A place to disconnect and venture into a region without tourist influence! 3 hours from Ho Chi Minh City (direct bus), Sa Dec offers beautiful scenery on the Mekong and the nurseries (capital of flowers). We were hosted very well by Phong and his family (his son speaks English very well) who do everything necessary to help you. The cabins are beautiful, rustic and are located around a small closed pond where you can swim. In the bedroom, there was a mosquito net, fans and drinking water (be careful, mattresses are a little hard). We rented bikes (50k vnd/day) and loved strolling around the accommodation (small paths along rivers, away from city traffic). We dined every evening on site (50k to 75k vnd/person) it was delicious and varied, as was the local breakfast (included in the price). We were sometimes disturbed by the very loud karaoke music of the neighbors but this is very common in Vietnam.

Great place! Staffs are friendly and professional. The surrounding is peaceful but not too isolated. We could walk to nearby restaurants and convenient stores with ease. Overall, Lá Homestay worthwhile considering its price range and services.

Really very nice place 10 out of 10. We had a perfect stay. Hanna and especially her boyfriend are incredibly nice. There's a lot to discover there. Above all, the beautiful pagoda with the reclining Buddha (Chua Thien Kim) and the old Viet Cong stronghold (Xeo Quyt) are beautiful. The city of flowers is a bit far away for what it can offer, but since you can rent the scooter from the accommodation (very nice) it is still worth a trip just by the "scooter ferry." However, there are a few points that were less bad for us, but we still could not read out of the listing. The place has no door and the windows cannot be closed which gives the whole a camping vibe. In addition, you have to go out to the toilet where some mosquitoes are waiting in the evening (showers or longer toilet stays are therefore only possible in the morning ;)). We would really come back any time anyway!!!
