David was an excellent host that provided us with lots of local reccomendations and communicated proactively with clear instructions to find the home! The place was beautiful with an awesome game room, a beautiful view, plenty of space, and was stocked with everything we needed. There were also many thoughtful touches such as firewood ready to go for the fire pit and plenty of DVD's for us to enjoy! The only issue that we ran into was that one of the neighbors at the bottom of the mountain has a pack of dogs, we counted around 10, that does bark most of the time. You cannot hear it inside, but you can on the porch. When we were coming back one evening, they also surrounded our car and the owner did not do anything about it despite us honking the horn for about 7 minutes inching forward trying not to run them over. Of course, this is not the fault of the host, but it is something for future guests to be aware of. Overall, we loved this home and would highly recommend it!!

Really fantastic cabin in a great area relative to GSMNP. Maybe the cleanest place we've ever rented, well decorated for the season. The hosts are very communicative, both proactive and responsive, but not intrusive. Would gladly stay here again.

Cabin in Sevierville

This is a very cozy cabin for a couple. Very close to many attractions and restaurants. Could have maybe been a little cleaner ( mainly the cobwebs in the bathroom ) That would definitely not keep me from staying here again because otherwise it was clean. Enjoyed swinging on the front porch swing and having Mama bear and her cubs come strolling down the street right in front of the cabin. How awesome. There was a main water line hit somewhere that affected our water for a day or a little longer but Jennifer was right on top of it and communicated the information with us several times of what was going on. We really appreciated the communication. She was very concerned about our comfort during this unfortunate situation.

We had a wonderful stay. The cabin was really clean. Had all the amenities that we needed. Very peaceful, even though the cabin was up in the mountains we were still close enough to Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge, we could get there within 30min. Jeanne was a great host, whenever we texted her, she texted us right back. When coming in at night be careful the road going to cabin is a one way curvy road.

The peaceful scenery surrounding the property is breathtaking - perfect for nature lovers and those seeking tranquility. Inside, the cabin is beautifully decorated with a cozy, rustic charm that makes you feel right at home. Every detail has been thoughtfully considered, from plush furnishings to amenities galore. But the pièce de résistance? The hot tub under the stars! Unwind and rejuvenate amidst nature's splendor. Communication with our hosts was seamless, and check-in/out was effortless. We loved the quiet and peaceful private cabin! There was lots of space on the porch for sitting in rocking chairs or dining outside, the kitchen fully stocked for our homemade meals and the hot tub was an excellent way to relax! The only thing we were a little unsure about was going in and out of the hot tub at night in wet shoes- only because it is on a little bit of an incline set beside the house. We still loved that hot tub and used it multiple times though! This was a perfect long weekend getaway spot near the Harrahs Casino for us and we plan to visit again in the future.

We stayed at the cabin one night for a mini honeymoon and wish we could have stayed longer! It was so serene and peaceful with breathtaking views all around. We truly enjoyed our stay! Gina was great at reaching out and offering a great list of things to do. We visited to celebrated our 7th wedding anniversary. The tiny cabin was located in the perfect location & had everything we needed. There are neighboring cabins to each side but it was a very private lot with a beautiful babbling creek around back. We have made so many wonderful memories on this trip and it was so nice to be able to come back to the cozy cabin and relax after a busy day of traveling & touring. We loved everything about this place! We can’t wait to plan another trip!

Your guide to Great Smoky Mountains
All About the Great Smoky Mountains
One of the great natural treasures of Appalachia, the Great Smoky Mountains rise up along the Tennessee-North Carolina border in the southeastern pocket of the United States. The Smokies are also a designated National Park, drawing nature lovers and outdoor adventurers from all over the world with lush valleys and challenging peaks. Wildlife is abundant here, with more than 1,000 black bears calling the park home and hundreds of bird species to be seen (look out for screech owls).
Whether you’re looking for the excitement of tubing down a snowy hillside, prefer a leisurely kayak along the river, or fancy an afternoon sampling the breweries in nearby Gatlinburg, the Great Smoky Mountains National Park has you covered. Enchanting fall foliage attracts annual visitors, while spring brings carpets of wildflowers and rushing waterfalls. Part of the fun is deciding just how you’ll explore the mountain range, which contains 150 hiking trails, the Cades Cove driving loop, and plenty of bike-friendly travel routes.
The best time to stay in a vacation rental in Great Smoky Mountains
Spring in the Smokies means wildflowers in bloom, black bears coming out of hibernation, and an exquisite spring vegetable harvest for the area’s restaurants. The summer brings an abundance of activity, both in the wild and in the mountain resort town of Gatlinburg, where open-air festivals fill the calendar. Fall is renowned for the changes in foliage that occur here, and if you’re taking advantage of the many Smoky Mountain vacation rentals or have a Smoky cabin rental lined up, there are plenty of viewing points around the park to make the most of the seasonal show. If you prefer crisp winter days — and have packed accordingly — the festive season makes neighboring Gatlinburg worth the trip, with parades and light shows accessible via the year-round trolley service.
Top things to do in Great Smoky Mountains
The Foothills Parkway
Lauded as one of the most beautiful drives in the United States, the Foothills Parkway winds its way across the foothills of the northern Great Smoky Mountains. The road runs for 72 miles along parts of the Little Tennessee River as well as through portions of Blount, Cocke, and Sevier counties, with numerous viewpoints over the Smokies themselves.
Cades Cove
Take a five-mile hike or drive up to Cades Cove, a lush valley with a few historical timber buildings leftover from its time as a residential mountain outpost. This protected valley is now a favorite spot for visitors hoping to spot grazing wildlife, gold and pink sunsets, or a sea of dancing fireflies during summer. The paved loop is closed for cyclists on Saturday and Wednesday mornings, and there are hikes to Abrams Falls. If you’d like a guided tour, both public and private options are available.
Gatlinburg
Gatlinburg is a mountain resort town nestled on the northern edge of the Great Smoky Mountains. It has an interactive pinball museum, a Space Needle with panoramic vistas from 400 feet in the air, and plenty of local distilleries, breweries, and wineries worth visiting.
