lovely, comfortable accommodation in walking distance of airstrip. ocean frontage, love to hear waves crashing in. Fridge and freezer in room as well as Keurig for a morning coffee. Only thing missing really was some glassware to pour water/wine. Right next door a great B'fast place/lunchroom called 'Surf point', highly recommended.

We had a great time staying at Black Sands Inn. The listing was as described, and right on the beach, with oceanfront views from every room. The building itself looked very hold and the seaside elements have been rough to it, but the rooms inside were nice and newly remodeled. The bed was very comfortable and clean. The hot tub was working and a nice way to wind down at the end of the day. Our only complaint was that the provided door code was incorrect, but we were able to call their hotline and someone picked up immediately and was able to to change the code for us, so this was not a big issue at all. Shelter Cove itself was amazing; very remote with gorgeous scenery everywhere, surprisingly good food for how small the town is, and very friendly locals.

We really love staying at end of the lost coast. The room had a commanding view of the ocean. Is a great little café downstairs and an excellent restaurant at the other end of the runway. Very peaceful place that’s pretty isolated from the rest of the world. You will enjoy your time here

This place was perfect for my family. It was very clean, and we were very pleasantly surprised by how amazing the view was from the room. The large windows had more than an 180 degree view of the ocean. The sunset from our room was beautiful! The kitchen appliances were great and the room was open and spacious. We would live to come back and stay longer next time.

I'm a 72yo husband to a much younger woman of 69. There are amenities that are inconsequential for much younger travelors that matter moreso to the silver crowd. Understand that nothing I add here subtracts from the accommodations listed, they are only observations near and dear to weary geriatrics. The unit is up a flight of stairs that are attached to the exterior of the building. This is a non-issue to travelers younger than I. The bathroom has been meticulously remodeled. Shower has a wide entry door with a minimum of threshold so no stubbed toes. However, the large shower has no grab bars which is concerning when you can't open your eyes while rinsing or turning. I have found that not all commodes are the same height so be aware this unit has a very low landing height without a grab point to resurrect one to upright. Nonetheless, the unit remains a fantastic lodging experience and in no way should my observations deter an informed traveler from selecting Scott's great offering.

This was my family’s second time staying during spring break vacation and it was just as great as the first time. This time we brought our dog and accommodations were great. The house has easy access, quiet and peaceful. The living room television has been upgraded to a larger size which was awesome for our family movie nights on Netflix. Eric was very responsive when we had WiFi questions and welcoming at our independent check in. We look forward to another vacation here again.😊

It was a magical stay for my cat Marty and I! The redwoods in the backyard are splendid and the tiny house was super comfortable. I throughly enjoyed the stay. One of my favorite airbnbs so far. The host is the absolute best too!

The place was very clean and nice and looked exactly like the photos. We got there when it was dark, so a little hard to find as its in a deep network of neighborhoods. But with the additional directions the host gave us it was very clear!

Bluff House is a serene and beautiful get-a-way in an unbeatable location. The view of the ocean over the bluff is enhanced by the huge, west-facing windows. The host, Beverly, is friendly, responsive, and helpful. We would come back here in a heartbeat.

This place is exactly how it looks in photos. It’s cozy and has all the things you need for a stopover stay. We stayed here on our way to Yosemite and would recommend it!
