We had a 3 night stay at Sanjay's place and though it was pretty warm at Kalimpong, the house was cool, covered with greenery all around. If you like places which are away from the hustle and bustle, tucked within greenery, then this is the place to go. Food was homely and delicious. My 10 year old son was busy througout the stay playing in the adjoining areas in the property. We were travelling with old parents and my wife was recovering from a fractured foot so when we navigated through the flight of stairs to reach to our cottage, they did not seem happy. But all of that was gone the next days as they enjoyed all the walk they could get amidst the purity of nature. Sanjay and his staff are super responsive and always there with a smile. So in short, if you are looking at this property and reading my review, my suggestion would be to go ahead and book.

I had a wonderful stay at this Airbnb! The property was exactly as described—clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The peaceful surroundings made it an ideal place to unwind. The host was responsive and accommodating, ensuring everything went smoothly. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing and stress-free stay!

If you like to spend your vacation away from the city's hustle and bustle and like to be in the nature lap where birds sound will give you a morning alarm, then this is the perfect place for you. The host was very helpful. Shreya's brother Suraj and his wife were there. When we reached the place, they served us an awesome homemade lunch and tea and then gave us a nature walk around the property. Their very friendly dog was a special attraction for our daughter. Suraj sir has even explained how they pluck tea leaves and dry them to make tea to our daughter. Even on the day of check out, we had to leave early morning, around 6 am, but Suraj sir was kind that he even brought tea on that morning without even mentioning it. It really felt like home. We even saw the sunrise from our cottage view was literally awesome. Overall, I would definitely recommend this place. The only thing is you need to hike a little to enter the cottage, but they will definitely help you with your luggage.

We spent a couple of days at this serene retreat and absolutely loved it! Our ever-smiling host, Lama Pasang, was incredibly helpful. The presence of the super-friendly dogs was a much-appreciated bonus. While local food options were limited, they were delicious and very reasonably priced. We would love to visit again — preferably for a longer stay!

We had a wonderful stay at Dheeraj’s place! The house is beautifully designed with great aesthetics, and the view from the balcony is stunning. There’s a lovely outdoor seating area where we enjoyed our morning coffee and breakfast while spending time together. The rooms were spotless—neat and squeaky clean. Dheeraj’s mom made us some delicious food, and both Dheeraj and his mom were incredibly kind and helpful throughout our stay. One thing to note is that the house is situated uphill, and it’s on the third floor, so there are stairs to climb. If you’re traveling with senior citizens, this might be a bit challenging. However, there’s a small set of steps nearby that leads directly to the road, making access a little easier. A special mention to the fireplace inside the room—it’s like an English-style one and adds such a cozy charm! Dheeraj is an amazing host and the go-to person for any help in and around Darjeeling. Highly recommend this place for a peaceful and comfortable stay!

The house itself is very well equipped with everything you will be needing .It had warm blankets ,lots of snacks ,oats and cornflakes.The stay inside the house was wonderful and extremely convenient.However the cab guys of Darjeeling mostly refused to drop us off in front of the place and every-time we had to hike up and down a steep slope from the Mall Road to this place .The helper Pranesh was very helpful and responsive and he convinced the cab guy to drop us off in front of the Airbnb .

It’s rare to find such a spacious apartment in Darjeeling, and the best part — it’s just a short walk from Mall Road! The place is impeccably maintained, offering a cozy and comfortable stay that’s perfect for families or groups of friends. With all the amenities provided and the prime location, the price feels more than reasonable. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a hassle-free, comfortable stay in the heart of Darjeeling!

Great apartment, compact rooms but plenty of space for family of 4. Lovely fluffy towels! Lots of extras supplied - coffee, toothbrushes, plug convertors etc. Location is good - walking distance to the train station and restaurants, but quiet at night. Host was very helpful with restaurant recommendations and offered to arrange breakfast items. The apartment has a board with info on it, although would be helpful to have a map with the apartment marked on it. Lovely view of the mountains at sunset from one of the rooms. Only thing we suggested would be good to have is a small fridge, but the kitchen is otherwise well equipped.

Best part was the Location and the View.❤️ Walkable distance from Mallroad. So your evening strolls become easier. View from the Balcony was breathtaking throughout the day, specially in the mornings. Kitchen was neatly maintained and well equipped for basic cooking. They had a little geyser for kitchen Sink also, which was much needed in the cold. Getting there is little tricky as Cars can't always reach near the building because of Vehicle restrictions and tiny roads. You have to walk a bit but it was easy. They also arranged a porter person to carry the luggage to the apartment while we arrived and also while we were checking out. My family absolutely loved the Stay.😍 Aniruddha was a great host. Always quick with responses and very well mannered. 👍🏻
