Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Assateague Island

Wow. The pictures don't do this place justice -- at all. What an extraordinary layout, especially for larger groups who all enjoy a bit of personal space and quiet. There are nooks and spots for everyone and everything, from the awesome pool area to the endless spots to sit and read a book or enjoy some coffee. And Ann! What a gem. She bent over backwards to answer questions and make us feel at home, even providing us with special coffee and food recommendations. I've been using Airbnb for a while now -- and Ann is the #1 host I've ever come across. I mean...she's a joy. Her place, of course, is amazing and you'd be a fool not to stay! 10 Stars!

Penelope was so helpful and very responsive! We loved the camping feel, but also how close the beach was! It was a wonderful family vacation!

ABSOLUTELY AWESOME HOUSE, super clean and beautiful inside and out. Definitely a family home. We highly recommend to any family who wants to have an awesome time

Lori is a fantastic host. She was responsive and friendly. Her home is beautiful and well-tended. The beds were comfortable and the house was clean. The house is roomy with plenty of beds for everyone. The family room was perfect for movie night. The house is within easy walking distance to several restaurants and the boardwalk. We will definitely keep this in mind for future stays.

Excellent home. Was attached to another dwelling but felt very private as no one was next door during our stay. Host was very accommodating, neighbors extremely friendly. Lots of dogs being walked in the surrounding area. Roads very safe to go for an extended walk. Winds coming off the water surprisingly strong at times; was impressed at how secure the house seemed during stormy winds. Best part of the stay was being right on the water of the river/bay.

We had a great stay at the Koi house, very nice and neat place. Had the perfect amount of room for our group. The backyard and fire pit were very nice as well. Very clean also

This was a great vacation. This place has it all from the pool to the kayaking, fishing, crabbing and the late night fires were we all just sat around the fire and enjoyed the time together. The house was awesome, plenty of room for all. The family had a great time. Definitely would rent this place again.

Hosts were very polite and friendly the location is perfect for going to all the beaches its centralized so you can easily get around yet have a peaceful stay also the fishing was good easy access to the bay and short drive to indian river inlet

Absolutely loved this place. One suggestion is to put some type of privacy paper over the door. The place is clean. However I don’t think white towels with stains should be used for guest. He was very responsive and attentive when it was brought to his attention. Outside of that I would definitely recommend and stay again.

This was my second time staying here. The units are extremely dog-friendly, offering plenty of space for pups to run around. The bed was very comfortable, and we loved relaxing on the patio. Guests also have access to a fire pit, which was a great bonus. It’s the ideal spot if you’re visiting Lewes, Rehoboth, or Dewey.

We had a winter visit and despite it being freezing outside the house was nice and toasty and we appreciated the fast hot water for showering. No fenced yard for our dog but it's a nice area to walk around. Central location, close to restaurants. Would stay again.

Patty ‘s place was a wonderful retreat for a peaceful and relaxing weekend. The home is comfortably furnished with gorgeous decor. There were even fresh flowers! Appreciated the large sofa and the gigantic TV. Enjoyed the nature views throughout the many windows,, it was private and secluded. It was nice waking up to gentle bird song. There were plenty of fantastic restaurants nearby, the location is close to beaches and parks. Patty was easy to communicate with and responsive with any messages. It was a great stay, and if in the area again, would definitely return to this Airbnb.

My fiancé and I (and our dog) greatly enjoyed our stay at Alketa’s place! It was far enough from Ocean City to be quiet and peaceful, yet just a few minute drive to many attractions, and no more than 10 minutes into the main strip! Also somehow only 15 minutes from Assateague Island as well, so great location! It was really helpful having the fenced in backyard for our pup. We loved the place and would definitely stay here again!

How nice to feel like you are at home when you are away! Kaye's apartment has all the amenities of home you could need. Everything you could think of to need, she has stocked or available. Much thought has been put into making this a cozy, homey place to stay. Kaye was proactive, accommodating, and so friendly as a host. The back patio in the sun is delightful on a nice day! I would highly recommend Kaye and her apartment and hope to be able to stay here again when I need to be Salisbury.

Can’t say enough about Adele & John as hosts, how friendly and helpful they were, and of course how clean, comfortable and convenient the unit was. Will definitely stay again when in the area! Loved watching chickens the chickens on the property- so much fun!

Had a great time at the Elderberries cottage! The views were spectacular, and you could take them in from the enclosed porch, the open deck, and even the living room. The entire setup was perfect for a vacation/remote work getaway, and the kitchen has everything you need. WiFi worked great, and the smart TV supported pretty much any streaming service you'd want. Rachel was friendly and super responsive; we hope to stay there again sometime.

Basia was very attentive and responsive before and after our arrival. Any time we communicated with her, we got an immediate response. The cottage was beautiful and perfect for the two of us and our dog. Thank you!

We had a great experience at the house! Communication with Jonelle was great! On arrival everything was clean and tidy. The location was quiet which was nice because we ran a 5k in the morning. Everything was great except the mattresses weren’t the most comfortable but everyone has different preferences.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Alexander and his wife's charming cottage, and we couldn't be happier with the experience. Watching the sun dip below the horizon from the dock was simply mesmerizing. The location is also ideal—just a short 10-minute drive to downtown St. Michaels, where we enjoyed exploring the local shops and restaurants. The hosts truly go above and beyond to make their guests feel welcome, and it shows in every aspect of their hospitality. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a peaceful and memorable retreat.

Great place to stay for rest, relaxation, peace and quiet. In my short time there, I saw a wild turkey, a fox, an otter, red wing black birds, a woodpecker, and cardinals. And at night, I heard tree frogs and an owl was really close by. Terri is wonderful as a host!

Great escape from the city! Beautiful setting and very clean. The host was very accommodating and responsive. We would definitely stay again when in the area visiting family. Always an added bonus when we can travel with our pup!
