We stayed for 3 days and we absolutely loved it. Perfect for couples that want a little getaway from the city, and love a good view and calm environment. The only noise you will hear here is the bird chirps and ducks quack. We thoroughly enjoyed how cozy the apartment is and spent a good deal of time outdoors by the grill and in the dome. Elena was an amazing host and they even had Indiana dunes park passes available which was great. Would recommend 100%.

Magical place!!! Beautiful community! We just loved staying in the River here with our dog! Rhiannon was the best hostess. This place is stocked to the nines with linens dishes, bowls, pots, pans. You name it! We were able to enjoy the river and. The park is right next door so it was perfect walking my dog! The perennial blooms were making a show when we were here so again. Just a magical place! We will be back for sure. Thank you so much to the Ford's for doing it right!!!!

This is the second time we stayed at Serenity Cottage, Lake Of The Woods It is an ideal location for us because we have family in Bremen, Bourbon, and Plymouth. The setting is beautiful. We love the big open family area. The kitchen is lovely and we usually cook most of our meals so it is stocked well enough to do this. The owner lives next-door and checked in to make sure everything was OK. We will definitely stay here again.

Extremely helpful due to the situation on why we needed such a big house. House was clean, kept all the guests comfortable and able to stay busy with darts, pool table, and hot tub. Host always responded in a reasonable time.

Maryanna has an absolutely wonderful home to stay in! I felt right at home and really appreciated how clean and tidy everything was. Josh and Nicole were fantastic hosts! Their place was clean and exactly as pictured. The hot tub was our main reason for selecting this property. The hot tub was well maintained and easy to access. No complaints! We will definitely plan to stay again for our next trip on the area.

For our trip this home was perfect. It was near the friends we were visiting, short drive to Lake Michigan, great restaurants in the area, and we loved having a kitchen so we could grab some groceries and save some money on meals. The home is older but so is ours so we felt right at home. Everything was clean as well. We hope to stay here again.

Josh and Kiara have a beautifully decorated home that made for a comfortable and relaxing stay. The attention to detail in the decor really added to the atmosphere, and the hot tub was a fantastic bonus—perfect for unwinding after a long day. Their hospitality was evident, from their great communication to the thoughtful card wishing my friend luck on her exam, which was such a kind gesture. There was a small cleaning oversight, but they were very responsive and clearly care about their guests’ experience. Overall, a great stay, and I’d definitely consider booking again in the future!

Our son had a soccer tournament at the Grand Park Sports Complex, so we chose to stay here—and we’re so glad we did. Stacey was great with communication, checking in with us before our arrival and throughout our stay to make sure we had everything we needed. The property itself was beautiful, peaceful, and exactly what we were looking for. It was clean, well-equipped, and felt like a perfect retreat. We especially enjoyed strolling around the area and taking in the serene surroundings. The recommendations for local restaurants were also spot-on!
