Amazing place to stay so close to the beach.

We had an absolutely amazing short getaway! Our two-night stay at Doug & Chris's place was everything we needed - clean, stylish, peaceful, and full of good energy. The house has two balconies, each with its own vibe — the upper one with a beautiful open view of the ocean, and the lower one facing a lush, green forest with a roof overhead. Now, it rained a lot during our stay (we're talking full-on "sky forgot to turn off the tap" kind of rain!)😂, so if we wanted to sip tea while enjoying the ocean view, we'd probably need snorkels!😊 But honestly, the sound of rain and the cozy atmosphere made it all the more special. Everything in the house was so thoughtfully set up, with every little detail covered. It felt like one of those places where you just want to sink into the couch, sip something warm, and say, "Yep, 1 could totally live here." Huge thanks to Doug & Chris for sharing their beautiful space with us. Definitely going on our "must-return" list — rain or shine! Thank you guys

Cath’s place is absolutely perfect for two families. We stayed over January and we all had a great time. Kids enjoyed the games room downstairs and parents enjoyed wines on the deck looking out to the ocean. Cath is very generous with her home and we would definitely return!

This is my 3rd visit to Cockatoo House. We keep coming back as it has all that we need to look after the show dogs, and attend the Royal Show. Great bathroom, all kitchen amenities Off street parking for several cars. Plenty of space outdoor, undercover. Several living areas inside too.

This is the second time we have stayed there when visiting Canberra. The house is fantastic and well set up for families. It is well placed to travel into Canberra for activities. I love the little things that are provided such as breakfast items and some milk giving us a chance to settle in before needing to think about shopping. Highly recommend and look forward to staying there again for our next family trip to Canberra.

We had a wonderful long weekend at Binda! From the moment we arrived, it was clear Kim had thoughtfully set up her home with comfort in mind. After mornings spent exploring rock pools and swimming at peaceful Garden Bay (just a short five-minute walk away), the practical outdoor shower and hose reel made cleaning up quick and easy. The well-stocked kitchen was genuinely useful, making meal preparation stress-free—a welcome upgrade from the usual rental setup. Despite the unexpectedly warm weather, we stayed comfortable thanks to the brand-new AC + nice ceiling fans in each bedroom. Reliable Wi-Fi was also a bonus, especially given the patchy mobile reception common along the coast. The location was perfect, close to Malua Bay shops, Bateman' Bay restaurants, and excellent pizza at Batehaven. We even had a friendly kookaburra regularly visiting from across the road! Kim is an outstanding host—responsive, friendly, and thoughtful. Highly recommended; we’ll be back for sure!

Thoroughly enjoyed my stay here! The beds were incredibly comfy and bathrooms were clean and showers had great water pressure. It would’ve been nice to know before we booked that the sofa bed cost extra, but overall the place was amazing.

Stephanie is an amazing host. This property was not only in a brilliant position but it exceeded all our expectations. We stayed here to celebrate my 60th Birthday with our adult children, partners and our 2 small dogs. The yard is great for dogs although the side gate may not be great for some small dogs as they may get through. We solved this by placing the bins there which worked a treat. Stephanie has indicated that she will look at adjusting this. The house is immaculately furnished and stocked with all the essentials and more. Stephanie was very responsive during our stay when we had some queries, providing us with locations of EV chargers, activities & places to dine. The house is walking distance to Malua Bay Shops. Raymond’s Chinese is delicious. Club Malua has great food, cocktails & Barefoot Bowls.The pool was very clean and refreshing on hot days. The table tennis was enjoyed by all adults. The layout of the house allows for plenty of spots to chill out. We will be back.

Fantastic spot for a weekend getaway! Perfectly suited for two families, with plenty of space for the kids to run around and enjoy themselves. The house is modern, spacious, and thoughtfully designed, making it a comfortable retreat. It’s conveniently located near all of Canberra’s main attractions, yet nestled in a quiet and peaceful neighborhood. The kitchen is fully equipped, and essential cleaning supplies are provided, making the stay even more seamless. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it!

Jeremy’s apartment is in an amazing location. It’s close to everything you will want or need on your holiday. There are great cafes and restaurants just around the corner. The Canberra Centre with a multitude of shops is just a couple of blocks away. The apartment is clean and well stocked so you can happily cook at home if you choose. Canberra is vibrant and easy to get around, with something for everyone. Jeremy’s apartment is a great base!

The apartment is perfectly located right in the heart of Canberra. There are loads of amazing restaurants a short walk away, the tram is across the road, Lake Burley Griffin is a 10 minute cycle, and Coles etc. is a 5 minute drive. There is everything you need for a self-catered stay and the apartment was very comfortable to hang out in while not out exploring Canberra. The access to the swimming pool, sauna, and gym was great and our boys loved playing in the pool. Having the secure car spot was a great addition too as we could safely store our bikes in the underground car park. Although the apartment is in a central location it was nice and quiet in the complex at night and so there was no disturbance to our sleep. Aaron was very friendly and responsive with his messaging. We experienced some internet issues on arrival and Aaron was straight onto it, even contacting the internet provider to check on any outages in the area. I would recommend Aaron's place for a stay in Canberra.

Aaron's place had everything we need. The kids enjoyed the pool very much. Place was clean and everything worked well. We will definitely come back.

The property is ideally located within walking distance of local attractions, cafes, and shopping, making it very convenient. The availability of a dedicated parking space was especially helpful for our family with two young children. The hosts were wonderful—extremely helpful and responsive throughout our stay. Overall, a highly enjoyable experience.

Location was excellent. Nice walk to the beach each day for a swim and shops were just 50 metres away. All the required amenities were available in the house. Very well equiped.

Scott's place was an absolute pleasure to stay at. Very cozy, quiet and peaceful, with a stunning night sky. The location was very good as it was a 15 minute drive to Merimbula and ideal for trips to Eden and Pambula. Scott was very helpful - for example, when we didn't have hot water, he worked for hours to get it fixed for us and we appreciated it a lot. We also loved playing with Francis the dog!! Would highly recommend this place.

We really loved our stay at Rowie’s, great location close to the beach, local shops, restaurants. The house was absolutely perfect for our family with dog and Maxine is very helpful, accommodating and responsive!

We loved our stay! Tucked away in a quiet residential neighbourhood, about 15 minutes drive from town, it’s the perfect peaceful retreat after a day of exploring. Beautiful outdoor area and deck to sit in (north facing) with lots of greenery. Living spaces and bedrooms were drenched in northern sunlight (with huge sloping ceilings). Place was clean and as described in the listing / photos. Our two doggos also loved the stay and were very comfortable. Walking distance to some nearby cafes / restaurants including a vegan cafe and vegan ramen bar. Overall, would recommend for your stay in Canberra!

We absolutely loved our stay here. The yard area was perfect for our dog, with secure fencing and plenty of space. The studio was set up with everything we needed for a long weekend. Location was perfect - walking distance to the beach and to the inlet and only a 10 minute drive to Mollymook, Ulladulla and Milton. Hosts are super friendly and helpful. Excellent spot for a little getaway, we’ll be back!

A lovely oasis in Mollymook beach. Great for our family of 4, very clean and comfortable and spacious for a guesthouse, with beautiful green yard, gardens and surroundings. The host communicated well and was friendly and helpful. A perfect getaway to the South Coast and would definitely recommend this accommodation and visit again in the future.

Helen was great host. An excellent communicator. The cottage is perfect as a base to explore the area with a secure space for the dog. I would stay there again if I needed somewhere close to Canberra and outlying areas. It was very peaceful
