Vacation rentals with lake access in Calvert County

Hyrum & Lisa's place was perfect for our needs. We were working in the area and long shifts and the home was large and spacious for the 4 people staying there. We changed our end date a few times and Hyrum and Lisa were gracious and accepting of the changes, which really helped ALOT! The home is located in a beautiful area and was peaceful and had all amenities that you needed for your stay! Comfortable bedding and spaces to relax! We would stay again and thank you Hyrum and Lisa!

The house is a good size with plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms to comfortably accommodate all 9 of us. Beautiful, peaceful location right on the water. Abraham was very responsive to any questions we had and was a great host. Easy check in and check out, tidy and clean, nice size rooms, comfortable beds and pillows. Each bathroom also had extra toothbrushes, toothpaste, mouthwash, soap, Advil, etc. which is such a great extra touch! Would definitely recommend staying here!

The area and view are beautiful and the home's decor is welcoming. The home was very comfortable for our family group and had a VERY well-stocked kitchen. The master bed was VERY comfortable as were the rest of the beds. My husband and I slept well. We all felt at home. MJ was very responsive when I had questions and communicated about the property in clear, concise language. The host provided many outdoor recreation opportunities, which included paddleboards, kayaks, and life jackets. There was a nice sized pool but we were visiting out of season so we did not use it. The exercise room downstairs has a lot of equipment. We all enjoyed our time together. Our family is asking to come back again next year. Thanks for a great stay!

The location for this house is beautiful! We loved the private dock and spacious backyard. We stayed in late March so it was a bit cold some days but we still had a great time using the provided Kayaks and sitting on the dock and watching the beautiful surroundings. The location was perfect to have some s'mores nights around the firepit. The hosts were VERY responsive. The few times I had questions they replied within minutes and were very accomodating with our requests. They were very proactive with instructions and generously mentioned a foldable crib for the infant in our group - although we had our own that we used. The kitchen had all of the dinnerware and cookware that we needed for the meals that we made. The living areas were open and inviting. It was perfect for our group. One thing to watch for is the very steep driveway. It took a few times to get used to. We would definitely stay there again when we visit our family in the area.

I had a great stay at Edna's! It was a wonderful place to rest after long work days. Edna asked what temperature we wanted the place and we chose 70 degrees. One of the bedrooms got much warmer than that, and one of the bedrooms was much colder than the target temperature. I know the thermostat was new to them, but that is my only small complaint. Everything else was excellent!

My wife, 4 year old son and I enjoyed a week at John’s beautiful home on the Patuxent River. The house and property were perfect and the views were amazing every day. The house had everything we needed and we felt right at home. He was very responsive and helpful when we had questions. We look forward to staying here again in the summer!

Holly’s place was perfect for my long term stay. She was an excellent host, very responsive and thought of the small details. Location is superb! Great restaurants nearby and beautiful water view.

I cannot say enough about Paul! Proactive, great recommendations and an all-around fantastic fellow! My children, two dogs, and I had a wonderful time and would come back in a heartbeat! The place itself is immaculate and has a gorgeous view of the Chesapeake Bay. Minutes from the Naval Academy and an easy ride to the Greenbelt metro so we could catch a DC United game in the city.

Great above-garage apartment. Fully equipped kitchen, large bathroom, and comfortable king bed with walk in closet. Location is directly off the highway but not at all noisy. Had a little trouble finding the location (I accidentally drove past it the first time) but eventually realized I was at the wrong place. 10 minutes to downtown Annapolis.

What a wonderful place for a peaceful, lakeside getaway. Upon entering the space i immediately wanted to move in! So cozy and spacious with great natural light. I loved watching the sun set beyond the lake. Kevin was a gracious and responsive host. I felt very welcome and cared for. Highly recommend!

Wow! Absolutely beautiful place in a lovely private community. Walkable to water views. Easy drive to all things Annapolis. Clean, quiet, and safe for a solo traveler. Kathleen was kind and helpful and has thought of everything to make this a perfect stay for her guests. Parking was easy and off street. Comfortable bed and furniture. Truly felt like I was home! Don’t hesitate to book!

We needed a quiet and private space to relax. Jordan’s space was all of this. We stayed here for a month and hardly ever heard Jordan and her family. Jordan was quick to respond if we had any questions. The bed was very comfortable and the views of the water were nice.

We loved it here!!! We even added an extra night!!! Everything was absolutely perfect- we loved sitting on the porch and having a glass of wine every night! Jill was so accommodating- would love to come back someday ❤️

A fantastic weekend getaway! Natalie’s home is beautifully located, offers spectacular views, and is incredibly well appointed with thoughtful touches like extra plush towels and spices and coffee. We enjoyed everything and even though the weather did not cooperate we had days of exploring the natural beauty, history, and local towns.

Suuuuch a beautiful place. Beautiful stay. The hosts made everything 10xs better. Everything was super clean. Stayed for Thanksgiving and realized we forgot our turkey blaster and couldn’t find one at the house (the one thing they didn’t have because they had everything!). After mentioning it to the hosts, we had one delivered in less than 30 min. Can’t say enough about them and their attentiveness. Will be back!

Absolutely amazing host and home! This was our second stay at Kyli's listings and we will continue coming back. Super responsive and friendly, we felt completely comfortable and safe throughout our trip. The amount of outdoor amenities provided here made our spring break a memorable one. Would reccommend to anyone interested in having a 5 star trip!

We had a wonderful stay at Loon Cottage. The cottage was clean and spacious- linens and beds were comfy, and the kitchen was equipped with all essentials. The neighborhood is picturesque and quiet- we loved taking walks, and watching ducks visit in the yard. The sunroom was our favorite part of the house. Thanks for a lovely stay!

Heather’s place is a little paradise on the water. Peaceful, quiet, and perfect for some real rest and relaxation. The house was exactly as described—spotless, all new, and super comfortable inside, with beautiful outdoor spaces to enjoy. Annapolis is just a short 25-minute drive away if you’re looking for great food and things to do. Communication with Heather was easy and fast. I’d come back anytime I’m in the area again!

This was our second stay with Bob and Lolly in Tall Timbers, and it did not disappoint! Immersed in books and history, this quaint cottage was the perfect getaway. We are looking forward to our next visit!

This was the 2nd time we stayed at Harris Cove. Beautiful property just a few minutes from St. Michaels. The cottages are cozy and have everything you need. We love it there and will be returning. Alex and Jaimie are awesome hosts and greeted us upon arrival. Wonderful long weekend away that is relaxing and alot of to do as well!
