Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Darien

What a lovely place ! I was in town to do some birding around the area. I found the location to be close enough to everything that I needed. You aren't right in town - but everything is within a few minutes drive and barely any traffic. The main bed is incredibly comfortable. The setting is beautiful and quiet. The kitchen is well stocked for cooking. As for coffee (from a person who needs it desperately in the morning!) , there is a drip maker and a packet of coffee grounds as well as sugar is provided. You'll need to get creamer and whatever other sweetener you might like. The television provided regular cable (change the input) or use whatever streaming service you have on your own. There are enough bedrooms and space for a family or large group to be more than comfortable here. I'd stay here again in a heartbeat.

We had an amazing stay! The home was spotless, beautifully maintained, and exactly as described—if not better. The host went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect and communication was fast, friendly, and super helpful. We felt completely at home and will absolutely stay here again. Highly recommend!

Beautiful home in a quiet, central neighborhood adjacent to a community park. We could walk to the beach, restaurants, & the lighthouse area. Grocery stores and boutique shopping are a quick drive. Easy to access, extremely clean and well appointed. Had everything we could possibly need and all was very organized. We loved the welcome note and bottle of wine. It was so wonderful to be able to bring our dog. He enjoyed the park right across the street. The fenced back yard with pool was a great sanctuary after the beach. The pool temperature was perfect without being heated in mid-April. Loved the outdoor shower. The home has tile floors throughout and each bedroom has a walk-in closet w/ hangers! Both bathrooms had all we needed and are very modern and spa like. Jekyll Island, Darien & Brunswick are close enough for a visit, which we took advantage of. The hosts were easy to communicate with, and provided recommendations for restaurants. Can't wait to return! Thank you!!

I recommand more than 100% this lovely property. Everything élément you can think of is perfect. We were impressed but the cleanliness. Lisa was so king and so quick to reply. You see how much love has put been on the house to us feel at home and even better. The Mae will become our place when we’re in SSI. We are so grateful

We stayed at this property evacuating during hurricane Milton. Kathy was very empathetic, responsive, and kind enough to let us check in early. The property was nice and clean, very quiet and great neighbors. Would happily stay here again whenever I come back to the island!

Our family had an amazing stay at Jennifer's home! There were 8 of us plus two small dogs, and we never felt crowded at all. The living room felt so open and roomy and had an expansive marsh view. The decor was very tasteful and not overcrowded, which I really appreciated. It felt like someone's actual home and not just a vacation rental staged to remind you that you're at the beach. The teens/ young adults enjoyed having their own space downstairs with a kitchenette to keep snacks and drinks. We thoroughly enjoyed the outdoor spaces - firepit on the marsh side and hammock tucked away in another part of the yard . The walk to the beach was very easy - a quick walk down to the end of the quiet street and then a trail through a wooded area down to East Beach which was gorgeous and uncrowded. This was maybe a 5 minute walk. We all really enjoyed the trail! My kids thought it seemed like a secret path through the forest. Overall, I would highly recommend Jennifer's home on SSI!

Katherine's cottage was so cozy and comfortable. We came for the Easter weekend and we're so glad we choose a rental off of the islands that were so busy with people and traffic. But still, only a short drive to Jekyll Island. The bed in the master was so comfortable, we loved sitting on the screened-in porch and the rental had everything we needed. We will definitely rent again the next time visiting!

We had such a great time! Adam's place is comfy, has such a wonderful vibe and we made some fun family memories. We love staying in this area and this home is just so relaxing. The street is lovely to walk the dogs, and the house is so nicely stocked. Adam is great at communicating and it was a breeze! Thank you so much, we will be back soon!

We stayed here 3 nights for our 25th wedding anniversary. First time in St Simons. The townhouse was clean and well stocked with everything we could need. We found lots of bed choices and ours was very comfortable. Great having 2 different bathrooms to get ready. Loved the back patio and park like grounds where we walked with our dogs. Pool opens May 1st but we didn’t mind. Loved riding the bikes to East Beach right around the corner. Felt safe with wide sidewalks and explored Bruce Dr which led us to Gould jetty area we loved. Loved the lighthouse view, the pier area for sunsets and shopping. Ate a superb healthy lunch at olive oil market restaurant and romantic fun dinner at rooftop lodge. Hubby really enjoyed exploring Fort Frederica and next door is beautiful Christ church but inside tours are 2-5 so we were too early. Beautiful island with lots to see and do. Enjoyed it tremendously. Madison was attentive and quick to respond any questions. Highly recommend her home.

Great condo near the beach and St. Simons village/pier. Several playgrounds are nearby and the pool is across the parking lot. Very friendly and responsive management.

This studio was perfect for our stay on Jekyll Island. It is located right next to Driftwood beach which was our purpose for visiting. Found some good restaurants with great entertainment and good food- recommended in a very detailed book left in the unit by Michael. We had access to coin laundry while we were there which was wonderful as we are in the middle of our 3 week trip and our other accommodations did not have that option. Thanks again!

We booked this house for our annual family vacation, there were 12 of us, we each had our own space, the house was very comfortable. It had all the amenities you would need for a large group. Pamela was an excellent host, very attentive to our needs and always responded to our calls.

An absolutely beautiful setting in the marsh. Gorgeous 100 year-old oaks, Spanish moss, tons of birds, right on the marsh with creek access. Quick boat ride to the ICW and Sapelo Island from the property dock with gorgeous views. We stayed in the Dogtrot cottage and it was beautifully appointed, lots of amenities and the hosts went out of their way to make us feel welcome with a charcuterie board, local honey, wine, and other local goodies. Perfect place to unwind with family and reconnect with nature. Only 10 min to Darien’s charming restaurants.

Candice was extremely accommodating and helpful whilst we were transitioning to move back to Brunswick. She went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and enjoyed our stay! I can’t thank her enough for her hospitality and for being so helpful ❤️

The home was very clean and fit seven people comfortably. The host thought of everything, and anything we needed was in place ready to go. Bicycles were in excellent condition and the pool was so much fun with the family. There was a closet full of games and lots of thoughtful books and movies for all ages throughout. The host provided advice on how to get the most out of our stay in the area.

The house was great! Less than a mile to restaurants and nightlife. House was clean and ready to live in. kitchen is fully stocked with supplies. All we needed was the food. Highly recommended.

I was concerned by the prior reviews that there would be pet smells in the home. The home is pet friendly, but we did not notice anything. There are no carpets in the home which is very nice. We did not have pets with us, but we found the home to be free of odor and very clean is very convenient to all things in Saint Simons Island, and very private and safe. Highly recommend!

This was a great space! It was free of clutter, very clean, and in a great location. We drove less than 10 mins to the beach, and pretty much everything we wanted to do. The pool was also very well kept.

This place was amazing! I went down to St Simons for my bachelor trip and we had the best time. Walkable to downtown and the beach, house was clean, and there were no problems. The backyard and patio was the perfect place to hangout. We watched the Braves games and enjoyed the weather. Would 100% recommend another trip here.

The place was very nice and comfortable. Our first night there we locked ourselves out by accident. We called the airbnb helpline and eventually got a code to the garage door so we were able to get in the house. The owner called us later and we explained what happened. He was very nice and apologized. We felt safe and the area was nice. We didn't do much as we were moving from the area and needed a place to stay after our belongings had been picked up by the moving company. We stayed 3 nights and were quite comfortable and would recommend the place.
