Vacation rentals with beach access in Zaanstad

My stay was absolutely perfect! Laura was there to greet me promptly at check in time with information on the city, restaurant recs and lovely conversation. The building is old and gorgeous only adding to the experience. With fresh sheets, towels and waterfall shower! The neighborhood is quaint and cute with everything you need in walking distance. It was a treat to be right on the canal as well. Laura brought breakfast each morning with a healthy assortment of breads, fresh fruit and more. (I'm pretty sure that was freshly squeezed fruit juice as well?!) Absolutely fantastic experience!

A 10-star accommodation, quite an experience

Spacious, functional, very clean apartment in a quiet area. All shops nearby... with an excellent pastry shop - chocolate shop. Train station 5 minutes' walk away (convenient for taking the train to Amsterdam in 20 minutes). Beach 4 km away. I would this property. Communication with Koen went very well.

Julie was such a friendly host. We had a great time at her amazing place. It was very well equipped and had a wonderful view on the dunes as well on the beach. We would love to come again in the future. Thank you for everything, Julie! :)

We felt comfortable from the beginning. 😊 The apartment is lovingly furnished and equipped, especially the bed is very comfortable and the bathroom modern. We didn't miss anything. 😊 The beach is within walking distance (about 20 minutes through the city center). Would vacation here again anytime! 🌞

We enjoyed this accomodation in Haarlem. The neighborhood is charming and quiet. The property has a wonderful garden and a pond with koi. The hosts are super friendly. The unit makes excellent use of the long narrow space of the typical homes in the Netherlands. The bed was comfortable and the shower was great. The one negative of our visit was the hot tub. We expressed interest in using it months before arrival. After arriving we inquired again, only to learn it had recently broken and the replacement part hadn't arrived yet. This was pretty disappointing, as the hot tub was one of the reasons we chose this booking. We understand things happen but it would have been good to know before we arrived. Overall a lovely Airbnb.

We had a great week in this wonderful apartment. It was sparkling clean, cozy and the view was beautiful. You feel right at home. It has plenty of space to store your own things and everything you need as a family is available. It is very generously replenished with shower gel, toilet paper, dishwasher pads, tea, coffee, etc. We will be happy to come back and thank you for everything!!

The owner was super helpful and helped us book a parking spot for our car. The place itself is spotless and rather quiet. Only two things to note : - She asked for a security deposit of 100€ cash, returned at checkout. - There was no shower soap/shampoo when we arrived.

We had a wonderful time at Laura's family's house. It is very tastefully decorated, with lots of loving details. We felt right at home. The beach is within walking distance. An ideal location to visit Amsterdam, Haarlem and Alkmaar. There is much more to discover in the area. Maybe we can come back sometime. We look forward to it.

We had a wonderful holiday with child and dog. We didn't lack anything in the accommodation. The location was great too. Right next to the dunes and not far to the sea. We felt very comfortable and would be happy to come back. Petri was also very sweet.

A very cozy vacation home with everything you need and much more. We particularly enjoyed the fact that the beach is within walking distance. There are many nice beach bars!

We had a wonderful time in Wenja's beautiful beach house. It was so lovingly and chicly furnished, the kitchen fully equipped. The description of the apartment is absolutely true. The children had great pleasure swimming in the pool and the sauna afterwards was a treat. In a few minutes, you will be at the beautiful beach with a nice beach bar. (It should be mentioned that one section is a dog beach. For our children, it was a great pleasure to meet so many friendly dogs. ) From the apartment it is only a few minutes by car to the shopping center in the village and many sights (e.g. Keukenhof, Amsterdam, Rotterdam, Zandvoort, etc.) can be reached in 20-40 minutes. What a stunning place to stay! From the moment we walked in, we were welcomed into a spacious and elegantly designed home. The place was really great – thanks to Margaretha for the great travel tips! With the two e-bikes she provided us, we were able to explore the whole area. It really was a great experience.

We had a nice family holiday in Wyik aan Zee. Beautiful beach for walking. A trip to Haarlem and Amsterdam was also on the agenda. Highly recommend. All in all, we will be happy to come back.

Very bright accommodation, on a quiet street offering the possibility to park the car for free. We appreciated the warm decoration, very different from the usual IKEA style in AirBnb, and the beautiful green plants, including the wall of plants never seen in France in a private home. No doubt, we were in the Netherlands where flowers are everywhere. Pleasant complement to our visit to the Keukenhof which is only 20 km away. Thanks to Niels for her restaurant tips in Haarlem, a charming city 15mn from Amsterdam by train.

A really individual accommodation, totally creatively furnished (70s style)...you had everything you needed, with your own shower and toilet ....bedroom with large window front.. quietly located, but super central...Wijk aan zee is not so big and touristy.. the beach and the dunes were within walking distance ...Sharon and Ivo are super relaxed hosts...there is nothing to complain about...price -performance optimal.. we liked it very much, gladly again!!!

Excellent stay, Jacqueline is remarkably kind and gives very good advice, super quiet apartment in a residential area. Shops are within walking distance in 10 minutes as well as restaurants. A huge beach right next door.

Walkable distance from Beverwijk station. From Amsterdam, you need to take NS which takes 32 mins. Frequency of train is every 20-30 mins. Nice place to stay. we reached late night as well and place is safe.

Relaxing girls' weekend

We were initially planning to stay in Amsterdam for our short visit to Holland but found Tess’ place in Haarlem and stayed there instead. It is a magical place- both the city and the apartment. The space is beautiful- so well designed and full of character. And Haarlem is full of charm without the mobs of tourists. Very easy to get into Amsterdam if you chose to. A great experience!

A serene and peaceful stay at this airbnb. Situated at a walkable distance from the train station, we were able to easily commute into Amsterdam every day and the quiet and private area of Uitgeest was a lovely change at the end of a long day exploring the city centre. The local shop had everything we needed for the days we stayed in to cook and the space was everything we needed for two, with a unique attention to detail for the interior design, which made our stay that much more enjoyable. The bright status up provided a lovely atmosphere and the comfy bed made resting after a long day, so much better! It was so worth staying outside of the city centre for this affordable location. Thank you for having us!

Our weekend was very nice and the appartment is truly special :) The interior and the decoration is very interesting and you discover something new all the time. You just need to be aware that there are two steep stairs in the appartment which might cause some issues for people who are not really fit. If that is not a problem for you you should definetly go there :)
