We had a wonderful time celebrating my brother's engagement and catching up with old friends! It was super peaceful but also had plenty of room to host a party and have a good time. We would 100% come back. My only warning to those coming here is to bring throw blankets if you are used to always having some.

Melody is a great host! Above and beyond expectations! All the little things you forget, she had there incase it is needed! Keeps the kids busy between pool and gameroom, did not get to check out creek much, but the grounds are beautiful! Will definitely go back!

The home was great and just what we needed and were looking for in our stay.

Host was the best! Their place is very nice and well kept up. If you’re looking for a weekend getaway with a big group, this house is definitely it. The pool was great as well and we enjoyed our weekend stay!

Highly recommend! Center of south bend and just down the road from so much entertainment!

This home was so spacious and beautifully decorated. It was exactly what we needed for a family getaway for Christmas. It was absolutely spotless clean. The beds were very comfortable and it was just all around a great experience. Our hostess was very proactive and very accommodating. I highly recommend this place. We will definitely be staying again.

We had a great stay due in large part to the many special touches throughout the house. Everything was lovely, and Vicki was on top of all communications. I would definitely stay again!

My second stay, first time was with friends this time was with my husband, and it was just as wonderful this time around. Lots of farm animals to see and pet, a beautiful home that was cozy and comfortable and wonderful, kind hosts! We will be back!

On stepping out of the car the calm and relaxation began. What an enjoyable stay. Fresh eggs, strawberry jam, and homemade bread were such a treat. Kitchen well supplied with all pans, dishes, and spices and ingredients we might need. Beds were comfy. Lots of space to spread out or hang out together, as need arose. Loved visiting the animals.

The Joy House is beautifully decorated, full of charm and character. Everything was clean and all the little touches of extra were noticed and appreciated. Cookies, water, snack basket etc.. screened in porch and the front porch are so gorgeous and comfy, I want to stay again so I can spend more time out there. Didn’t get to use the bikes but maybe next time :)

The house was just perfect for our stay. It was clean and tidy, and all the amenities you would want are provided. We saw beautiful sunsets over the hills and enjoyed watching the horses grazing nextdoor. We are very happy we found this rental. It may become a yearly tradition!

Jade was extremely responsive, kind and everything was described. Stayed for the weekend when attending ND game was able to use taxi/uber to get back and forth about 25 mins each way. Beautiful view! Would definetly recommend

Had a wonderful time at Sarah’s place. It was everything we’d hoped and expected it to be.

Marita’s house was perfect for our trip! We had 7 adults and 2 kids and the space was just what we needed. Lots of beds and space to spread out, but also space to be together. The pond was full of fish, there were tons of activities to do (kayaking, canoeing, playing in the sand, fishing, etc.), and the property was beautiful! We will definitely be back!

Lawrence was an incredible host—5/5. This home exceeded our expectations in every way. I traveled with my 96-year-old grandmother and two young children (ages 3 and 4). The home was exceptionally clean—easily the cleanest Airbnb I’ve ever stayed in—and was incredibly kid-friendly. The easily accessible bathroom next to the downstairs bedroom was perfect for my grandmother, making her stay comfortable and convenient. The boat rental process through Lawrence’s recommendation was seamless, adding to the overall experience. I can’t say enough good things about this home, and we truly felt cared for throughout our stay. We hope to book again next year!

This was a great place to have family together for a Notre Dame game.

Sarah, the host, was awesome to work with and easy to communicate with. She accepted a last minute reservation for my son after his hotel overbooked. Her place was clean, relaxing and as advertised. She even offered my son the opportunity to come next door and shelter with them in their basement when severe storms rolled into the area. Highly recommend to anyone-Sarah truly cares about her guest!

Clean, cute and peaceful. The host didn't require a lot of clean up tasks before departure. Kitchen well stocked with utensils to cook.

This was a wonderful place to stay. Keep in mind it is a cottage, it's not large but for 1-2 people it's perfect. I loved the u shaped layout inside. Big TV, comfy couch, nice shower with seat, comfortable bed, nice kitchen, AC and heat work well, laundry room with extra storage, shed for extra storage, off street parking, and nice size front and back yard. And the owners were very nice, responsive, and easy to work with.
