Bed and breakfast vacation rentals in Albemarle Sound

Great location, beautiful house. Right across from the beach. Our room had a nice balcony. We liked the coffee and snacks in the shared kitchen downstairs also nice to meet other guests to socialize with. Would stay there again.

This was the best Airbnb and/or B&B experience we’ve ever had. Johanna and Michael are the perfect hosts and their house and hospitality are off the charts. The reviews are all spot on and this is a true B&B experience. Johanna went overboard to ensure my family’s comfort and stay were amazing. We would DEFINITELY stay again. It was one of the best parts of our OBX experience. Thank you so much Johanna for everything. You are the bestest host ever!!!

Our stay in the sea level suite was perfect. The location was great, the beach is right across the street and there are so many great restaurants within a short walk/drive. The breakfast was simple but just what we needed to start our day and the afternoon snacks were a nice treat! Being able to bring our dog was a huge plus. Would defiantly love to stay here again in the future.

I was traveling with my husband and mother. We felt very well taken care of! We were personally greeted and taken to our rooms, and were welcomed with champagne and a charcuterie board! The breakfasts were absolutely delicious and a fun start to our day. Cheryl,and her friend Teresa, gave us great recommendations of restaurants and things to do in the area. There are special touches in the rooms that make you feel thought of—such as Godiva chocolates and nice glassware for drinks and coffee. Cheryl also provides bath robes and toiletries. There is a kuerig machine with plenty of coffee available. The rooms have been updated with a fresh clean look! The beds are cozy and comfortable! I look forward to coming back some day! This was our second time staying at Cathy's beautiful home. We were thrilled that her place was available for our 6-day stay! Cathy is a terrific host and you have all the comforts of home! Cathy goes above and beyond to provide little extras. For example, she started us out with lots of breakfast items and snacks which lasted the majority of our stay. The kitchenette area has everything that you need to warm up food, as well as a nice eat-in area. We enjoy that we have the whole top floor ... with a large full bathroom, kitchenette and laundry area. We were able to do a load of laundry before we packed to travel home. The bed is comfortable, with extra pillows in the closet. The room is very large and perfect for a long stay. Each evening we walked over to the water. The area is safe and was beautiful .... all decorated for Christmas. We also walked to several places to do some shopping. I highly recommend this location and Cathy's home!

This was my first time with Airbnb as a guest I am a host as well it's really nice to be on the other side and let me tell you about Debora she is extremely clean she is always smiling her house is very lovely she has a very unique taste of art Asian art her husband was very nice person we shared a lot of stories she is a people person The room was extremely clean the whole neighborhood was nice and quiet the breakfast was excellent I had everything I need for breakfast fruit juice coffee tea bacon sausage cereal and milk and many more I had access to Netflix TV everything in this house I loved my wife didn't want to leave she wanted to stay there longer that's how nice our first experience was just make sure you don't bring any seafood with you she is so allergic to seafood she opened her patio for us so we can eat our seafood out there and I highly appreciate it that her husband was helping us with everything simply I miss that place as well as my wife we will definitely come back again and we will definitely recommend you to stay at Debora and her husband's house.

Reserved an apartment at Kris’s bed and breakfast for family coming into town. Due to a glitch in the system she realized that the apartment was double booked and immediately offered two rooms for the same price. Her response was amazing and my family bragged about the place the entire time they visited taking pictures of everything. 10/10 would recommend and have my family stay there again!!!

Our second stay at The Culpepper Inn and we will be back! Well-appointed, spotless room and bathroom, very comfortable bed and superb shower. Good variety of complimentary foods for breakfast including eggs to cook yourself, homemade coffee cakes, cold cereal, bagels, yogurt, coffee and juice. Beautiful, well-kept grounds and pool to enjoy. Holly and Michael are wonderful hosts and responsive to requests. We love it here!

The experience was top elegance of southern hospitality. My gripe was I don't like modern art, but the outstanding beauty of everything else overcomes that gripe. The breakfast especially was memorable. The closest comparison I have to make is staying in a southern edition of Downton Abbey.

Wonderful place to stay! Very clean, welcoming and comfortable! The location is hard to beat and the host is incredible!

Holly & Mike are warm welcoming hosts , their property is beautiful with a fabulous backyard , seating areas , & pool . We would open the window facing the pool in the mornings while we had our coffee to hear the birds singing and the fountain. We had a delightful stay in one of our favorite little towns .

This was our second stay at the Pinner House, and we were definitely not disappointed! The place is always spotless, but Kris took extra steps to make sure the home was sanitized and we were the only guests, due to covid-19. We really appreciated the accommodations made on that part. It’s such a beautiful getaway in Suffolk, that you truly feel you’re on vacation! From the fire Kris made in their outdoor fireplace in the evening, to the lovely breakfast prepared for us in the morning, you will not be disappointed with your stay at the Pinner House!

My husband and I have been visiting Elizabeth City often and love staying with Kelly and Rick. Feels like home! Ghost Walk is my favorite time of year and this time we brought friends! The Pepperberry is located on Main Street and is walkable to the water front and to great restaurants !
