Farmstay vacation rentals in Wimmera

Lovely little cottage with a proper rustic feel. It was as clean as it could be. Checkin instructions were perfectly fine for us. Our (lovely) neighbour checking in to the nearby cabin however had trouble in the dark and ended up knocking on our door for a midnight chat leading to a surprisingly wonderful interaction between strangers in a strange place in a late hour of the night. T&J you made our stay entirely memorable. Haha.. Thanks Denise for a comfortable stay, we picked a good temperature day/night to stay.

We had a great stay at Theodora's place in Halls Gap. The accommodation was amazing. Very clean, very cosy with beautiful views of the surrounding mountains all while still feeling very private set back off the main road. Everything you need is just a short walk away including restaurants, the brewery, groceries and access to the beautiful national parks. The bed was comfy, towels were fresh and soft, the heating was toasty on the cold mornings and the AC perfect on the hot afternoons. We enjoyed a drink on the balcony watching the kangaroos, ducks and magpies with the stunning back drop of the Grampians. A small group of deer even came in on dusk. Theodora was a fantastic host. With the recent bush fires we had concerns before coming up to the area but Theodora eased our minds. We wouldn't stay anywhere else next time we visit. PS, we arrived to a tasty gift basket with bread, spreads and some delicious fudge!!

We loved our stay here for the weekend. Local hikes are a short drive away and amenities very close too. Stunning backdrop to the bbq area with heaps of roos. Well stocked kitchen and comfy beds! Very peaceful place! Would recommend

We had a great stay here with 10 friends, cooking up a big meal, and watching the kangaroos and fairy wrens. Lovely views of the Grampians. And plenty of room for everyone.

Extremely comfortable, quiet cottage and so conducive to relaxation and restoration. Beautiful surroundings and countryside, with native birds in abundance. Alison was a very helpful and welcoming host who communicated readily.

We had a very comfortable and peaceful stay at Rhymney Skye Farm Stay. Catherine’s warm welcome and hospitality were truly exceptional. We also enjoyed several treatments from Catherine, which demonstrated her outstanding care. The farm, surrounded by sheep and horses, provided a serene atmosphere. The indoor wood fireplace and outdoor fire pit offered us an extraordinary experience. This place is highly recommended for relaxation and rejuvenation of the mind. We spent memorable hours by the outdoor fire pit in the evening, which made us feel as though we were in paradise.

Such a stunning home. Location is just off the main road so gets a bit noisy but still a lovely place to stay and the house has everything you need!

Myself and my bridal party got stayed here and got ready before my wedding. There’s was lots of space and natural like from the big windows which the makeup artist loved. The mountain views from the windows and outside the house are amazing. House well very neat and tidy and had everything we needed.

Thank you Ant and Melissa!! The Shack and surroundings were even more beautiful than the photos- you're facing grass and farmlands which lead to the face of a mountain. We saw all sorts of different birds, kangaroos, wallabies, sheep, cows and horses, just from the deck of the shack. The fire powered bath was AMAZING- especially as you're looking out at the mountains. HIGHLY recommend going and staying at the shack for at least a day so you can really soak up the surroundings. We unfortunately missed the farm tour but will definitely be back!!

Paul was an exceptional host. The Tiny house was exactly as described with everything we would need for a comfortable stay and so much more. Although tiny, the clever design and thoughtful inclusions meant our family of four had a great time. There were family games, a mini library and the necessities to cook up some family meals. Our kids loved the sleeping nook, ability to roast marshmallows and feeding the friendly camels a bag of carrots. Can highly recommend Paul’s tiny house for a memorable stay.

We loved our stay at Pillows and Jam. So beautiful and peaceful. The place is really comfortable and we enjoyed discovering the perfect touches around every corner. From the generous hamper to the quality fixtures. Megan is an excellent host and any expectations we had were certainly exceed.

Second time we have stayed here. As we found before, it is quiet, comfortable with loads of space, clean and tidy. Hosted by thoughtful folk. Home away from home.

Camping area is a short walk from the main residence and amenities, had all we needed - light, hot water, barbecue and fire pits. Short 20 min drive from Horsham and not far from Halls Gap too! We were unlucky with the weather for camping but the host - Paul was very accommodating offering us space for refuge during the storm, even saved the day when we needed a jump-start! We are looking forward to summer camping and absolutely will be coming back to check out the other tiny home spaces on offer at the property. Loved our stay, easy walk/bike ride into town. House is in a very quiet area and right across the road from a national park, so lots of nice walking trails close by. Stephen's house was immaculate but also very child friendly. A list of house instructions, local things do and places to eat we're left for us, which was very helpful. Would come back in a heart beat. Thanks for having us!

Perfect stay. Lovely peaceful place to stay in Halls Gap surrounded by incredible scenery and wildlife. Close to great walks. Staff were so friendly. The double room and shared areas were comfy and spotless with loads of places to sit and relax. Wish we were staying longer!!! Would definitely stay here again :)

Liza’s place was great. I got married down the road at Cave Hill Creek & got ready there with my bridal party. Heaps of natural light & took beautiful getting ready photos.

Kelly was fantastic to communicate with, very responsive and helpful. She gave clear instructions for check in and had good information in the house for everything else. We had everything we needed kitchenwise, firefighters and loads of firewood and kindling for the fire pit, ample towels etc. location is as described and.... fantastic! Right in the centre of town, a moment's walk from everything. The backyard and deck have a cracking view east toward a beautiful Grampians vista, wild life abounds. Yard is semi closed in and safe for kids, although with lots of duck and roo poo on the back lawn, maybe not got great for a crawler. Only negatives were the lack of privacy with the neighbouring holiday house. (second night saw a large noisy contingent next door) and the capacity of the internet (second night, could not stream anything without it dropping out... first night was fine) but really who is watching tv in such a beautiful spot! Fantastic property, lovely host! Thank you

Lovely place to stay if visiting the Grampians. It is very far from amenities (shops etc) but we came prepared and once there the views are stunning. My daughter loved seeing all the animals on the farm.

Great location close to Main Street yet a block back so quiet and set in beautiful tranquil surrounds. Lots of native wildlife in garden. Will definitely be back.
