware. For a cabin that sleeps 10, there were limited plates, bowls, mixing bowls, and utensils.

Had an amazing long weekend. Great inland lake. The house was perfect for our family. The host was super responsive and had a ton of great recommendations.

❤️ Definitely coming back if I have the opportunity. Used this as a get away for myself. While there are reviews on here where they did things- I literally just stayed in the whole time. So I shall speak about the home itself. Very warm and inviting. Plenty of space and locations for variety of seating and work space. Many different windows for viewing (though I will say that the kitchen and living do not have blinds). The dining room/king sized bedroom/room with hanging chair has amazing lake views. ❤️ Also! Neighbors are nice- which is a good thing.

Lovely home on Rose Lake. Very quiet and peaceful. Home has plenty of room for a family of 5 .(3 adults and 2 kids) The kiddos loves the hammock in the backyard by the water and roasting marshmallows at the fire pit. A definite add to our favorites list. Will stay again and recommend to our other family when they stay up here.

This was the third year my daughter and I stayed in the Grant area for spring Turkey season. This was by far the most comfortable and accommodating place we have stayed. From the full kitchen, comfortable beds and quiet setting, we could not have asked for more. Our host was friendly and very responsive to all of our inquiries. We will definitely look to stay here again.

My family has stayed at the Fantastic Beach House II for three summers now, and it never disappoints! The cottage is always clean and suites all our needs, the yard is perfect for outdoor games, and we love the lake! You can walk right into the lake from the yard and the fishing is always great! Can't wait to go back up!

Definitely book your stay here! With permission, we had a very small wedding on-site and it was the perfect weekend for all. The host was extremely kind and responsive. I had a question about the property once we arrived, and I received a phone call right away in response. Everything is very well maintained, CLEAN, and unlike many rentals-plentiful. We had more than enough of everything despite the extra guests. The backyard yields an incredible view. Not only of the water, but of an amazing sunset as well. Super friendly area, with plenty of food options close by. This place exceeded our expectations in all categories. Everyone that visited/stayed raved about the the view, the kayaking, the healthy board game collection, the smores by the fire, the multiple yard games, and even how comfy and clean their beds were. You will not be disappointed, and if you somehow are-this host will help.

Close to Crystal, and exactly as advertised. A perfect place for a couple families that want to ski or golf.

We wanted to visit Lewis Farm so I started to look for Airbnb’s in the surrounding area. I’m so glad I decided on this cabin! As soon as we arrived my husband said “wow this is right up your alley - look how clean it is!” It was truly immaculate! The kitchen had everything we needed to cook for ourselves. We utilized the firewood that was provided and the charcoal grill. It had a great front porch to have our coffee on and relax. My toddler loved running around the large yard! Lake Michigan is just a short distance away and the sunsets were magical. So much to do within 20 minutes or so of this cabin! We want to make it a tradition to visit every year. You will instantly fall in love with the quiet lakefront beauty and the breath-taking and welcoming home just 60 or so feet from the water. The main floor of the house is close to lake level making the drama of nature around you compelling and inspiring. The waterfront and waves lapping the stone and sand shore are visible from almost all the rooms of the house, and it's a short walk to River Street in Elk Rapids. Traverse Magazine readers voted River Street "in the top 10 of ‘Sweet Small-Town Main Streets in Northern Michigan.'” The pace of life is calming in this lovely town and in this beautiful home. Owner Bernadette and property manager Sam make you feel perfectly at home. Response time to messages is instant, polite, and friendly. There's so much enjoyment to be had for all ages here.

We loved this get away spot. We are familiar with the area and this is very well located to get to area restaurants and other points of interest. Quiet and peaceful. Beautiful views. We will be back!!

It was a great spot. We loved all the recommendations and amenities. We did had to clean some spider web from the doors and windows but other than that it was good.

Great place for the family. Plenty of things to do at the house. Also not too far from Traverse City or Boyne Mountain. Would definitely stay here again!!

Everything was exactly what we wanted.

We enjoyed our stay so much! The house is private and beautiful, surrounded by woods. We loved exploring the area with so many things to see and do. Our favorite thing was the shared private beach just minutes away and the perfect spot to watch the amazing sunsets. The house is so nice and comfortable and the cozy beds were a hit! We can’t wait to come back!
