Vacation rentals in Big Rapids

Worth every penny. The perfect spot to getaway where you still are alone in nature! Even though you won’t have cell service, the cabin is equipped with Wi-Fi! Works wonderful. When we first got the booking, Sarah messaged asking what brought us there and left us the cutest anniversary gift when we walked in on the table. Loved that there wasn’t a laundry list of tasks to do when checking out which made it really worth the trip too!! My dog LOVED their hill, and running up and down catching his ball and smelling all the different scents. Still within a hour drive to visit the dunes and National forest. We stayed for an extended weekend and it was perfect! Highly recommend

This is our second time staying. I can’t say enough good things about our stay. There is a very nice large open area. Not sure if the pictures do it justice. The kitchen is wonderfully stocked as if you were at home. Two bedrooms and bath are on one side of the house and the other bedroom and bath are on the other side making it great for two families. We skied at Caberfae which is a short 10 minute drive. Janette reached out to us prior to arrival to let us know the check in instructions. Everything went very smoothly. We are already planning next years trip, and will definitely return. Highly recommend !!!

What an absolute "gem" in the woods. We couldn't have asked for a better host. Jennifer was very receptive and periodically checked "to make sure" everything was okay. The house was in a secluded and quiet wooded neighborhood. There is something to be said about enjoying a hot cup of coffee sitting and the porch and taking in the sights and sounds of autumn and the smell of the fallen leaves. The dogs had a great time exploring the fenced in yard. I have a passion for cooking and found the kitchen supplied with an abundant supply of cooking utensils and pots and pans with a large kitchen table to sit down and enjoy those dishes. Quiet time in the evenings were spent watching movies in the family rooms. The house is centrally located and never more than an hour away from our daily adventures in various areas in the state. We thoroughly enjoyed our vacation and would gladly stay here again.

Exactly as described. Had a comforting older home grandma feel. All the furniture was comfortable. Loved the recliners! Loved the foos ball, fireplace thingy in the basement, deck, outdoor fire pit and the wildlife! Had some frustration with the heating system. Theres a weird mix and match heating system with no written instructions on how to control the heating. There is no air conditioning at all which made for some discomfort on days it reached the 50s. Enjoyed our stay! Home was really clean! Love that bedding and furniture was not white!

We had the best stay ever!! Slept great! Brilliantly located! Enormously spacious! Pool table in the basement. Plenty of windows and sunlight. Deer. Golf course. Peace. Stocked kitchen and coffee machine. What more could you want? Already looking forward to next year!!

It’s an amazing place to stay, and great cabin with beautiful view, extremely relaxing, was an amazing host even left us cookies!!

It was a great spot. We loved all the recommendations and amenities. We did had to clean some spider web from the doors and windows but other than that it was good.

The house is just as described and the place is spotless clean. All details are prepared with so much attention and care. It was a real pleasure to stay there over the Easter holidays. I would recommend Dawn’s place without a doubt!
