We loved our stay. What a unique location that’s very close to the Volcano park entrance. Very quit and peaceful. We would surely stay again!

Feel extremely lucky that this place was available for our last minute trip. This was our 3rd trip to Big Island in an attempt to catch the lava, and it was an all-around success! It’s less than a 25-minute drive to Volcanoes NP, which was very convenient. We just needed a place to sleep and wait out the volcano updates, but this Airbnb was definitely a highlight of its own. A perfectly cozy, extremely clean, and thoughtfully constructed gem in the thick of nature. It was absolutely amazing. We will dream of the outdoor shower for years to come. Domino the cat was so adorable and friendly. The laundry room was an excellent amenity. A giant thank you to the hosts for creating such an amazing space and sharing it with us. Hope to be back again!

I have been using air bnb for years. I've used it for trips to different countries, for large parties, and special occasions. This was far and away the most unique and awesome property I have stayed at. The pros: - Super unique, a cozy cabin in what is essentially a rain forest. The owners have spent years building their property and it shows. They have multiple little hang out areas, a hot tub, and a sauna. - The hosts were super responsive, gave local recommendations, and even helped us watch for an eruption (we were there for volcanoes park) - Three cute dogs that greeted us every time we came back home - Clean and updated amenities - A lullaby of coqui frogs every night The cons: - The pictures did not do the space justice. We booked tons of things to do every day, and did not save enough time to hang out and enjoy the property.

We had the pleasure of staying at Bonnie and Davids home and chatting with them. They were welcoming, thoughtful, kind, helpful, and really made our stay more enjoyable and memorable than anticipated and exceeded our expectations. The home is very well equipped with everything  you need especially for travellers that pack light. The place was spacious, bright with lots of windows, spacious terrace to relax outside with a beautiful tropical rainforest garden view.  Good location to be away from busy traffic and the hustle and bustle yet a good central point to explore the whole island of all the beautiful nature attractions has to offer such as the volcanos, waterfalls, beaches etc. Definitely recommend! We wish them all the best!
