Barn vacation rentals in Wrexham Principal Area

Had a really love couple of nights with a group of friends over New Years Eve. Margaret was really helpful, she met us when we arrived and showed us around the house so we knew where everything was. The place is huge so that was really helpful. It looks just like the photos and is in a really lovely place, we could see horses out of our window and at night the stars were really bright. It was a perfect countryside escape and really well suited to a big group of people.

Great hosts and a great location, we had a lovely time. Would definitely recommend.

Another lovely stay at Pinfold Barn. There were five adults and three dogs in our party with plenty of room for everyone. This is a lovely, spacious, clean, warm and comfortable house with great amenities. The garden is secure for the dogs and it’s a real bonus to have the enclosed field for them to run around in. Also plenty of space for us all to sit out and enjoy the sunshine. Ali is a great host. She is extremely flexible with check in and out times and left us some lovely goodies which were much appreciated. We highly recommend this lovely barn. Thank you Ali!

This is a really comfortable and peaceful home in a lovely countryside location. Waking up in the morning and sitting outside on the patio is a fabulous way to start the day. A visit from Mao the family cat and Toby the dog was a real bonus and made it feel like home. It is very well placed to reach almost anywhere which is why we picked it. Very easy access to Shrewsbury, Whitchurch, Telford, Wem, Ludlow from here. Lots of walks, local attractions close by. Found a couple of great farm shops. Sasha communicates very well and responds to questions very quickly. Really appreciated them helping me sort out my printer hook up, as I was struggling - they came across with a cable and we got it all going which really helped as needed to print some papers while I was there. I would say the only thing that would make it much better would be to put some wardrobes in the bedrooms. Other than that 5 star all the way.

Excellent accommodation, exactly as described. Two well appointed bedrooms with powerful hot showers. We really appreciated the toys, tractor and box of Lego which kept our grandson busy for quite a few hours. Very welcoming hosts, and two lovely labradors who came to say hello. Only a short drive to Loggerheads Country Park for a great walk with lovely scenery.

Great place for a get together. Both sides had hot tubs and they were great with checking in and out!

I actually live very close by, but I had to accomodate people for my wife's birthday. It was far cheaper than a hotel, more convenient and `I would, and probably will, use it again. Thanks...we had a great birthday celebration!

We had a fantastic few days at the house for a three generational family gathering. The space was even better than the photos - super cosy, comfortable, lovely artwork and homely decor and plenty of games and books to keep everyone entertained - from granny to grandchildren. Really well equipped kitchen and big dining room for family meals. Kate and fergus were super friendly and helpful - we’d definitely return if we needed to come back to the area xx

We had an amazing stay for my partners 30th. The house was immaculate and exactly as described. Robin and Lois were really friendly and super easy to communicate with. We enjoyed climbing Snowdon and the hot tub afterwards with sunset views was a great touch. We visited the old stag pub twice for dinner (3 min drive) which served delicious food at great value for money. Another great restaurant was the hangin pizzeria in Bets-y-coed, where we also took a long walk with waterfall views. I would highly recommend this listing to anyone who asks.

We had a great stay in Moreton - a family of 4 plus dog staying for a few days whilst visiting relatives nearby. Our dog was made very welcome, the girls loved the hot tub and everything was clean, comfortable and easy to use. Note also that there is a new shower fitted, so we had no issues with water pressure as mentioned in some earlier reviews. It is off the beaten track, but as a result is scenic and peaceful, so we liked it that way! Thanks very much, will visit again.

Great small touches lovely fresh eggs, bread, butter, wine and even supplied some baby food for our grandson. Very friendly and thoughtful, responsive to requests. We also met Luke who kindly lit us a fire in the evenings. Lovely Airbnb comfortable and in beautiful surroundings. Would recommend.

We were thrilled with this airbnb. It was beautiful and spacious. One of our party was in a wheelchair and was able to get around downstairs with ease. The downstairs bedroom was perfect for them (which is a room in it's own right, not the lounge with sofa beds as I thought from the pictures). The downstairs bathroom was also great for them. Gemma had put out ramps for the slight step on the entry door, and a step inside approaching the lounge. She had also rolled up the rugs to make it easier for them to get around. She was proactive and always responsive to texts. There was room for our four cars outside! We often saw Gemma go past with her beautiful horses and she stopped for a chat. I can recommend this place with enthusiasm, it is a haven of peace and comfort. (You don't need a code to get into the gate even though it looks like it from the pictures, but you will get a key-box code for the front door key a day or two before you get there).

We had a lovely stay using it as a base for various activities in North Wales. It's such a peaceful spot, and Fiona and Richard were so helpful with check in and other info. Loved all the animals too.

Had a lovely stay here with my friends for my 30th birthday. The house is stunning, exactly like the pictures and it was spotless. The location is great, it feels very private as no one is over looking you. Cordula was a great host and was very quick to respond to any queries that I had. I would recommend staying here and would absolutely stay here again!

Our stay at Lucy's property was exactly what we'd hoped for. The property was exactly as described and spotless. The kitchen is well equipped, the wood burner is a great feature and the hot tub is a real bonus. The rural location is magic, with some great walks nearby and Shrewsbury about 30 mins drive. Lucy is a brilliant host, responsive and attentive without being intrusive. It was a fab experience all round.

This little Gíte is an absolute gem. The accommodation is small but very perfectly formed. absolutely everything you could need was there. The decor was so tasteful and everything was high spec. I can't recommend this little place enough. Adele was so lovely, very friendly and responsive. The highlight of our stay was meeting her little pooch Sid, he's a little star. Thanks Adele, we had a lovely break.

Hilary and Greg were incredibly friendly and helpful. The property was spotless, spacious, and beautifully furnished. We’ll definitely return and highly recommend it to others.

We had such a wonderful stay! Helen and Tony are absolutely lovely—so friendly, caring, and welcoming. The cottage itself is beautiful, warm, and cozy, with everything you could possibly need. It’s also spacious—big, comfortable, and perfect for unwinding. The surrounding scenery is breathtaking, and the fact that you live on a farm with horses and birds around adds such a peaceful, magical touch. It’s the perfect spot for both relaxing and exploring. We truly felt at home and can’t wait to come back!

Beautiful place to stay and fabulous hosts just a bit too far out from the shops and places to visit due to the rural location. Great if you just want to stay in and enjoy the local area and hot tub

Our stay was truly wonderful, the cottage was lovely, spacious and located in a peaceful area and exactly how described. Mandy was an amazing host, the bread and cake she made was delicious, she really was an incredible host and provided you with everything you could possible need and if there was something you did need and it wasn't in the cottage, Mandy provided you a list of local stores. Was an a round amazing trip away and would highly recommend.

Had three lovely nights in ‘The Dairy’. It was a good base to visit the local area; we went to the ice cream farm, and Chester zoo, and would recommend both. Accommodation was well maintained, spacious, clean and had good facilities. Shaun met us as we arrived, very pleasant and friendly, would recommend.
