Places to stay in Corning

I have stayed with Kelsey three times now and I look forward to many more. It is perfect for when I visit my family in Maryville.

Another great stay! Always happy with the space & it is our first go to spot when staying in Winterset.

Great place to stay. The home was larger than what the pictures show. It was clean and well maintained inside and out! Beautiful sunrises and sunsets. We would love to stay here again.

It was everything that I could have asked for. The town is great and everything is walkable. Everyone that I met was amazingly friendly. The apartment was very clean and new. The closets were huge. The only downside that I ran into is lack of a dresser. There is a space for that type of clothing, but it is limited. The view is one of a kind and I can't think of anything that they didn't think of from coffee, to filters and all kitchen amenities that you could ever ask for.

We were very happy with this house and would definitely book again. I also appreciated the host’s timely communications. We didn’t cook so I can’t comment on kitchen utensils but dishes and coffee pot were clean as well as bathrooms and beds. This is a nice house in a good neighborhood and you are close to everything you need.

I stayed at Midwest’s Airbnb as transitioning housing until I found something more semi-permanent as a traveling healthcare worker. It was such a relief (after walking through other properties in Des Moines) to come across this place in West Des Moines! It was clean, spacious, in a fantastic location, and wonderful communication and hospitality given by the host. The deck and garage are an added bonus. Extremely safe location with easy access to downtown. I will definitely be staying again when my family visits!

Another outstanding experience from this host.

This house has character. How fun it was to stay in a house that took us back to our grandparents houses. Darlene had it decorated for the holidays, which was fabulous. She was proactive in making sure we had everything we needed. She even monitored the weather to make sure we were taken care of when it snowed. As our 4 year old granddaughter would say: “two thumbs up! Way up!”

This was a great place! If I could I would come back and stay more than one night. The only things I would mention are that the switch in the kitchen that you think is a light switch is the garbage disposal, so watch out haha, and if you are staying a Saturday night be aware that none of the restaurants in town will be open for breakfast Sunday morning (but that's not Verlin and Shannon's fault). The place is clean, welcoming and peaceful. There were helpful instructions everywhere, and little gifts and amenities throughout. We had no trouble staying warm, plenty of blankets. The coffee is a Keurig. The layout is great, with one of the bathrooms being in a bedroom and the other available to the whole house. All in all it was perfect for us passing through headed north, but if you have reason to be in the area for longer avail yourself of this great place to stay.
