Vacation rentals in Willsons Downfall

Stayed here for two nights over the long weekend for a getaway. It’s a lovely place, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful and relaxing break.

Mads.. we have no words!! We couldn’t have asked for a more tranquil, quiet, relaxing getaway! We explored a portion of the gardens until finding the video on BHG from the owners of the house and realised they were happy for us to explore more (we needed to see the wisteria even if it is autumn) we just didn’t want to disturb others. The gardens have inspired us for our future home! The cottage was clean, comfortable, and set in an incredible location to make it private. Kangaroos jumped past our windows. We could see birds in the lake. We strolled and found horses to pat and some sheep and chickens enjoying foraging. Would’ve love to have seen the peacock roaming but even a kelpie came close to the cottage to say hello from a distance. The small touches of breakfast in the fridge made all the difference! You were prompt with your replies while we stayed and we cannot thank you enough! We cannot wait to come back and make more lifetime memories in this location!

Incredible Airbnb, exactly what you look for in a country nsw cottage - full of character and everything you could need. It was an experience in itself and we thoroughly enjoyed our night there. Looking forward to returning!

This is the second time we have stayed here and it was even more fantastic this time. The second bathroom has been renovated which just shows Jacqui is constantly reinvesting in this beautiful home. This house has everything you could want or need. It is exactly what an Airbnb should be with everything being extremely well equipped (especially the kitchen). There is barely a utensil or pantry basic you won’t find and the same goes for the cupboards of games, firewood and bathrooms. We were offered a late check out without having to ask and Jacqui’s communication was fantastic throughout the booking. Couldn’t recommend a better spot in Stanthorpe with a more gorgeous view of the river and such a short walk into town. We will definitely stay again.

We loved our stay at Davadi Cottage. Very comfortable with every detail considered. Great location, close to town for eateries/coffee and driving distance to nearby wineries and national parks. Definitely recommend. Thank you Anneke for a wonderful stay.

We were 3 couples in our 60’s having a long weekend in Stanthorpe. The property was peaceful private and had a beautiful aesthetic. The house was pristine, roomy, nicely appointed and very comfortable. A separate toilet for the main bathroom that is shared by up to 6 people would have been preferable however we understand that is a design issue. We loved lighting the fire in the outdoor fire pit and watching the beautiful sunset while lounging on the lovely outdoor chairs. A lovely weekend enjoying wine tasting in the area and nature on our property was had by all. Sarah was a great host.

I have no words. Literally. Maybe the buzz words though cuz they all match perfectly … peaceful, secluded, well appointed, close to everything. I’m DEFINITELY coming to stay again.
