Waterfront vacation rentals in Cheat River

Had a wonderful stay at this spotless apartment with a lovely view of the confluence of rivers. The host was responsive and helpful. We felt at home with everything we needed, from the well-supplied kitchen to the comfortable living room, spacious dining room and luxurious bedroom suite with its own deck door. We had breakfast and coffee on the huge deck while enjoying ducks and boats on the water. Heard trains but slept fine. Being able to lock our bicycles in designated storage was a huge plus, as was the convenience of having bikes right outside the door for a beautiful ride on the treelined Great Allegheny Passage trail to OhioPyle in the state park 10 miles away. A fawn nibbled berries as we arrived for an incredible dinner at the Riversedge Cafe, a short walk from the apartment. The Confluence Convenience mart was open when we needed supplies on a Monday evening. And so glad we stopped at the nearby Tissue Farm for Chai, scone and art on our way out to Kentuck Knob - a must-see!

Kara’s loft is very modern and functional. It’s both spotlessly clean and welcoming. Our two families of 7 enjoyed our two-night stay. Visited the famous Fallingwater, and made good use of the well-equipped kitchen for warm family gatherings. Thank you, Kara, for the opportunity to stay in this unique unit.

We only stayed one night but enjoyed the place a lot. The coffee shop downstairs is excellent. And the owner was very responsive and helped us recover something we left behind.

The Lucky Duck is a very calm and relaxing place to stay. We enjoyed the views and the local population of ducks and geese who welcomed us as we came and went. The place was spotless & spacious and had all the little things we needed for a great visit. Would highly recommend booking.

Alison was wonderful and so kind to accommodate a special request for us. We took our first trip with a new baby and the Airbnb was perfect. Great location. Clean space with everything we needed. My 4 year old slept on the pull out couch which was a great / comfortable one! Great place. Highly recommend.

A comfortable, spotlessly clean little apartment. Everything was as described. Diana was responsive to our questions but was not intrusive at all. We had a bonfire outside, sat on the front porch, listened to the trains, and walked around town. Enjoyed a couple of great meals at the River's Edge Cafe, just a short walk away. A great experience. Very convenient to the GAP for biking. We had a couple of minor issues, but these were addressed quickly. The beds were comfortable.

Mary’s place was great! It was a huge space and had lots of things for us, like games, extra towels, lotion, shampoo, conditioner, soap, eggs, condiments, coffee, half and half, fully stocked kitchen, and so much more! She also gave us a later check out which helped us get our kids up and moving without having to rush. Her communication was also quick. We had a wonderful experience this past weekend! The listing was accurate and well explained. Gabriel was very helpful and communicated openly and frequently. We had an amazing time during our week in April. The house was exactly as described, so many fun things to do with the family. Idalia and Denny are very responsive and helpful! What a great place to enjoy nature and relax with the family!

This place was beautiful and incredibly clean. We just spent one night there but we will definitely gonna rent it again in the future. The house was fully equipped and made our stay way more comfortable. The only detail is that it doesn’t actually fit 8 people, unless someone wants to sleep on the couch, other than that, we loooveed this place. And the host is very nice and responded quickly.

What a nice, comfortable cottage backing onto the Cheat River! The back porch is great for morning coffee & breakfast & the kitchen is spacious & well-equipped. Rowlesburg is close to many nice areas for hiking/biking & an easy hour drive to Morgantown to visit our son. One thing I always appreciate about being home in WV (grew up near the Ohio River) is the open-ness & friendliness of the locals just about anywhere I go.

We loved this property and our condo. The lake was so beautiful and immediately accessible from our balcony. The entire property was beautifully maintained and updated, with all the most charming original touches. The restaurant onsite was convenient and good (Ace’s Run). The other patrons and staff were friendly and for the price it was an incredibly great deal. The only thing that could be improved are the window coverings. The sun rise is directly across from the balcony windows, which is also right where the bed is. The blinds really don’t keep any light out at all, so we were happy to start our days there early, but every day pretty much starts at sunrise with the blinds as they are. But otherwise the condo was truly perfect. Completely cozy and well appointed with convenient features!

Great place in a cool little town. Her place was nicely furnished and decorated. It was imma I late. The sprawling layout of the multiple units made would make it easy to have as much privacy as you want while providing an opportunity to engage with others if you chose to do so. We enjoyed playing on the lawn by the levee on the river. Her yard is at the confluence of two rivers. Diana was an outstanding host - very cheerful and helpful in guiding us to destinations.

I can't say enough great things about this place! it was so cozy and comfortable! My friend and I went for a girls getaway weekend to relax and this was so ideal! They even prepped the fireplace for us! I would definitely come back here and wouldn't even think of going anywhere else!

We had a great one-night stay at Trailside Guest Suite. The property matched the online description and it was in a perfect location in the town. Would definitely return for another stay and would recommend to others.
