Dawniel's Cottage was quaint, clean, and well equipped with the amenities necessary to be a second home. The coastal-themed decor neatly accentuated its location. Despite being in close proximity to the schools, the neighborhood was quite peaceful and quiet. The backyard fountain was pleasant, providing a haven for the occasional hummingbird and a place to contemplate activities for the day. The cottage was centrally located to meet our travel plans. We had a very nice opportunity to visit nearby coastal communities, the unique places, and natural features on a day-by-day basis. We had a most wonderful time. Thank You!

Always wonderful staying here! We have stayed in both sides. Always a clean and comfortable stay! Easy check in and check out. Will continue to seek out every time we come visit Reedsport.

Betsy’s place was just the retreat my friends and I needed. Private, quiet and adventurous walk to the beach. The house had some outdated appliances but everything was well kept and functioning. The only issue was the Airbnb not being cleaned by check in time. The housecleaner showed up late but she was professional and got right to work. Betsy was more than accommodating when she received the news and offered a refund on the cleaning fee. Betsy always communicated within a reasonable time making everything easy. 5/5 recommend this location. Will definitely be booking again in the future.

Very cute little house in a great location. Nice kitchen, which I used, and an awesome shower in the master bath. The host was very friendly and very helpful as I found most of the locals to be. There is a small duplex in the rear that shares the driveway but it wasn’t an issue…I just didn’t recall it in the description. Overall, a great experience and, yes, I would definitely stay here again!

This was a very comfortable house, large but not cluttered. It was a perfect place to have young children. Great location, and it had everything thing that we needed.

We had a fantastic Thanksgiving at the Heron House! The location was great - walking distance to town and to a small beach at the mouth of the river. The beds were comfortable and the kids had a fun time trying out the various sleeping nooks. The kitchen had everything we needed for our Thanksgiving meal. We even got in a round of tennis at the nearby courts. Wish we had visited in the summer to swim in the river. Would definitely stay again!

We loved our stay here! It was perfect for a relaxing family weekend. Location is just unbeatable and the personal touches on the home made it feel so cozy . We loved playing some of the many games provided and found the beds and linens to be so comfortable and cozy! They also provide plenty of all the needed things from dish supplies to extra toilet paper and fresh towels and blankets, and even some fire wood! Would definitely stay here again!

Simply wonderful home literally in the middle of the sand dunes on the beach. Fantastic beach home and super communications with the owners. Don’t miss the halibut fish and chips at Luna in Yachats or Seal Rock, plus outstanding restaurants in Newport and amazing beach hikes at Thor’s Well and Seal Rock. Simply a fabulous week!

A wonderful beach vacation. Highly recommend this house. Close to everything and well stocked with all that you will need!

The house was in a location that was private and easy to get to town for groceries. Views from the house to the ocean were fantastic. The house itself has a lot of stairs which can be a problem for those with ambulatory challenges. Waldport is a quiet town and less touristy, which we appreciated. We loved our 8 day stay there. We also appreciated Jon's flexibility in allowing us to reschedule at the last minute due to a family situation that arose.

We had a relaxing stay looking across the dunes to the ocean. It was beautiful and the house is excellently maintained. In fact, everything seemed new, from the kitchen to an abundance of soft bath towels. Beach access over a dune is right outside or there is flatter access a few houses down. The kitchen has all the basics for cooking in. Heceta Beach is enough north of Florence to feel like a beach community but close enough to have relatively close driving access to several markets and restaurants. One of the best maintained short term rentals we’ve stayed in (and we have stayed in many).

this place was EPIC. we needed a place to rest up and this was perfect. The whole place is windows with the best view of the Ocean and the lighthouse to the North. Jetted tub and shower was amazing. We were within walking distance to our favorite Nye Beach spots. LaDonna was amazing. she answered quickly and was super awesome. we will be coming back.

What a gem! Funky in just the right way--unique, historical without feeling a bit decrepit, artfully decorated, and squeaky clean. Gina was very proactive in making sure what to expect, and being available for issues and questions. Very comfortably furnished, and in an unbeatable location for us, since we like to just park the car until we leave for home. Extremely walkable area, and in my opinion, on one of the best walking beaches in Oregon. We can't wait to stay again!

The location is right off the coast highway so it's a little load at time but pretty much unnoticeable when inside. Just something to consider, didn't bother us at all. Only minor complaint is the hot water for the shower was inconsistent, sometimes it was fine and sometimes it just wouldn't warm up. Overall not a big deal for us. All in all, very clean place, easy beach access and a very good deal for what you pay. Host is great and responsive. Would definitely recommend if you are looking for an easy, fair priced, get away on the coast!

Absolutely perfect stay. The home is beautiful and clean, with a view that is worth every penny! We sat on the deck for hours. It was a perfect place to reset and just be. Would absolutely stay again! One of our favorite places we’ve stayed.

This place was glorious in every possible regard and it was a true blessing to be able to spend the three nights there that we did! My boyfriend caught and baked a delicious bass, we took the kayak for a spin, and connected in a way that I don’t know if we really had been able to before. Thank you so much for hosting us at your beautiful property; I have naught but praise for this incredible place!

We have stayed in quite a few vacation rentals and this is definitely in our top few. All the amenities are as described and the place was super clean. It’s very evident that the host poured their passion and resources in so many thoughtful details. We had a couple of sunny days on the lake but the last day the weather turned and got quite wet. Spending a rainy day indoors with a late breakfast while watching the lake and reading a book might have been my favorite.

Great location! Close to town and the dunes. Beautiful property with awesome views of the lake. We even got to watch the moon rise up over the lake from the living room...very beautiful. The space was very clean and had everything we needed for a very comfortable stay. Thanks!

We wanted a river place and Emily’s place delivered! We so enjoyed our stay here, taking full advantage of the kayaks, the birding, and the chimenea. And it’s just as well appointed inside too: we cooked almost all our meals there.

Everything I wanted and more was taken care of - hosts were INCREDIBLY thoughtful! Great amenities, really comfortable, and I thoroughly enjoyed feeding the ducks with the food provided by the hosts. Would definitely stay again!

The Treetop Studio was an awesome place to stay. From the short walk to the lake, local hiking trails, picturesque hot tub, and amazing amenities and creative comfort offered, this was a great retreat to rest and relax. If we're ever in the area again, we'll definitely be staying here.
