Always a pleasure to stay at Tara’s place.

I loved my stay at the Mallory Hideout! Such a sweet, quirky, comfortable home. My cats and I loved the spiral staircase, and the soaking tub upstairs was a favorite place of mine! The beds were both super comfy, and the little outside front yard is kept up perfectly and a lovely place to relax. The large trees around the house keep it feeling very private! I was able to walk to a few bars and restaurants and even a dispensary (about a mile walk), and multiple parks are in walking distance as well! If I had any questions the hosts got back to me extremely quickly and were very helpful and friendly. I loved everything about my stay. Thanks for welcoming me and my kitties to Portland!!

My stay at Gretchen's was great from start to finish. She was super helpful with my last-minute booking request. Her place was absolutely lovely and gave me the perfect spot for some alone time during my drive between Portland and Seattle. The area is gorgeous, just outside the town, but still convenient. The space was clean, comfortable, and had everything I needed. Definitely recommend if you're passing through or looking for a peaceful getaway!

Great space! Very roomy, comfy king bed. Private neighborhood, all the spring trees were in bloom...just beautiful street! This was our second stay! Always great!

Great spot to get away

We enjoyed our stay. The home was very clean, the directions were very easy to follow, and the owner was always responsive to my questions. The beds were comfortable. We appreciated the extra large shower towers, the coffee available and the welcome snacks. The home was super cozy. Our only regret was we did not reserve more nights. The morning view in the backyard was breathtaking. We loved seeing Mount Hood, the river below and all the trees in the distance. The doggies were so friendly. We definitely will reserve this home again the next time we are in the Portland area.

Joanne’s beach house is truly an Airbnb, not just a vacation rental. This is one of those houses where you immediately feel at home and comfortable in and everything you could possibly need is there. The view is lovely and location is convenient but what makes this place truly special is the host. Joanne was extremely kind and friendly. We felt genuinely cared for during our stay. Our family of four along with our dog Charlie made so many great memories here. We love Manzanita area and this was a great base. Easy walk to beach and to town from the beach. We all slept soundly and made good use of the pool table, DVD collection and the fireplace. I loved having my morning coffee on the deck and taking in the birdsong. We cooked many meals and had all we needed in the kitchen. Joanne spoiled us with local coffee and chocolate as well. We will definitely be back!

This place is magical! It’s on the edge of the forest and a few blocks to ocean. After a morning soak in the awesome hot tub on deck we walked in to the forest. It was awe inspiring under the huge canopy of trees. I felt so connected to Mother Nature at that moment. The home was spotlessly clean on arrival with a number of beds and enough space for a large family. Very comfortable and well stocked, even had a pet basket, we felt right at home. Wished we could have stayed longer and are already making plans to come back this summer. Kylee was very accommodating, we booked last minute and she extended us a late checkout so we could have a lazy morning and enjoy the place. 100% recommend this place!

This is the second time we have rented form Marv. It’s a great location and lots of room to spend time with family.

Love, love, love the Mermaid Escape! The house is so adorable and feels like a home away from home. The location is amazing! It's just a 5 min walk to the beach and on the way you pass a general store (which has about everything including firewood for the beach), a Mexican restaurant, and a brunch place. If you need anything else, it's just a 5 min drive away. The jacuzzi and fire pit on the deck are divine, and the two large soaking tubs put this place over the top! The owner, Lynnet, was super responsive and sweet. I highly recommend this place to anyone who is looking to feel like they are at a home-away-from home while also on a vacation. Elizabeth and Patrick were very responsive to all questions asked, assisted with check in and made sure we had everything we needed to enjoy the stay! Great location, great views and very comfortable home!

Bryan was a wonderful host. Very attentive and helpful. The house was everything we imagined and more. Clean and with plenty of amenities. And the beds were heavenly. Our kids loved the variety of activities at the house, especially the hot tub and large yard for playing football. We hit some of the recommended sites and places Bryan provided us and they did not disappoint. Wanda’s was a favorite and we explored Cannon Beach for the first time. Cute costal town. Would love to come back and enjoy a longer stay.

This cabin exceeded the description. The kitchen was equipped with every thing you'd need to cook. The family room was cozy and perfect with wood stove. The spa bathroom is an amazing find in a cabin. The upstairs rooms and extra space let us have a reading nook. The backyard was large, with a huge fire pit. There were s'mores ingredients as a welcome gift. The beach is closer than the map looks. Just steps away. I'll be staying here again.
