Where to start... just a marvelous stay with marvelous hosts. Larry & John are so hospitable and warm and have put so much love and care and attention to detail into this airbnb experience. It is truly a ✨rest✨ stop and oasis in the middle of gorgeous Arkansas woods near the bustling historical tourist destination that is Hot Springs. The space is modern while being homey, spacious while feeling cozy, and so comfortable you can truly just relax. If you are someone who has a hard time relaxing, book your stay immediately and experience the healing energies of the hot springs in town, the untouched nature, and your heart-full hosts.

Christy’s place was just what we needed. Spotless and cozy and we felt right at home! The description was spot on and well worth the money!

About a 20 minute drive outside of Hot Springs Very cozy, perfect for two. We enjoyed cooking out on the grill since we grabbed some fresh meat from Weldon’s Meat Market in Hot Springs before we headed out. If you’re looking for a fabulous breakfast, make the 10 minute drive to Sunshine Store and Cafe. The biscuits are homemade and everything else was delicious! Again, make the drive to Wards Crawfish for dinner, if you’re into that… FABULOUS 🦞 crawfish!! We really enjoyed hanging out at the cabin and spending some much needed quite time together. Would book again if we come back to this area!

We enjoyed our stay in this clean & comfortable cabin. The location was great, the cabin sits off the road a bit & we rarely saw anyone driving by. The firepit was convenient, we cooked our dinner over the open fire. It was great to be so close to the crystal mine we visited for the day. I've already shared this listing with friends & am looking forward to coming back.

The cabin was a great place to stay. The kitchen was well equipped. The bathroom sink was interesting. No problems except a possum visitor one night. If you want to have peace and quiet, this is your place. Beware, Google prefers the dirt road approach. Listen to Kelly about the best way to get there. We had a wonderful stay.

Nice cabin with good surroundings. It is a good nature scene, but keep in mind the cabin is a bit near the road, so you can see cars through the trees from your balcony. Just letting anyone know in case you are looking for 100% remote. Still a very nice cabin and good hosts and plenty of nature things to do.

We spent our pre-wedding moon here and SO glad we did. This cabin is one of the most beautiful we’ve ever stayed in. And to know the hosts harvested this wood themselves feels like the most special passion project to be able to enjoy. There were so many things the hosts went above and beyond on. Supplies for breakfast- including fresh eggs from their hens, wine, seasonings, soaps for the bathroom, homemade private trails for us to enjoy. We cannot recommend this location enough. It was truly perfect in every way. We will be back some day! Thank you so much Lance and Cinda ❤️

Our family travels extensively throughout the year, and have visited the Hot Springs area multiple times. This was our first time staying at this rental or in the Lake Ouachita area. This rental is secluded on a hill overlooking the water. Even though there are neighbors, it feels very private. The porches were are favorite place to drink coffee, grill, or just enjoy the scenery. We spent many a night in the hot tub, and our three daughters loved the downstairs game room and living space. The beds were so comfortable, and the bathrooms were spacious. The entire home is a great size for a family, or even multiple families. The rental was well appointed with everything we needed for our visit. Also, even though you are secluded you are less than 20 minutes from all the Hot Spring attractions, and less than 15 minutes from Wal-Mart in case you need anything. It is a beautiful home, and Eric was gracious host who tended to our every need. We will definitely be back next year.

We really enjoyed our week at the Oyster House. The canoe and stand-up paddleboard were amazing to enjoy Lake DeSoto. We saw so many birds and enjoyed the comfort. Only minor challenge was the sleeper couches are not very comfortable- recommend bringing a sleeping pad if you have more people than beds. But overall we loved it.

We enjoyed our stay at the village and the house was very cozy. It was quiet and peaceful. We loved walking the trail thru the village and would recommend it.

Very nice house, clean, comfortable, and in a quiet neighborhood. The river in the back is fantastic (even though I didn’t catch any fish!). The pool table, table tennis, and Pit Boss smoker really add to the entertainment. Everything was great, and we’ll definitely stay there again when we get the chance.

Our family loved staying on the lake here! It was quiet and perfect for seeing the sunrise making breakfast and heading into town for a bit. We loved grilling and heading the Desoto Beach for the sunset each night!!! Perfect family getaway!

This place was a perfect getaway for us. Felt right at home and nature. Peaceful and great. Definitely recommended for families looking for a peaceful vacation. Aimee also was very proactive in reaching out and sharing helpful directions and instructions

Great little cabin on the lake. Quiet and peaceful.

Bill and Alison have put a great deal of love and care into their cabin. The view from the front porch is gorgeous. They even put out some deer feed so that the beautiful deer would visit, which they did. There’s some nice bird watching on the porch also. We saw red-breasted grossbeak and indigo bunting! The place is quiet!! No streetlights either. The winding road up from downtown offers many opportunities to stop for a bike ride and hike. Everything was perfect and I would definitely stay here again. Thank you, Bill and Alison for your wonderful hospitality!
