I pay attention to the small details and this place had them! Plenty of towels, linens, pillows, blankets, qtips, cotton balls, and a cute welcome basket. The surroundings are beautiful and we can’t wait to come back!

The house was beautiful, and the yard was perfect for our furry friend. Melissa communicated really well and when there was an issue with supplies, she quickly responded and took care of the missing item. So I would highly recommend that people stay at Melissa's place.

We loved the drive back to the house!! We saw families of deer crossing the lane!! The deck overlookimg the lake was beautiful and we watched the ducks and bevers!! Perfect place to get some much needed R&R!!

This place was absolutely amazing! Our plan was to have a family meet up with all the family members/kids and this was perfect. I couldn’t say enough nice things. If you want a nice place to stay, this is it.

My family has been here before and it was during the summer and we loved it sooo much that we came back but this time it’s during spring, we definitely prefer going during the summer but we love this place so much!!! My kids love it ❤️ we loved using the grill and the paddle boats. Would definitely suggest it for families!

Absolute fantastic little cottage for a little get away.

Our time with friends at Sam and Christine’s was perfect! Peaceful and quiet which made for the perfect place to unplug and unwind. Spent hours floating on the very clear lake in the sunshine, visiting on the deck, kayaking, fishing and sitting around the fire pit while watching some of the most amazing sunsets. The house was very clean and comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed for making meals. Sam and Christine’s will defiantly be our choice next year for our annual getaway with friends!

This is a great place. The house was clean and accurately portrayed but what really set it apart were the amenities. Sam thought of everything we would need and had it. Plenty of towels, blankets, kitchen items, condiments, cooking utensils and so much more. The best part were all the lake items. We had kayaks and a boat, two floating mats and plenty of life vests and toys for the kids. He had torches for the bugs, everything was clearly marked. The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful. We spent lots of time in the water and it was right in our backyard. Sam had aluminum foil, off spray, shampoo, and even a basket in the bathroom with toothpaste, eye drops, make up wipes, etc. in the kitchen we had popcorn bags, granola bars, and plenty serving dishes. Everything was there. And also the check out instructions were manageable. Nothing outlandish. Loved that place!! Thank you!

We loved staying at Michael's place. The setting is beautiful and private, and the cottage had exactly what we needed. Michael was a great host - responsive and willing to help.

Thank you so much for your beautiful cottage! Our family loved it. The area is so pretty-breathtaking really. The cottage is beautifully renovated and adorable. We were not able to go boating this trip, but we definitely hope to be back and to go out on the pontoon boat. There's so much more hiking we would love to do, but our family came to town to visit relatives, and celebrate our dad's 90th birthday, so our time here was focused on that. We were so glad that it was a mere 10 minutes to get to Chelsea and the assisted living where he is staying. Thank you also for the thoughtful welcome gifts! This listing surpassed my expectations. I knew that I was headed to small town Indiana, but this place made it seem as if we were at a special getaway. There were so many extra amenities like canoes and kayaks and high chairs for kids. As someone traveling with a toddler, their attention to kid-friendly details was greatly appreciated. I highly recommend staying here!

Stayed for a weekend with mom and sisters. Excellent for what we needed! David was communicative when we needed recommendations or had issues (minor ones like switches not working, etc). Would definitely stay again!

We had such a phenomenal time at the cottage. The family that owns the place is incredibly kind and welcoming. Truly made us feel at home and it’s an incredible location for a small get away. We’re very appreciative of the hospitality and opening their home

Jimmy's place was the best experience!!! I was able to bring my dog and it had a fenced in yard which made the trips awesome for her. The location is near Bronson Hospital so it made visiting my mom after heart surgery WAY less stressful. This was my 2nd stay in the last two weeks and I will for sure be back again. Jimmy's place has SO MANY fun games to play in the basement and next time I hope to take advantage of them. The neighbors were so nice and even one gave my dog, Jelly, a treat!! I love the handmade soap that is included.....smells AMAZING! Super easy to check in and super fast responses from hosts. THANKS TO YOU BOTH!!!

We have stayed here two years in a row for our annual sisters’ trip and plan to stay again next year. It’s clean and in a quiet neighborhood. It’s right in the center of the shopping and restaurants we like to visit. Great place to stay!

This house was perfect for our girl's trip to see a concert at the Blue Gate Inn. We walked right across the street from the house and ate dinner at the yummy Blue Gate Inn restaurant then walked the 1 mile walk all on sidewalks/safe to the concert. Would absolutely stay here again and recommend this house for a weekend getaway!

Redge is by far a “5 star host”!! Truly kind and considerate. One of the best hosts we’ve ever had. Without a doubt, he went above and beyond to make our stay pleasant, convenient and all encompassing. While he was not required to, he went to the trouble of stocking the kitchen with breakfast foods, snacks and plenty of coffee. Didn’t even need to go to the store. What a huge! convenience that we greatly appreciated. Most Airbnb hosts do not consider providing any of this at all. We rented for our son’s WMU graduation weekend. Location is perfectly close to campus. Notably, unit is a duplex and not a stand alone house, with Redge staying in the attached unit next to the rental and is situated on a somewhat “main” road. Neither were issues for us. Garage was questionably sized for our rental Chevy Tahoe but perfect for smaller vehicles. Otherwise, plenty of room to park in the driveway and it’s large size makes it easy to turnaround for ease of exit and entry. Thx for everything Redge!

Michele and Phil’s “The Villa Goshen” was a perfect location and provided all the amenities and space our family needed for our visit. The first night, a storm came through; a tornado warning was issued, sirens rang, and lightening hit right next to the house. Michele communicated during the whole event to make sure all of us were aware and stayed safe. Michele and Phil make this home both comforting and welcoming to their guests.

Good little farm house for a great value and price. Clean, warm, beds, hot shower, and a coffee pot, all we needed when coming to bair lake Bible camp for the weekend. Host responsive and very flexible. There is one pic with a bunk bed that is not there anymore. It’s a king bed instead. Also is right on M-60 and road noise is a factor for sleeping if that bothers you, didn’t bother us as we used fans and sound machine. We will probably be using this place again next year this time and will see about getting both houses for more of our guys to sleep at for the men’s retreat at bair lake. Thanks Buffy and Kevin.
