Cozy Log Cabin at Rocky Ridge Outpost #1

RachelRating, 5 stars8 months ago
Our family had an absolutely fantastic time at Jerilynn's place! This place is such a find. It was relaxing and beautiful, and it was such a cozy and comfortable place to stay. It was a wonderful "glamping" style experience. There are lots of beautiful places to fish nearby, and we also floated the Green River. The property itself has tons of great things to do -- a wonderful fire pit, animals nearby, a pond, and lawn games like volleyball and football. We didn't bring a volleyball but a net was set up, and they quickly provided a volleyball for us when we asked if they had one! Hosts are very responsive and kind. They even gave the kids little tokens to buy ice cream at the local market. Highly recommend, and hope to come back again soon!

Dutch John Adventure Outpost—2800 Sq Ft, log home

LeeAnneRating, 5 stars1 week ago
This large log home was exactly as described and matched the photos. Check-in was super-easy plus when we entered the home we were immediately met by the aroma of freshly baking bread! This is a very remote area with no grocery stores and very few restaurants so having a well-stocked kitchen to prepare meals with the groceries you bring with you is essential AND this kitchen is the best of any home we have stayed in—everything you could possibly need to cook & serve your meals. Linens are top-quality, beds & pillows are comfortable, and the home is very clean. In addition Andrew has a coffee set-up like nothing we have seen before! Andrew is an incredible host - so thoughtful, kind, and a great communicator. Thanks Andrew!

Tree Nestled Cabin - Ponderosa G

AnneRating, 5 stars6 months ago
Great little rustic duplex cabin. Escape the modern world here. We had Ponderosa G - little lake was so fun, saw ducks a big heron, fish jumping, minnows off the dock, lots of rabbits and birds. Sadly we never saw one of the famous toads! Peaceful place with comfy-queen beds and a decent mini kitchen set up. Appreciated the slightly larger fridge and the covered porch. They even offered us free firewood for the fire pits each day. We want to come back with a larger group next time. (Also the ponderosa duplexes connect in the middle for big groups) Gift shop adorable and stocked with snacks, restaurant cute and hopping, staff was SO SO nice but no flies to buy-a missed opportunity we think, as everyone around us including us were fly fishers! The trail to the canyon rim overlook was also right out of the property and so calm and also peaceful. Agree with other review- fisherman’s hangout, no tv’s -bring books, own food, stay more than one night, we can’t wait to come back!! LOVED IT

Cozy Log Cabin at Rocky Ridge Outpost #2

JamesRating, 5 stars6 months ago
Unfortunately, our trip was delayed so we were only able to stay one night. The cabin was clean and comfortable with magnificent views all around. It was great to talk with Brian our host; he offered valuable information that only a local would know. Hope to make it back again to check out the nearby native petroglyphs that Brian described. Overall a great stay.

Sheepherder wagon at Rocky Ridge Outpost

RichardRating, 5 stars7 months ago
The sheep herders wagon was very comfortable and private bathroom that accompanied it was beautifully done. I can't say enough about Jerilynn and Brian's responsiveness to an issue I had, they came right down and resolved it quickly. I would definitely stay there again.

Large Charming Yurt at Rocky Ridge Outpost

JustinRating, 5 stars8 months ago
We rented all 3 cabins, the yurt, the teepee and the wagon for our large group for a weekend family reunion. It was amazing. Clean, affordable, rustic feel but glamping style amenities, the cabins were beautiful, the yurt was awesome, the kids loved the teepee. The property had tons to do: volleyball, horseshoes, tetherball, a pond for paddleboats, and a cool petting zoo. Nearby, Flaming Gorge with its famous vistas, fishing, and lake beach fun was a 10 minute drive. Perfect in every way.

IanRating, 5 stars7 months ago
We had an amazing time staying here!! The farm is beautiful and the scenery is absolutely amazing. The camp is so unique and the wagon had everything we needed! The bed was extremely comfortable as well. The running water from the creek was so peaceful and we throughly enjoyed sitting around the campfire at night! We would love to stay here again. Thank you Emily for an unforgettable experience!

Elegant covered wagon glamping experience

AshleyRating, 5 stars7 months ago
WOW. It’s hard to articulate the perfect words to describe this beautifully unique stay. Not only is it absolutely beautiful scenery but the wagons are SO nice and comfortable. Do you ever meet someone and just feel how genuine they are? that’s how I felt about the host & her family. Not only was the stay amazing but they even offered their own chicken & vegetables for us to purchase for dinner. It was one of our favorite dinners of our trip and was delicious! We felt right at home and made so many memories with our sweet boys. If you’re trying to decided where to stay, I 100% recommend this stay to anyone and everyone!
